I created a new Facebook account the other night but forgot the password when I logged out. Unfortunately, I want to deactivate the account, but I can't do it myself as I don't remember the password. Since the account is new and I have no friends added, I can't reset the password as I mistakenly used the wrong email address. I'm hoping that you can assist me in deleting the account named Abbey Cox, with a profile picture of a smiling girl that's me, and a cover photo of my hair. I prefer to keep my old Facebook account, and I just want to remove this one to avoid confusion among people who might think my account got hacked. I rely on Facebook for appointments, and I don't want to miss out on business if clients message the wrong account. Thank you for your help.

I would like to reset my password, but the only option available is to send the reset code to an old email address that I cannot remember. I am currently linking my account to my phone number (+[redacted][redacted]), which you can verify from my account details. This phone number matches the one in the authentication field. I kindly request the reset code to be sent to this phone number instead. I have forgotten my old password. Please note, I can still access my messenger but am unable to log into my Facebook page at the moment.

I have been using my account for a while, and suddenly when I logged in earlier, it asked for my ID verification. Subsequently, when I tried to log in again, my account was disabled without any explanation. I have not violated any guidelines and use this Facebook account daily. It seems like my account might have been hacked or reported incorrectly. I need access to my account as it contains important content. This is not the first time you have disabled my account. Another Facebook account of mine, which was a backup, was also disabled without reason or explanation. I believe that one was hacked into as well. I have valuable photos on both accounts and I urgently need them to be reactivated. Please resolve this matter promptly. I have always followed the rules, and I find this situation frustrating. My account was disabled because of a friend from Senegal, an ex-coworker named Fadel. On my birthday, 11-10-[redacted], Fadel sent me a video through WhatsApp. I didn't watch it right away as I was celebrating with friends. When I finally saw it, I was shocked to find it contained explicit content. I only shared it with one trusted friend to ask for advice as I was not in a good state of mind. I contacted Fadel to ask him not to send such videos, but another one arrived. I warned him about the consequences, but he seemed dismissive. I have since apologized for the incident and blocked Fadel on WhatsApp. I have learned my lesson and understand why my account might be locked. I have now taken steps to prevent this from happening again.

My brother, who has very poor eyesight, made errors setting up his account on a new device. I have been trying to help him, but now the account is locked. I am unsure what steps to take. His name is Trevor Moy from the UK. I am not sure how much information to provide, but I need to speak with a human for assistance. I also need to merge another account with the one he is currently using. It has been quite chaotic, especially because he is visually impaired. I am wondering why my Facebook posts were significantly reduced tonight. I can't view the same number of posts I could see before. I do not purchase ads. It is worrying how restrictive Facebook is becoming. I noticed many ads, and now I can't see all posts in chronological order as before. This should be the default setting, not just what benefits Mark Zuckerberg financially. Facebook is becoming overwhelming, and people are taking notice. Could you please explain why my news feed is limited to around 50 posts instead of all of them? Thank you. - Brian

Hello, I encountered an issue accessing the Facebook app on my phone today. However, I could access it through the browser. Upon reviewing my login history, I noticed an unfamiliar login from a different city than my usual location. I changed my password but later saw another unfamiliar login from Chicago. I've updated my password again. My typical login city is Oak Forest, IL. The repeated unknown logins have occurred today. Despite changing my password, the issue persists. I have not changed my location nor used another device; only my phone, which I have kept with me. I enabled notifications for device logins but did not receive any alerts, discovering these logins only by reviewing my account activity. I would appreciate assistance in securing my account. As a proud openly gay man living in Greece, I have worked tirelessly for the acceptance of my true self since my teenage years. I am reclaiming the word "faggot" to express my identity as a gay man and to share my experiences with the pain associated with this term. However, Facebook's AI policies have unjustly blocked my account for a month, falsely categorizing my use of the word as a slur. In Greece, where we face oppression and violence for simply being who we are, it's vital for me to speak out against discrimination. It is disheartening that even on a platform like Facebook, my voice is being censored. After over three decades of proudly living as an openly gay individual in a homophobic society, I should not be further silenced by a mere algorithm. My Snapchat account has been hacked, and I am unable to access it. Inappropriate messages, including hurtful language, were sent using my account, and screenshots of personal information from my Facebook and my mom's Facebook were posted online. This has resulted in threats and harassment, making me feel unsafe. I am Siphuma Lutendo, known as Kramer Edwin, the founder and Admin of the Facebook page "Ignorance of the Law is No Excuse." I am encountering difficulties changing the name of the page. The page's purpose remains the same, and there is no confusion regarding its services or products. I have already registered this business, acquired a domain name, and set up a working website and email address that I wish to link to my Facebook page. I am upset this morning because someone reported my nickname on Facebook, resulting in it being changed from "Flic Toria" to my full name, Felicity. My friends know me by my nickname, and I preferred it that way. Even changing it to "Flic Condron" using my surname would have been acceptable. I suspect it was someone unhappy with me removing them from a forum I manage or who dislikes me challenging racism on Facebook. My nickname was a security measure from my time as a police officer, and I prefer not to display my full name publicly. This situation is particularly distressing on my father's birthday, as I am mourning his passing. Having to deal with this because someone mistakenly reported my nickname is exhausting and frustrating.

Yesterday around 7:59 PM Singapore time, I received a message on Messenger from someone pretending to be Hema Saravanan, asking for my contact number. Since we were classmates and mostly stayed in touch through Facebook rather than phone, I didn't think twice and provided my phone number. Shortly after sharing my number, I received an SMS with a Facebook reset code. When I checked my Facebook and Messenger, I realized I had been logged out. I tried to reset my password using my details, but it seems the scammer had already changed my registered email address and possibly the phone number too. My contacts also received similar messages through Messenger, pretending to be me and asking for their contact numbers. I'm struggling to regain access to my account. Yesterday, on the evening of October 15th, [redacted], around 19:00 hours, I encountered an issue while trying to log in to my Facebook account. A message appeared stating that my account has been disabled for violating Facebook's terms and conditions. I am puzzled as I am unaware of any actions that might have led to this. There were no unusual activities on my account yesterday, except for following a link related to PUBG Mobile, which redirected me to a webpage requiring Facebook login. In January [redacted], I deactivated my Facebook page while preparing for an exam before my scheduled C-section. When I attempted to log back in from the hospital, I discovered my password had been changed without my knowledge. Despite my efforts, I couldn't recover it as my original email linked to the account was inaccessible. I have valuable photos and videos, especially of my late grandmother and daughter, stored in that account. While I created a new Facebook page using Gmail, I'm eager to regain access to my old account to retrieve my personal data and delete it. I urgently require assistance! It's been over a week, and I am still locked out of my Facebook account. The support I've been receiving is extremely lacking. A friend must have used my phone to log into their accounts, unintentionally logging me out of mine. Subsequently, I forgot my password and set a new one, only to encounter a two-factor authentication prompt that I did not establish. As a result, I am unable to access the code necessary to log in because I am already locked out of Facebook. Even requesting a text message with the code is futile since it goes to my old phone number. The frustration is overwhelming; this system is beyond exasperating! I desperately need assistance. - C.
