If you have a similar customer service issue, this page will help you find current, up-to-date answers and solutions too.
I recently updated my password, and I encountered issues with the subsequent steps for the password reset process. After entering the password reset code, I was prompted to set a new password. However, I encountered a roadblock when the system requested a 6-digit login code from the Code Generator, which I am unable to access due to my inability to log in. The system mentioned using a 3rd party app for the login code, but no app was displayed for me to utilize. Despite the system stating that the code would be sent via text message, I have not received any login code after multiple attempts. This problem persists whether I attempt to resolve it on my phone or laptop, and I am receiving a message indicating a new device each time I try to log in, even though I have used both devices to access Facebook previously. I reached out to Facebook's customer service via email, only to receive a response with identical instructions that I had already followed. Despite my phone's functionality and ability to receive texts from other sources, I am perplexed as to why I am not receiving any texts from Facebook.

Our Facebook page for the Barnard Charney Vladeck resident association, linked to [redacted], has been disabled. This page has served as a crucial platform for sharing notifications about service interruptions, weather updates, job postings, events, meetings, and community news since [redacted]. It's an essential tool for communication with residents and the resident association board. Despite submitting the required paperwork twice, the page was reinstated and then deactivated again after five days, with Facebook requesting the same documents. The situation is worrying as we are unable to keep residents informed about weather changes and center closures. Your assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I'm George Musorliev, and I'm trying to unblock my account. A few years ago, I blocked it using the trusted contacts option. I managed to get in touch with them. The first time I received the codes, I entered them but didn't receive the SMS that was supposed to give me the code. After requesting my trusted contacts a second time and changing the email address, it informed me that the codes were invalid. Upon a third attempt, it mentioned I was trying too frequently. Currently, it appears there's no way to unblock my account because my trusted friends seem to misunderstand the situation. I'm willing to provide proof of my identity, such as a photo of me with the computer on the specific page or any other verification method needed. My trusted contacts Vesela R., Velichka B., and Rada K. can confirm these details. Apologies for the poor English. I hope this issue can be addressed. Thank you.
Regards,
George Musorliev

I've been blocked from using Facebook Marketplace. The items in question were several golf outfits I was selling. The listing featured me wearing the outfits, which were costly but far from inappropriate. I simply wore a golf polo and skirt. Despite this, the post was flagged as sexually suggestive, which seems unjust. I need assistance as I can't remove my posts while blocked. To make matters worse, even though I'm unable to access Marketplace, my items still appear in search results under my name, violating my privacy. I insist on the ability to manage my posts and account content by removing the flagged posts and regaining access to Facebook Marketplace. Your help resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have encountered recurring blocking issues on my page (my poetic pulse) when trying to invite people who have liked my posts. Despite multiple attempts to reach out for assistance on rectifying this behavior, I have not received any responses.
The message prompting the block mentions that I've been 'going too fast', a reason that perplexes me. With around 18k people to invite, the process is understandably time-consuming. Is there an alternative method to invite all those who have liked my ad post? I have tried to slow down the clicking speed as suggested but continue to face blocks.
I seek guidance on preventing such blocks in the future and inquire about any simpler methods available to invite individuals to my page without the need to click on each button individually.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your prompt reply!

I currently have 'Editor' permissions on our business page on Facebook, but not 'Admin' permissions. My brother, who was the 'Admin,' has deleted his account, leaving me unable to use certain tools and features. I require the 'Admin' status to add other users to our page. Despite being the main contributor to the page's content and having made payments for Ad boosts using my credit card, I am unable to make necessary changes. My name is Kenneth Tirado, but on Facebook, I go by 'KT Alvarez.' Our business page is 'Streakin Ricans Empanadas.'
I have contacted Facebook several times with screenshots of the issue, but I only receive generic responses without any resolution. I prefer not to create a new page due to our existing followers and business growth. Your assistance in upgrading my permissions to 'Admin' would be greatly appreciated.

