Hello, I manage a page called Throw Bag Productions, a comedian page with fire department-based satirical content. Initially, the name was chosen based on a viral video I created but now I feel that Firefighter Fenton would better reflect my individual identity as a content creator. With over [redacted] followers, I am close to reaching 10k. Despite not changing my content, my request to change the name was rejected for being misleading. I aim to maintain the connection with my followers while accurately representing myself with the new name. I seek assistance in making this change without resetting my progress towards monetizing my content. Your help in this matter would be much appreciated. Thank you, Brent F.

I have been a guest on Daytime TV for several years and unfortunately, I have recently been dealing with a persistent Facebook stalker. This individual has created two separate pages, one under my name and the other using the name of a character I portrayed. They have been impersonating me and causing confusion among my friends and colleagues. Recently, the stalker has started targeting my daughter, making false accusations about her on social media. My daughter, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is at risk of losing her job and license due to these malicious claims. The stalker has been using Messenger to reach out to my contacts as well as my daughter's friends. The stalker's profile is under the name Gina Gina with a white bird as the profile picture. I am reaching out for assistance in putting a stop to this harmful behavior before it escalates any further. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

After not using my Facebook page since [redacted], I logged in to update my personal information. However, Facebook prompted me to verify my identity due to logging in from an unfamiliar location. I clicked to continue and was asked to select friends to send me verification codes. Unfortunately, of the 5 people listed, I only recognize one person, my cousin. This situation is a nightmare as I don't want unwanted contacts from past connections. My main goal is to remove photos of my late daughter from the page. Despite still having access to my old email, I no longer have the previous phone number. I managed to add my current number before being locked out of the account.

Hello, my name is Frederick Terri. I have a Facebook account, like many others. Yesterday, a friend messaged me about a person who checks if you have any unclaimed money. I added this person, and they messaged me on Messenger, pressuring me to share personal information about myself and my family. I refrained, but unfortunately, my friend shared information. Today, I learned from my friend that this is a major scam that has affected his credit. This is not a joke; it is a serious scam aimed at stealing money. Please investigate this individual named T'resa Johnson, who claims to be a claiming director at an online claiming agent in Savannah, Georgia. I urge you to take action, possibly involving law enforcement, as these scammers are operating on your platform. Please treat this matter seriously. Thank you.

I'm having issues accessing my original profile under the username [redacted] A few weeks back, I got locked out and received a message mentioning a possible impersonation attempt, which I would never do at 86 years old. My granddaughter, using the email [redacted], submitted my license photo as requested, but we haven't heard back from Facebook within the 72-hour window. A temporary account "ClaraMae" was also set up but got suspended quickly without a reason provided. I am concerned about why these actions were taken and need guidance on how to regain access to my account and prevent future problems. Kindly reach out to my granddaughter via email ([redacted]) for further assistance.

I am struggling to access my Facebook account because I deleted the email associated with it and no longer have the linked phone number. I attempted to use my NYS Driver's license to verify my identity and reset the password, but I keep getting blocked after receiving the reset link via email. Facebook is now telling me I tried signing in too many times and need to wait before trying again. Despite not sending multiple requests, the system won't allow me to redo the process. I urgently need assistance resetting my password so I can update my email once I regain access. Thank you for your help.

My relative Avishek Sengupta has been coping with a chronic mental disorder since childhood, and his parents are also affected. They sought medical help in Kolkata through a well-respected doctor recommended by a family friend. To my dismay, Avishek recently made hurtful comments about me on Facebook under the name Dipankar Sengupta. Despite his accusations of inappropriate behavior, it’s important to clarify that such actions are baseless as I have never met his wife in person, let alone engaged in any flirtatious behavior. He even created a fake Facebook account solely to harass me. I have chosen not to engage in negativity as it goes against community standards. Avishek’s behavior, likely influenced by his mental health condition, is unacceptable. I only wish for his recovery. If any actions can be taken regarding this matter, I leave it in your hands. - Dipankar Sen

My Facebook account has been disabled, once again! I went to their Help page and submitted my information along with proof of ID, my driver's license. I blacked out my address as it is unnecessary for them to have that information. I was uncomfortable sending this online, but I had no choice if I want my Facebook account back. Despite submitting the information twice over 3 weeks ago, I have not received any response from Facebook, not even an acknowledgment of receiving my info. I could create another account, but I keep getting disabled, which is frustrating as I am part of a closed group on Facebook. I've created 3 accounts, and they all get disabled. It would be easier if we could join a Gmail account with Facebook or vice versa. I just want my Facebook account reinstated. I have provided proof of ID, what more do they require?

