Today, when I logged into Facebook on 17 September [redacted], I received a notification from Chrome alerting me that my account was accessed from the United States, which is not where I am based. I immediately clicked on the option indicating that it wasn't me who logged in, as I am from South Africa and was not active on Facebook at that time. Realizing it was likely a hacker, I followed the prompt to change my password, which I did before logging out. However, upon trying to log back in with the new password, it kept showing as incorrect, even when attempting to use my old password. I am feeling stressed and frustrated as my personal account is now inaccessible. Moreover, I am unable to recover my account as the email and phone number associated with it are outdated, making it impossible to receive a verification code from Facebook for account recovery. I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue promptly to prevent unauthorized access to my profile, photos, and messages. Any guidance or support from Facebook to regain access would be greatly valued.

Hi there, Recently, my Facebook account was disabled, and I was unsure as to why. After some reflection, I realized that I had shared a video that violated Facebook's community standards by sending it to a friend. While I knew such content was not allowed to be posted on the platform, I was unaware it also applied to private messages. I deeply regret this oversight. This account has been my primary one for over 7 years, holding many cherished memories, photos, articles, and videos during that time. I am kindly requesting the reactivation of my account or the option to download my Facebook data. Losing access has been distressing as it means losing touch with friends. Hello! I created a Facebook account on 6-29-19 but can't recall if I confirmed it via the email link. I logged in once a few days later but not again until Sep 5, [redacted], when I found my account disabled. Following the prompts, I submitted my ID for verification twice, on Sep 5 and Sep 12. After each upload, I was told to expect an email within 2-7 days but haven't received one. I'm seeking clarification on why my account was disabled, if it can be reactivated, and what the solution is if reactivation is not possible (e.g., creating a new account). Facebook's policy is one account per person, so I want to ensure compliance. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to ask your company to remove all website articles regarding my arrest in April [redacted]. Following a successful Polygraph test, absence of hallway video evidence (related to alleged touching), and conflicting statements by witnesses on recorded videos, the case was dismissed via Pre-Trial Diversion with confidentiality. Hello, I hope you're having a good day! I'm reaching out to inform you that my live-in partner's Facebook account has been hacked. We've been unable to access the account since the other day, even though we haven't changed anything, not even the password. Every time I try to log in, a message pops up saying, "Seems like the password you entered was your previous password, please enter the current password." Unfortunately, there are some important documents that were sent using that Facebook account. We truly haven't altered anything, not even the password. I accidentally logged into Facebook using a UK-based VPN while still logged in with my Cyprus-based mobile number. Now, my account has been locked. To unlock it, I need to receive a security code on my mobile number, but Facebook only has it without the country code (+[redacted]), so I can't receive the code. The second option is to confirm my ID on another computer, but the security code is sent to the same incomplete number. I've already sent my photo ID to Facebook but haven't received any acknowledgment or further advice. I'm worried that the name on my account ('Nick') doesn't match the full name on my ID ('Robert Nicholas'). I feel stuck in a Catch-22 situation.

