Hello, I was advised to add a photo of myself to my profile, but I prefer not to use my real name to avoid online harassment. I've chosen the username "Hanaemi Cat" for now. However, I am concerned about my safety and privacy. Is there a way to keep my account secure without showing my face? I've had trouble with people using my photos to create fake accounts. Please note that the email associated with any other account than "Hanaemi Cat" is not mine. I value my privacy and have faced misunderstandings and rumors in the past. Facebook blocked my account because I posted different websites in groups. I tried to verify my account with a phone code, but it is asking me to upload a new photo. Despite multiple attempts and submission of the "Defamatory Complaint Form" to address this matter, I have only received automated responses acknowledging the receipt of my complaints without any resolution. The spreading of this false and slanderous information has serious legal implications and falls under the Criminal Code of Ecuador. Therefore, as the responsible party, I urge Facebook to take immediate action to remove the defamatory content and the entire page to prevent further damage. I have already taken legal action in my country against those individuals responsible for this malicious act and seek your cooperation in resolving this issue promptly. I am experiencing so much frustration. Clicking on the help center redirects me to the log-in page for Facebook. Then, when selecting the desired account, it leads me to a security check where I can't input the code since it was sent to my old phone number. I attempted to change it weeks ago in my profile, but I could only add my new number, not delete the old one. I have two accounts; one I recently started using and now it's blocked, requesting a photo which I provided. However, as I never used that account before, there are no pictures in it. I've sent over 50 messages since yesterday. Why can't we have the option to speak with a real person or avoid such issues altogether? This previously happened to me two years ago, resulting in the loss of an account that was over 10 years old. It seems unfair. Facebook could easily assist by allowing me back into my account without exploiting my situation, especially since I did nothing wrong initially. This has led to significant financial losses for me, making me consider giving up. Thank you for your help.

A year ago, my Facebook account was suddenly logged out, and I couldn't log back in. Despite trying my phone number and email for security measures, none worked. I even bought a new phone and used my old number but still couldn't access it. Recently, I created a new account, but now it's saying my new password is incorrect, and my email and phone number don't match. I need help getting back into my account to retrieve years of my children's photos. Despite having the same email and phone number for a while, it's claiming they're not linked to my account. My Facebook account was hacked about three weeks ago. The hacker emailed me login details to regain control, which I successfully did. But after a week, while logging in on my computer, a message appeared about suspicious activity. I submitted my ID, but my account got disabled without any response. Repeated attempts to contact Facebook failed, even creating a new account faced the same issue. I believe Facebook must improve their customer service, address cases promptly, and reinstate my account since I have not violated any policies.

Hello, I have been using my Facebook account for many years. Unfortunately, I forgot the password that I changed to around 9 months ago. The email address associated with the account is no longer in use, and I can't remember the details for that either. I'm unable to access the email to reset my password. I changed the password because I was worried someone had accessed my account, but I didn't write down the new password. I would appreciate any help as I am a full-time caregiver for my son and rely on Facebook to stay connected with friends and family since I don't get out much. I set up an account using a false first name to avoid a stalker creating fake accounts from locating me. Although my account details match me exactly, Facebook won't allow access without identity verification. I'm stuck without any verification options, and if they require ID, I fear my account will be disabled due to the fake first name.

I received an email stating that one of my Facebook friends reported someone for pretending to be me. The email mentioned that they take these reports seriously and will review the profile. I mostly use Facebook for private purposes and rarely post publicly. I am concerned about why this email was sent and what it implies. I hope that Facebook focuses on addressing real issues like harmful content rather than targeting harmless users. I am unable to reset my Facebook password because the phone number linked to my account is no longer in service. I contacted my phone provider, but they couldn't give me back the number as it's been reassigned. I am concerned that someone with my old number could access my account since the reset codes are being sent there. Every time I try to open Business Manager, I keep getting a message prompting me to set up Two-Factor Authentication. Unfortunately, the codes generated by my phone and Google Authenticator never seem to work, constantly giving me an "incorrect code" error. This issue has prevented me from accessing my business pages successfully, and I've been finding it frustrating. I'm now considering deleting my Business Manager account due to this problem, but I've been unable to do so because of the Two-Factor Authentication requirement. Despite my attempts on various devices using different methods like Google Authenticator and SMS codes, I haven't had any luck. I've already reached out to Facebook about this, hoping they can assist in deleting my account or disabling the Two-Factor Authentication until I can resolve it. It's been a week, and I'm still encountering this issue.

I bought two new iPhone XR's for my girlfriend and myself. When logging into Facebook on our new phones, I noticed my phone works better in the part of the house with weaker WiFi. My girlfriend enjoys going live on Facebook occasionally, so she uses my phone for better signal, then I switch back to my account. I also logged into my Facebook on my new PS4, not sure if that's causing issues. My old disconnected phone only worked on WiFi with my old number on Facebook. I added my new phone recently, which might be why I'm not getting codes for identity verification. Can I get some help with this issue?

I received a Facebook request from an individual named Lilly Nel, whom I accepted due to my sales job and extensive contacts. Unfortunately, this person, who seems to be an African man possibly Nigerian, obtained my phone number from my account. He started sending threatening voice notes via WhatsApp, demanding money and threatening to share manipulated images of me and my wife on social media, claiming he has access to my contact list. Despite explaining that I do not have funds until the end of the month, he insisted on payment by the 31st of August. Feeling fearful, I deactivated my social media accounts, including my Facebook where I connected with the fake account under the name Marin Mazz Berkovic. The phone number he used to message me is [redacted]. I am considering involving the police, as I want to prioritize my family's safety and stay away from social media.

I recently switched cellphone carriers from Verizon to T-Mobile. Since then, I have been experiencing issues with being logged out of accounts and prompted to reset passwords and security questions, especially on Facebook. Unfortunately, I am unable to log in because my Facebook account is linked to an extremely old email address from high school, [redacted] I believe I updated it to a more current email but I am having trouble recovering the Yahoo email to reset my Facebook login. Yahoo is requesting verification through a phone number I no longer remember due to past circumstances. I need assistance resolving this issue promptly. It is frustrating when saved passwords are not easily accessible after account changes.

I am unable to access my Facebook account. On April 9th, [redacted], my tributes to my brother were removed after several unauthorized access instances. The person responsible for removing the information is a police officer which feels like a personal attack. Due to excessive bullying on the platform, I decided to delete my account, which was meant to be deactivated by May 17th, [redacted]. However, I later found out that it was still active. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unsuccessful in accessing my account, which contains my personal photos and information. I have informed many people not to interact with this account as it is causing distress to my late brother's family and myself. My Facebook profile, managed by Nishat Ara, was hacked last Wednesday. The hacker changed the email address and password. I made several attempts to recover the account by following the necessary steps and even submitted my ID to Facebook for identity verification. However, their response was disappointing. They sent me a generic email stating that the issue has been resolved when, in fact, my account is still compromised. I feel frustrated because the hacker is misusing my account, and I don't know what else to do.