I'm having trouble accessing my account because my phone numbers and email are not working for password recovery. Despite attempting to create a new password, I do not want to lose my account progress. I suspect I started the account with the email [redacted] and would like to update notifications to my Gmail instead. It's crucial for me to retain all the information on my Facebook profile. I find it odd that neither of my phone numbers nor emails are recognized by the system. Although I am receiving emails at [redacted], I am unable to reset my password. Could this signify a security breach on my account?

I created my Facebook account in [redacted], but I lost my cell phone with the number [redacted] and didn't have any saved information. When I tried to reset my password, the codes were being sent to an old email address, [redacted], that I couldn't change. I was prompted to get a code from three friends, but then a friend messaged me about winning $[redacted],[redacted] through Facebook by buying an iTunes card from Walmart. Before I could sort it out, my account got locked, but not before showing my uncle, Judge John G. from Spartanburg, that his account was hacked. Dealing with passwords is tough for me due to my epilepsy. I really need access to my Facebook and any help would be appreciated. Thank you. My number is [redacted].

Hi. I am currently struggling to regain access to my 10-year-old account after receiving multiple email notifications regarding a potential security breach. Although I swiftly changed my password and saved it using a password manager, I find myself locked out of my account after switching from an Apple to an Android device. Despite my efforts to log back in using different passwords, I have been unsuccessful due to not having access to the reset code, as my phone number has changed. I have tried to provide my date of birth (9/26/[redacted]) for verification without success. I recently discovered the option to enlist three friends for help in recovering the account, but it appears this feature is disabled. I am wondering if there is a way to enable this or any other assistance you can offer. I am willing to provide a selfie with my ID and Social Security card to validate my identity. It is distressing to lose access to my account containing messages from deceased friends and valuable content. Your support in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

I opened my Facebook account back in [redacted] using a different email address (blackberry) that I no longer have access to. Since then, I've changed sim cards and lost my old number. At some point, my account was compromised, and I had to change my password. Usually, I would select the "remember password" option, but accidentally disabled it. I've tried to recover my password by indicating that I no longer have access to the old email address, leading me to a page where Facebook asks for trusted contacts that unfortunately cannot help me. To regain access, I've reached out to Facebook support, providing a clear photo of my South African driver's license, my current profile picture, and a bank account statement. I've also updated my profile with my new contact number, [redacted]. If there are any alternative methods to help me recover my account, I would greatly appreciate the assistance. Warm regards, S. Michaels

I was banned for 6 days on April 6th after posting a photo of Allen Ginsberg on a beach as part of promoting a poetry reading in San Diego. Facebook took it down as offensive but provided no way to appeal. Ironically, Ginsberg's trial for obscenity charges opened literary doors, yet I was banned for a further 30 days when the photo was found again. I didn't repost it. This double penalty is unfair. The lack of transparency and dialogue in these decisions feels oppressive. Facebook's interpretation of community standards seems skewed and lacks nuance. Restore my account so I can pay tribute to Lori Kaye with my classmates. Allen Ginsberg deserves better. -Igor Goldkind

My daughter, H.C., is facing cyberbullying from a known individual, K.A.R., who is using multiple accounts to harass her on Facebook. Despite efforts to get Facebook to remove him, he continues to post harmful content about her without permission, as well as her photos. Both my ex-husband and I have involved the police, but they suggest Facebook needs to take action to stop the abuse. Despite repeated attempts to report him, he persists in harassing not only my daughter but also my family. We are all following the given instructions to address this issue, but he remains relentless. It is distressing for my daughter, who had to muster tremendous courage to leave him. The situation is urgent, and we are seeking assistance to put an end to this harassment on Facebook.
