I am concerned about a Facebook issue regarding my friend Ashok Chakraborty sharing my picture without permission on his profile. He has also shared other girls' pictures without consent. I reported the post and his profile to Facebook, blocked him, and do not want these privacy violations to cause issues in my life. I am a married woman and mother, and this unauthorized sharing is unacceptable to me. I hope Facebook takes appropriate action and removes the picture he shared of me. Thank you, Aparajita S.

I am a member of a political discussion group where some individuals engage in aggressive behavior instead of constructive debates. One particularly troublesome member claims expertise on every topic, but when challenged, he resorts to profanity and bullying tactics. This behavior not only discourages others but also reflects his own sensitivity to criticism. Recently, he crossed the line by using derogatory language and threatening me personally. He even attempted to use private information to harm my professional reputation, violating group guidelines. In response, he falsely accused me of hate speech multiple times, leading to my account suspension on Facebook. I am seeking full reinstatement of my account, a reset of the flag counter, and a thorough review of the reported individual's history of Facebook violations to address his inappropriate conduct.

While in college taking business classes, I created multiple Facebook accounts for assignments related to social media. After selecting one account to focus on, I recently got a new phone with the Facebook app installed. Upon logging in, all my phone contacts appeared as friend suggestions on my main Facebook page, which is linked to my business. This resulted in customers connecting with me on my personal profile instead of the business page. To resolve this, I reactivated an old account for personal use and designated my original account for business purposes. I am aware that Facebook guidelines permit only one account per person and I wish to avoid any deletions. Can someone advise me on how to prevent this mix-up? Thank you.

I recently received an email claiming to be from Facebook, stating that they had noticed I was having trouble signing in to my account. I am cautious about scams, so I did not proceed as it required me to enter my password for security checks. I typically access my account by tapping the Facebook icon on my home screen. I want to verify if this email is legitimately from Facebook and when this alleged sign-in issue occurred.

My friend's Facebook account got cloned, but I didn't realize it until it was too late. The person claimed there was a government program aiding low-income individuals, promising $[redacted],[redacted] in exchange for $1,[redacted] in gift cards. Realizing it was a scam, I tried to access my Facebook account that same night, only to discover it was hacked; they changed my email, password, and maybe even my photo. The next morning, my best friend told me about the suspicious message, confirming my account had been compromised. This account holds precious pictures of my granddaughters, from birth to now. Despite attempting all troubleshooting steps to recover it, I've had no success. They've also tried extorting me through texts. I urge for assistance in reclaiming my Facebook account under Mindy Shelton or Mindy Margaret Shelton, with my former contact details being [redacted]. This distressing incident occurred on February 18, [redacted]. I've since secured a new phone number at [redacted] and a new email at [redacted] Thank you for considering my plea.

I have been using my Facebook account for a long time with the email “[redacted]”. I used to log in with my GMail account, but I switched the login handle to the @inbox.com email address a few years ago. Recently, when I tried to log in after not using it for a while, I forgot my password. I had changed both the email and the password due to some suspicious activity in the past. When I tried to log in again, I found out the [redacted] account had been deleted. Now, when I tried to recreate the email, Facebook was not allowing new accounts due to a system upgrade that has been on hold for three years. I can provide any verification needed, like my Illinois Driver's License, to prove that I am the owner of the [redacted] account. I appreciate your help in resolving this matter. Thank you. Contact me at my personal email for further assistance.

A member in a discussion group has a habit of being aggressive and bullying when challenged. If the bullying fails, they rally friends to target the person for more abuse and then report the victim to Facebook, twisting responses as evidence. The bullies manipulate situations to portray themselves as victims and even delete posts to falsely claim mistreatment. I was unfairly given a 30-day ban because this person reported harmless posts as harassment or hate speech. They are now lamenting the inability to access my personal information and are trying to undermine me by posting school schedules. I request the ban to be lifted, the individual removed from Facebook, and all previous reports to be reset.

My account has been hacked. Someone is pretending to be me and using my personal information to post photos and change my password. I am unable to access my Facebook account. Please address this issue urgently to stop this individual. I am aware of this person's claim that he can access any Facebook account. This is a serious matter; I have informed the police, and they have recommended contacting Facebook promptly to deactivate my account.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address the unfortunate disabling of my Facebook account, which includes the pages I manage. The lack of specific details regarding the alleged violation of Facebook's policies is concerning. I have been an active Facebook user for over a decade and my content primarily focuses on analytical commentary regarding global affairs, particularly in South Asia. As a respected political analyst featured in various media outlets and international organizations, I am dedicated to promoting peaceful discourse and human rights. I adamantly believe that my account was unjustly disabled, as my posts align with Facebook's guidelines by fostering awareness and promoting meaningful dialogue without inciting harm or violence. I urge you to reconsider the decision to disable my account without proper explanation or due process. It is essential for me to regain access to my account for personal and professional reasons, including the loss of valuable contacts and photos. I respectfully request the reactivation of my account and transparent clarification regarding the reason for its disablement to prevent similar issues in the future. Sincerely, Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur

I made a purchase on the Facebook marketplace for an iPhone 8 Plus totaling [redacted]$. Unfortunately, I believe I fell victim to a scam as I did not receive a tracking number and the item never arrived. Despite attempting to report the purchase following the buyers protection policy, I have been unsuccessful in getting assistance from Facebook. I provided all the necessary details, including the purchase I.D. and screenshots, but I am concerned about getting my money back. I rely on the buyer protection policy of Facebook marketplace, and this experience has left me feeling helpless.