I am the legitimate owner of the Cebu Wanderlust Facebook page.
Someone sent me a link that turned out to be a phishing scam, granting them admin access through Facebook Business Manager. They removed me and my friends as admins.
I have tried contacting Facebook via an international hotline found online, but have not had any success. Articles suggest there is no direct human support for such issues.
I am desperate for assistance. We have dedicated four years of hard work to this page.
The individual is now demanding money from me to regain control of the page.
Attached are screenshots of our conversation. The first six screenshots are from the Page's inbox, with the following showing our chat on my personal account, where he started requesting payment.
I urge you to review your logs and history. I have been the true owner of this page since [redacted].
The page's URL has been altered, and ownership now belongs to a person in Vietnam.
Please, help me restore access!

My business account's Ad feature was disabled a few months ago.
I recently discovered that after running a Facebook ad campaign in March, I was going to be billed for the total "spend" in two separate payments in different months.
Unfortunately, during the same period, my CC information was compromised, resulting in unauthorized transactions from various places such as Uber and Nike. This led me to close my previous bank account and open a new one.
For the past 2 to 3 months, I've been attempting to pay the disputed amount to reactivate my ad feature. However, my credit union is unable to process the payment directly to Facebook.
I am eager to settle the payment and have my Ad feature re-enabled. How can I go about making the payment?
Thank you in advance.

Hello, I recently upgraded my phone and faced issues transferring my logged-in accounts. I've had my Facebook page for years, but can't access my original email to reset my password. I'm currently logged in on my old phone and tried various methods to regain access, without success. I also can't access my Instagram tied to the same email. My old email is [redacted], and I wish to update it to [redacted] I value the memories on my page and need it to connect with friends and family. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am not very familiar with Facebook. I created a few Facebook pages in the past out of curiosity and to look people up. I never used my real name and rarely posted. My current cell phone number was used for verification, associating it with multiple pages. Now, I have a photography business called Mattrobphotography and a corresponding email and Instagram. When I tried creating a legitimate Facebook page for my business, it got disabled or banned. Despite submitting my ID and pictures, I can't restore it. I then created mattrobphoto successfully but prefer to have mattrobphotography back. What can I do to fix this? Thank you, Matt.

I found a Christmas tree on Facebook Marketplace. We agreed on picking it up last Thursday after discussing three possible days, making arrangements for the 2-hour round trip. To secure the tree, I suggested paying a deposit, even though it wasn't mentioned in the ad. After transferring the deposit to the seller's account, I messaged her on Wednesday evening. The next day, around 1:00 pm, I asked to pick up the tree, but received no response despite following up. That evening, the seller abruptly informed me she was in London, causing difficulty in arranging the pickup. When I requested a refund of my deposit, she changed the ad to state it was non-refundable, which was not the case initially. I work hard for my money, and considering these changes, it feels unjust. I am unsure of my rights in this situation.

I have been using an account on Facebook under a pseudonym for years to protect my privacy. In light of concerns about Facebook's data practices, I want to retrieve some valuable old photos from the account before permanently deleting it. However, I wish to maintain the anonymity of my real identity during this process.
I still have access to the email associated with the account, and I believe the phone number linked to it is an outdated landline from another country over a decade ago. There is a possibility that my mobile number might be connected to the account, but I am unsure.
The email linked to my Facebook account is also used for my PayPal, eBay, bank, and Amazon accounts. While these platforms do not pose the same privacy concerns for me as Facebook does, as I feel my privacy is compromised since Facebook considers me as a commodity for trade.

I received a call from a suspicious number claiming I had multiple Facebook accounts and needed to secure them. After sending a code, I lost access to my account, and people reported that my hacked account was soliciting funds for a business deal, leading to friends being defrauded. Despite reporting to Facebook, they found no unusual activity. Currently locked out of the account, my friends who posted about the hack are also blocked. I hope Facebook can deactivate the account to stop the fraud, as approximately 10 people have been victims.

