I may owe you an apology or there may be an issue with my account that needs to be addressed. I am aware of my interest-free limit of £[redacted] and always strive to stay within it, though sometimes I am not successful. Currently in France visiting my wife's family and friends, I cover all petrol expenses. Even considering the car insurance renewal earlier this month, I expected to have enough funds until my next two pension payments. Yesterday, I was surprised to find my card blocked at a supermarket and ATM, a first-time experience, leading me to believe I may have exceeded my £[redacted] limit. Although I couldn't see my current balance this morning, I managed to withdraw E50.00. Since we have more visits planned, I kindly request a review of my account and your findings. For security, I do not have my security devices with me when traveling abroad, as I have not needed them before. Should I bring them now? Thank you for any information and guidance you can provide.

I am not currently a customer of First Direct, but I am interested in becoming one soon. I have had a poor experience with Santander's customer service, so I am looking to switch banks. As a UK citizen and pensioner who spends part of the year in Thailand due to the cold UK winters, I heavily rely on online banking. Santander provides me with a cheque book; would First Direct provide the same service if I switched? Additionally, does First Direct use a One Time Passcode sent via mobile text for online transactions? I face issues with Santander's security protocols when sending money from Thailand due to using a local Thai mobile SIM. If I were to switch to First Direct, would it be better to wait until I am back in the UK with a UK mobile number? Lastly, I am curious if First Direct charges fees for ATM card usage outside the UK and if there are monthly fees for their current account banking system.

I am encountering issues while trying to register for online banking with First Direct. I have entered my username, password, and security question but have not received any activation code emails after requesting three times. I was informed that it might take up to 2 hours for the email to arrive. My initial request was made around 2 pm today. I had trouble with First Direct online banking in the past as well. I am considering closing my account, but I have a standing order I need to update, requiring access to online banking. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I submitted a complaint regarding a debit of #28,[redacted] from my First Bank account last month. However, I have not received any resolution yet. It has been over 14 days since I reported the issue on the 30th of March, [redacted], related to a POS transaction at First Bank Igbogila branch. Despite calling the branch manager, I have not been able to reach him as he does not answer my calls. I am using this platform to urgently request First Bank to refund my money before Monday morning. This matter is crucial for me. Thank you.