I made a purchase of boots on JustFab.com back in October or November of [redacted]. However, I recently realized that my credit card was charged multiple times without my permission in October [redacted], November [redacted], December [redacted], January [redacted], and February [redacted]. When I contacted JustFab customer service, they claimed I was a preferred customer, despite my only making one purchase from them. I noticed the charges were listed as utilities and bills for $39.95 each month. I never consented to these charges or signed up for a membership. This issue has left me feeling very frustrated. The advertisement I saw on Facebook had recommendations from friends who have never actually ordered from them, making me believe it's a fraudulent scheme. I later discovered that JustFab is based in the Philippines. I am reaching out for assistance in resolving this matter through Facebook and would appreciate speaking with someone at the company.

My phone got locked, I contacted Samsung for help unlocking it, but it was linked to an old account. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S8. I can't recall my password, but you can reach me via my email at [redacted], my address at [redacted] Forrest Ln., Corsicana, Texas, or at [redacted]. All I want is to regain access to my Facebook account with those cherished pictures. Kindly assist me in resolving this issue.

We share a joint account registered under PoppopandGrandmamaStubbs. Recently, we were notified to verify our identities, which initially confused us. In our response, we inadvertently used PoppopandGrandmama instead of Grandmama, leading to our account being locked until we provided further proof. Despite reluctance to provide government IDs, I submitted three photos with our address details redacted to protect privacy. These included a magazine and statements with our names, reflecting our usage of the account since August [redacted]. The documents were sent on January 31, [redacted], and we have been awaiting a resolution since then. The account remains inaccessible with a message advising patience during the review process. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be highly appreciated.

I recently filed a complaint about a website that has now rebranded itself as Active Refresh. They have been promoting a free garden book, claiming it provides extensive information on hydroponics. Despite these promises, the book is simply written with no content related to hydroponics. This misrepresentation deceives people into paying for shipping for a low-quality product that does not fulfill its advertised purpose. It is concerning that they change names to evade scrutiny and negative feedback. I personally received this book seeking hydroponics guidance but found none. Their misleading tactics for profit through shipping fees need to be addressed by reporting them to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and action.

Hello, I am a Belgian currently residing in Vietnam. Today, I unintentionally linked my Facebook account to my Vietnamese phone number instead of my Belgian one. When I tried to correct this, my account became blocked. Upon attempting to log in, I am directed to a page stating that I initiated securing my account on Wednesday, March 6th at 8:28 by clicking a link sent via email. To proceed, I am required to confirm my identity and alter my password. Following this, the page prompts me to choose a method to confirm my identity, with the only option being via another device. Despite showing my computer and phone as options, clicking on them yields no response. Clicking "Get on" results in a red warning message: "Login was not approved." While trying to resolve the issue, I changed my password per Facebook's instruction, after which I received a confirmation email about the password change. Unfortunately, I am now at an impasse. I attempted to fill out a form on the Facebook Help Center for accidentally closed accounts, providing all required information, but an error message states I have entered incorrect details. I seek assistance in unblocking my Facebook account. Thank you, Eva De Mits

I created a Facebook page for my adult son, Michael M., to update friends and family on his recovery progress after a serious car accident 12 years ago. Due to his brain injuries, I manage the page and share photos of his milestones. The page had a profile picture of a tattoo that says 'Mom.' Recently, it disappeared, replaced by another page using his full name, Michael Kevin M. I suspect an old acquaintance deleted the original page and created a new one. It would mean a lot to us to have the original Michael M. page and its photos back.

I was misled into creating a Facebook account by a shoe company promising an additional discount. I followed the steps and ended up unintentionally signing up for a Facebook account in January [redacted]. I now realize I have a Facebook page that I don't want. I've attempted to delete it, but I can't recall the password I used to create it. Every time I try to regain access or verify my identity, I'm informed that my identification is incorrect. Despite providing copies of my driver's license and passport, I've spent countless hours trying to reset my password to no avail. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, I've been locked out of the account. My main goal is to remove the Facebook page I mistakenly created, as it poses a security concern and is of utmost importance to me.

Someone has been using my cell number for their account without my permission. When I tried to recover my Facebook account yesterday, I had to use my new cell number to receive a recovery code. However, when I entered my number, I was redirected to another person's Facebook account. It seemed like this individual may have either hacked into my cell number or I unintentionally accessed their account using my phone number. I immediately logged out and deactivated their account. I attempted to report this issue to Facebook, but there were no clear options for my situation. The individual even called me unexpectedly, accusing me of hacking into their account and using inappropriate language. This experience was alarming, and it's essential to understand how and why this mix-up occurred. Facebook should take responsibility for ensuring the separation of my phone number from this person's account.

I recently created a Facebook account to set up a business page for my venture. I planned to run an ad campaign on Instagram, as Facebook owns it, even though the user experience worsened. Unfortunately, I couldn't verify my email on Facebook despite not receiving any verification email. After providing my phone number, I received an SMS with a code that didn't work. Now, my account is locked, and I haven't received any responses from Facebook. This delay is frustrating as I'm on a tight schedule, and it's hindering my campaign launch. Despite Facebook's massive size, their lack of effective customer support is disappointing. I wish they had a live support option like Apple. I'm dissatisfied with Facebook's services and urgently need this issue resolved. I feel stuck and would appreciate any assistance with this matter.

Since Thursday or Friday, 2/28, I have been receiving texts from Facebook asking for a second verification. Upon attempting to log in, I was alerted of a login attempt from Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday night. The hacker and I were engaged in a back-and-forth battle changing my Facebook passwords every few minutes. By Monday, 3/4, the hacker had taken full control of my account, altering passwords, phone numbers, and security settings such as friend verification. To make matters worse, they posted that my account was hacked and demanded money to unlock it. They have now even started using my image. Ideally, I hope to regain control of my account and online identity, have my images permanently removed from unauthorized use, and ultimately have my Facebook page closed down.
