Hello,
I am having trouble with my Facebook account. I cannot log in, even after resetting my password and updating my profile. When I try, the page keeps redirecting but nothing appears. I have tried clearing extensions, changing browsers, and more, but it still doesn't work properly. I am unable to log in to manage my page, update my real profile, or verify my identity. I am considering deleting my account and starting over. However, when I try to create a new account with my email, it says "email already exists," preventing me from proceeding. Should I wait 30 days for the old account to be completely deleted before creating a new one, or is there a way to create a new account now? Please let me know what information you need to verify my identity. Thank you.

My Facebook account was hacked, and the password was changed. I've been locked out for over two days now. The listed email is old, and the phone number is correct but not receiving the verification code properly. After going through the steps to prove my identity, I have not received the email to unlock my account as promised within 30 minutes. I even tried the three-person verification code method with no success. This situation is frustrating due to someone else hacking my account.

I experienced a hacking incident where my password was altered. Despite following the necessary steps for a password reset, I encountered some issues. The email address linked to reset my password is outdated, and the phone number provided is correct but has an additional +1 in front, preventing me from receiving the text messages. Although I completed the identity verification process and updated my email address, I remain locked out of my account. It has been over 24 hours since these changes, and the confirmation email has yet to be sent, leaving me unable to confirm it. I am unable to repeat the verification process or input the three codes again as the system recognizes my email address as part of an existing reactivation case. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue promptly.

I recently received an email notification that my friend had responded to me on Facebook. Typically, when I open the email, it directs me to my Facebook without any issues. However, this time I was prompted to enter my password, which I found unusual. After a few unsuccessful attempts with different passwords, my account was disabled, and I was asked to verify my identity by providing various forms of identification, including a picture of my driver's license. I converted the picture into a JPEG file and uploaded it to Facebook through the Help Center. After submitting the image, I was informed that I would receive an email shortly. It has been over a day, and I have yet to receive any correspondence, and I am still locked out of my account. I am concerned that my account may have been compromised. I have valuable family photos and data on there that I cannot afford to lose. My name is Scott Y., and I reside in Campbell, CA. I am eager to regain access to my account.

I am looking to consolidate my business pages. I want to merge my Lynn Carberry page with my Girl At The Gig Page (@girlatthegigglasgow) since they cover similar topics. Girl At The Gig is my main brand page, and I want to operate under that. Despite not actively posting on Lynn Carberry, I want to retain its existing likes and connections. I've attempted merging the pages, but I keep receiving an error message saying they are not part of the same business manager account. I am the admin and creator of both pages. I'm hesitant to delete either page as I want to combine Lynn Carberry into Girl At The Gig. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I feel stuck and would like to avoid losing followers. Thank you. - L.

While I was in the hospital for over a week, my Facebook account got hacked. Upon returning, I discovered a new email address and unfamiliar friends on my profile. I deleted the unknown email and removed the friends I couldn't recognize or pronounce. However, my account was unexpectedly disabled and closed. I'm unsure why this happened as I tried to restore it to its previous state prior to my hospitalization. Losing access to my account has caused me distress, especially since there were special pictures from my past marriage that I can't recreate due to divorce. I'm hoping to have my original account reinstated rather than creating a new one, as the memories and connections on there are irreplaceable. The hacking incident has compromised my privacy, and I urge the platform to investigate and rectify this situation promptly. You can reach me at [redacted] for any updates or resolution efforts. Thank you for addressing this matter with urgency and respect for my privacy.

Hello, I'm Horatio Hubbard. I need assistance accessing my original Facebook account, which I have had since [redacted]. This week, I had to reset my password multiple times to log in. Initially, I used my Yahoo email ([redacted]) to create the account, but due to inactivity, Yahoo canceled it. Previously, I could log in using my phone number or password, and even my name, without issues. Recently, I've been prompted to reset the password and choose between receiving a 6-digit code via Yahoo email or text message. Unfortunately, the option to receive the code via text is no longer available for my original Facebook account. I seek help to avoid using the new Facebook account that lacks my picture.

I came across an ad on Facebook about a month ago for an "Ultra Portable Folding Power Wheelchair" priced at $[redacted]. After clicking on the ad and being redirected to what seemed like a legitimate website, I made the purchase using my American Express credit card. I received two confirmation emails - one for the purchase and another for the shipping of the item. When I tried to track the shipment a few days later, the website was no longer accessible, showing an error message instead.
Returning to the original Facebook ad led me to the same non-functional website. I was disappointed to find that Facebook offers no direct customer support, only a community forum. This lack of proper assistance from Facebook is concerning, especially considering the fraudulent ads they allow on their platform. The absence of contact information and the reliance on a community forum for issue resolution seems like an inadequate way for Facebook to address problems arising from their ads.

Hello Facebook Team,
I believe there has been a mistake with your security system as my account was disabled without any valid reason. I am providing my Indian government ID card, college mark sheet, and ID card details to verify my identity and request the reopening of my account promptly. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.
Best regards.