Hello, I recently acquired a new prepaid phone SIM card as I gave up my old number. In the past, I used my old number to log in to the Facebook mobile app. However, after I tried logging in with my new number, I discovered that someone else seemed to have access to my account. It appears that my account may have been hacked or impersonated, possibly due to the recycling of my old number. Despite the photos being changed, my profile details like work information and address remain the same. I attempted to verify my identity by submitting my ID to Facebook, but the email I used to register long ago was not recognized, and I have also forgotten the password. Unfortunately, the person using my account even messaged me without my knowing them. I have since deleted the old account but would like to retrieve some information and photos from it. I am wondering how Facebook can assist in recovering my hacked account and what steps I should take to provide the necessary information to do so. Thank you.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding the Facebook account of the late family member Jesse Darnell Rainey, known as Tha Real Jack. He passed away on August 27, [redacted]. Unfortunately, his account was accessed by a woman he was dating, Trish Brown (Peanut) from Saginaw, Michigan, who unauthorizedly took over his account, deleted and blocked family members, and made herself his legacy contact using his obituary screenshot without proper consent. These changes were made after his passing without approval from Jesse or his legal next of kin, his grandmother. We are deeply hurt by this intrusion and wish to have the page restored to its original state to cherish the memories Jesse shared. We possess evidence of Ms. Brown's threats to block and restrict our access on the account. We are struggling to resolve this with her, and any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I was locked out of my Facebook account and encountered a security check two days ago. After much trial and error, I discovered a user-friendly tip to receive the SMS code for password reset via Safari instead of Google Chrome. Despite managing to reset my password, the security check keeps alerting me that I'm using the feature incorrectly due to not receiving the 6-digit code. It's frustrating that Facebook lacks live chat support, unlike Apple Inc. Hello, my name is Jeremy R., and my Facebook account has recently been disabled. I am unsure why it happened, but I suspect it's related to a suspicious account named Jazmine R. that I only interacted with on Messenger. I've never met this person in real life. I believe this account might be involved in reporting mine, which resulted in my account being disabled. I am unable to log in now, which is quite frustrating. My Facebook, Messenger, and Gmail accounts seem to have disappeared. I have tried various methods to restart them but with no success. I received a code in Gmail yesterday to reset my Facebook account, but the process seems unfamiliar. Facebook is asking me to use a picture to change my password, which I am hesitant to do. I've attempted to contact Facebook customer support for two days, but the responses appear automated, and they are requesting a $5.00 fee for assistance, which I cannot pay as I do not have a credit or debit card, only cash or postal money orders. I did have a positive experience chatting with someone named A in the past. I am struggling to reset my account as it does not accept my phone number linked to the account. I am unsure where to turn for help as Facebook support requires payment. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My previous phone is being repaired due to a technical issue, and I am unable to access the number associated with it. After switching to TMobile, I obtained a new phone number. However, I am facing difficulty logging into my account because verification codes are being sent to my old number. My husband assisted me by logging into my account from his phone and updating the number to my new one. Although I have received texts from FB, I am not able to use the login code sent to me. FB is now restricting me from requesting another code due to multiple attempts. I have faced this issue in the past, resulting in creating a new account which I still cannot access after 2 years. Unfortunately, the same problem is now occurring with my latest account. I am frustrated and would appreciate assistance in accessing my most recent account, or ideally finding a way to merge my two accounts.

Hello, I am a group page admin for Mother Natures Secrets 4 People & Pets on Facebook. Unfortunately, our page has been "temporarily blocked" since 8/28/19. I have reached out to Facebook to request the unblocking of the page or at least some information on when this suspension will be lifted, but I have not received a response yet. The block was due to unknowingly sharing a "fake" post, and since then, I have taken steps to fact-check all content before sharing to prevent this issue in the future. I am eager to resume working with the members of my group and avoid losing them due to this situation. If the page cannot be unblocked immediately, I kindly ask for an update on when this restriction will be lifted as it has been almost a month. About a year ago, I organized a fundraiser on Facebook for my birthday in early October. While the concept was fantastic, the process after the donations were made was confusing. The Bill Foundation received two payments from an unknown organization, and there was no acknowledgment that the donations were in honor of my birthday. When I contacted them to inquire about the donations, they were unaware of any contribution from Facebook. There was no record of my name or any indication that the funds came from Facebook or the intermediary organization. I suggest improving the transparency of how funds are allocated by mentioning the individual who directed the Facebook donations. Resolving this issue took nearly a year, which is an unreasonably long time. I urge you to consider updating your procedures for better efficiency. Thank you.

Hello, I recently shared a photo from one Facebook group to another and have noticed that my account has been banned for 30 days as a result. The picture I shared was already on Facebook and had been deemed acceptable before I reposted it. I often share photos this way without any issues. I feel unfairly penalized for something that was previously allowed on the platform. I am frustrated by this ban and would like to file a formal complaint. It seems contradictory for Facebook to punish me for reposting a photo that was already approved on the site. I request that my account be reinstated, and I believe an apology is warranted in this situation. I used my actual email and current phone number for both accounts, complicating the process to recover my preferred account. I have noticed that Facebook has been deducting payments from my card. I made a donation to a research hospital, which has now ended. Additionally, a promotion on Instagram has finished as well. Recently, I mistakenly clicked on "boost my post" for my music page through my phone and couldn't figure out how to cancel it. I tried to pay it once, thinking it would stop, but Facebook has charged me approximately 30 USD from my bank account, and I am confused about it. I would appreciate some clarification or a refund for this charge.

I received a notification stating that my ads profile got disabled by Facebook due to unusual activity, which my bank confirmed as not existing. Despite an email this morning confirming the restoration of my ad promotion feature, I am still unable to use it. This is crucial for my bookings as an entertainer, and I can't even add a payment option on Instagram or Facebook.