Hello,
I am Rosario Feliu, the sister of Santiago Feliu Sierra, a prominent Cuban musician who passed away five years ago. Multiple Facebook pages have been created for my brother, mainly by individuals in Cuba, including the Cuban government, seeking to control his digital image. Residing in the USA, I am working to preserve my brother's legacy. Despite creating a page for my brother, it was shut down. I have reached out to Facebook support, providing my passport, Green Card, and SSN to regain control of the page. I urge you to assist in recovering my brother's page and to remove unauthorized pages created in his memory. He is known as Santiago Feliu Sierra, sometimes simply as Santiago Feliu. Thank you for your cooperation.
Best regards,
Rosario F.

I recently received my BMO Mastercard statement and noticed a charge for $30.08 Canadian from Facebook YKSSKMWC62 in Merlo Park, CA. I reside in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and although I have a Facebook account, I rarely use it. The credit card company suggested it may be for advertising, but I don't have a business and hardly use Facebook. I am unsure about the charge, especially since the address is from Hacker Way. The charge occurred on Sept. 7th and was posted on the 9th. I am looking for a safe way to understand this charge without providing my credit card number. My phone number is [redacted], and I can be reached via email. Thank you for your assistance.

My Facebook account, which I've had for almost 9 years, was hacked. I created a new one a few days ago, but your team disabled it. I made another one today to regain access, but it was also taken down. I'm Jennifer Barrett. Please contact me at undercoverlover143hotmail.com or [redacted]. It's concerning that only my Facebook accounts are being affected by these hacks. I hope you can help me reactivate both accounts, as they have the same name and birthday. The first one, with me in all blue, and the other with an ocean greenish-blue shirt, have my photos.

Hello Facebook Team,
I recently reset my phone and unfortunately, when I reinstalled my apps, I noticed that my Facebook account and code authenticator were not signed in. While I attempted to log back into Facebook using the correct password, I was prompted to enter a code from my code authenticator app. The app, Duo, required me to reconnect my account to Facebook first in order to generate the code, which was not possible as I was unable to access my Facebook account.
After I reconnected my Duo account without linking it back to Facebook, the code it provided did not work when I tried to sign in. I have already uploaded a photo of myself with the code written on a sheet of paper along with my ID. Is there anything else I can do to assist in recovering my account?
Thank you for your assistance.
Regards,
Niquie

Hello, my name is Jennifer Barrett. In the last few years, especially recently, I have experienced hacking on my Facebook accounts. In October [redacted], between the 14th and 16th, I created two new Facebook accounts. The most recent one was disabled and taken away by your team, and now the same is happening to the current one. I had to create a new email account due to these issues. While others are not facing these problems, I seem to be targeted. Please get in touch with me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] Thank you for reading this, and I await your assistance. If I do not receive help, I will consider legal action against the company for failing to protect my account and others'. Your immediate help is greatly appreciated as I feel like I have no one else to turn to.

I am having trouble recovering my oldest Facebook account that was hacked. It's frustrating not being able to clearly identify the specific account affected. Social media is not something I need or want in my life, especially when someone is using my personal information recklessly. I have exhausted all my efforts through emails and I am beyond frustrated. I am considering contacting law enforcement as a last resort to reclaim my account. My inability to verify my own identity is distressing. I possess all the necessary details that I am prepared to share with the authorities to resolve this matter. If a prompt response is not received, legal action will be pursued. I urge you to fulfill your responsibilities and assist me in regaining access to my account.

On October 13th, [redacted], around 10:30 pm, I received an alert from the LogDog app on my phone indicating that my Facebook account was compromised. Following its instructions, I changed my password and logged out of all devices for security. However, upon trying to log back into Facebook, I encountered an issue with the two-factor authentication code, which I thought was disabled. Since my phone service is temporarily unavailable, I can only access Facebook through WiFi and cannot receive text messages. I am open to receiving the login code via email if possible. I am eager to verify my identity to regain access to my account securely. Thank you for your assistance and understanding during this frustrating situation.