My Facebook account was hacked about 6 months ago. I have been trying to regain access to my page, but the hacker changed the email and password, preventing me from logging in. They are using my photos to deceive others, requesting money from my friends and their contacts. I have sent multiple messages seeking assistance, including leaving my phone number, but have not received any help. Please help me regain control of my account. Thank you. - EH

Dear Community Members,
I recently experienced an unexpected issue with my account. Despite having a 30-day ban that was scheduled to conclude on August 17th, my account vanished without any prior notice or opportunity to appeal. This account held sentimental value as it contained nine years' worth of memories, including precious photos and messages from my late father and two dear departed friends. Unfortunately, I had not backed up this valuable content. I am disheartened by the loss of these memories and connections. I have observed that others make more severe comments without facing consequences, adding to my frustration.
I kindly request the restoration of my account, even if I must complete the remaining duration of my ban. I have decided to disengage from political discussions on the platform. My profile name is Mirielle Chafer (Marie Chafer). Reuniting with the memories of my loved ones, specifically my late father, is my primary motivation.
I appreciate your time and consideration in addressing this matter promptly.
Thank you,
Mirielle Chafer

I just completed a survey that was sent out to a select group of customers. I believe that the questions asked may not be capturing the diversity of reasons people use Facebook. With 40 years of experience in communications and advertising, I can see that the focus on young urban professionals may be limiting. Living in a quiet area on the Sunshine Coast of BC as a baby boomer, I feel that there is a significant demographic worth targeting. Many individuals in my age group are hesitant due to privacy concerns, but platforms like Facebook allow us to share important stories effortlessly. Despite being 66, I see the value in documenting and sharing memories for future generations. While the impact may seem minimal on a larger scale, it holds great significance for my family and friends.

I have encountered a concerning situation with an individual on Facebook. They were previously incarcerated for grooming my child when he was twelve years old. Despite being released from prison, they are now active on Facebook and have posted a picture of my house on their profile, as well as my child's full name in comments. Despite reporting this, Facebook has stated it does not violate community standards. This individual is also on the arc offenders register until [redacted]. I am troubled by his activities on the platform, including taking pictures near children's graves and discussing disturbing topics with his friends. He is using the name Paul Escott but has also been known as Paul Scott and Paul Etherington.

I created a Facebook account for my daughter last year. Recently, I checked her account settings to see if there were any active sessions from different locations in the Philippines, similar to what happened with my own account. I managed to sort out my Facebook account, but now I'm unable to do the same for my daughter's account because I forgot which email address I had linked it to. I attempted to reset the password, but upon entering the new password, I was unsuccessful as it kept saying it was incorrect. I then tried another password reset but was unsuccessful in regaining access. I sincerely hope you can assist me in retrieving my daughter's account, as it holds sentimental value to me. Yvainne Chrislaure Cobitan-Ong's Facebook account is essential as it documents my first baby's milestones. Please advise on the necessary steps to take. Thank you and God bless.

I encountered an issue while using Facebook. Despite multiple attempts to reach out through emails, the problem persists with a breach of privacy and threats to me and my child. I have resorted to seeking help from the ombudsman and considering legal action. The individual causing harm has even obtained my location through the app. Despite reaching out to Facebook, I have received no assistance or response to address the situation.

I encountered an issue when trying to access my Facebook account on my phone. Despite attempting to receive a verification code via text multiple times, I never received it. When I switched to my work computer, the two-factor authentication prompt appeared, and after requesting a code via text, I received multiple texts with the same invalid code. Following instructions to verify my identity with a government ID did not resolve the problem. Despite receiving a code via text recently, it was also deemed invalid upon login attempts. The option to verify through identifying friends led to a dead end as codes were neither sent nor functional. The reset password process and activity verification proved futile as suspicion of unusual activity in my ad account prevented me from progressing further, although I am not currently running any ads.

I have been using my Facebook account for 11 years, and it has now been deactivated without any explanation. This account holds precious photos of my children and my late niece. Despite using the platform for entering giveaways, I recently faced harassment which I reported. I deeply rely on this account to stay connected with friends and family, especially my son who I haven't spoken to in a year. The private memories of loved ones who have passed away are also stored there. I am reaching out for assistance in reactivating my account as it is a vital communication tool for me. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently requested Facebook to rename a page I manage for my documentary. After providing proof for the name change related to the film, they updated it incorrectly to Green Hills, Jamaica instead of Green Hills as requested. I am now unable to address this through the previous channels and cannot edit it myself. Can anyone offer assistance to rectify this minor change from Green Hills, Jamaica to Green Hills, by removing a word and a comma?

My 81-year-old senior citizen, who is new to using Facebook, accidentally deleted our Facebook page. It contained precious photographs from weddings, travels worldwide, and family moments coming to the U.S. The historic pictures, some uploaded from cell phones, have all been lost. I kindly request assistance in recovering the pictures for my mother, who is heartbroken to have lost our family heritage. She longs to see her childhood photos from Europe before WWII. We greatly appreciate the Facebook Team's support in helping us. Your help would mean the world to us. Sincerely, the caregiver for Madam I. Chudio. A. Shebinsky.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S10e and am seeking help with a concerning issue. Multiple people have notified me about potential hacking activity on my Facebook account. Specifically, a friend received messages on Messenger appearing to be from me, promoting a money-winning opportunity. Another acquaintance received an unsolicited message from my account, which is not typical of my communication style. I am unsure about the best course of action. Should I temporarily deactivate my Facebook account (not sure how to do this) and create a new one later? Additionally, I would like advice on how to prevent similar incidents in the future.
