Thank you for reading. Money was deducted from someone's account for posts I didn't publish. Her banking details were linked to a page "THE EMPTY BOTTLE" that we both administered over 18 months ago. This page has since been transferred to new owners, and neither of us has had access to it as admins since then. Her banking details should not be associated with my new site or any other. I am puzzled as to why Facebook has retained her banking information for a page she no longer owns or is involved with. This has resulted in her losing $[redacted] while I was experimenting on my new page. I unknowingly hadn't entered my bank details, so the invoices were being sent to her. I trusted Facebook with my business page without any issues. I am now requesting that Facebook refund her the money. I don't mind about the page; it was just for fun, but now it has caused a significant financial problem. I await your prompt response. Thank you, Chaz Harrison.

I recently discovered that a picture of mine was shared with a couple of friends using my Facebook account. However, when I checked the chat history with them, I couldn't find any record of sending the image.
I am concerned that Facebook may not be able to safeguard our privacy from potential hackers. Are there any tools available to identify unauthorized access to our accounts? Is there a way to prevent these Facebook hacking tools that can be easily found online with instructions on how to use them? I have been informed that only the username, Facebook account name, or email address are required to hack into an account. This situation has left me feeling quite vulnerable.

Hi,
I have exhausted all options to resolve this without directly contacting Facebook, but I am now at a loss. I have two old accounts under the email addresses [redacted] and either [redacted] or .com. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the passwords for either account and I no longer have access to these email addresses. My name is Hannah Giddings (formerly Higham), and it is vital for me to retrieve all the photos and videos from these accounts. Due to a house fire, I lost all images of my children when they were babies, and the only hope I have of recovering some of them is through these old Facebook accounts. Your assistance would bring a great deal of happiness to a very sorrowful individual.
Warm regards,
Hannah Giddings

I encountered issues with my RaymondMcMillion Facebook account while trying to update my likes list. After being locked out and informed about possible policy violations, I never received any follow-up. I created a new account, Eddie McMilion, and added friends who noticed multiple duplicate accounts under my name. As I continued to add friends to the new account, Facebook locked me out once more due to my phone number being associated with too many accounts. Despite numerous attempts and creating a new account with a different email, I faced challenges verifying my identity with my phone number. I seek assistance in either restoring my original account or being able to create a new one without facing constant lockouts, as it affects my ability to connect with friends.

I recently purchased a new phone and laptop and have forgotten my account password. Despite trying to recover the account with the provided options, I have not received any codes to help me log in. I followed the steps to resend the SMS code and checked my email for instructions but nothing was sent. I'm certain the phone number and email associated with the account are correct. However, when attempting to access my account this morning, I encountered a message stating that "too many incorrect codes were entered," even though I never received any codes to input. When trying to recover the account with my email, no confirmation emails were received either, making it impossible to verify my identity. I even submitted a picture of my license, but it did not solve the issue. It's critical for me to regain access to my Facebook account promptly, especially for Messenger use. My name on the account is Nicole Gervais, email is [redacted], and phone number is 1-[redacted]. Please assist me in resolving this matter quickly.

A few nights ago, I made the mistake of sharing my phone number via Messenger after a friend's request. Consequently, I received a suspicious link, clicked on it, and now friends are informing me of unusual activity on my Facebook account, indicating that I may have been hacked. Following this, I received texts and a call from an unknown number, which I promptly blocked. Despite my attempts to change my password, I encountered difficulties as the reset codes were being sent to an unfamiliar email address. After trying to gain access using my work email, I still couldn't log in, even after sending my ID for verification. Now, friends are reporting receiving dubious connection requests on Hangouts from my account. My main Facebook account is under the name Pat Langlois, and my original email associated with it is [redacted]

I had a Facebook profile years ago with different contact information. I deleted it but recently created a new account. After using it briefly, I got logged out and my account was disabled, asking for identity verification. I uploaded my photo and driver's license but my account remains disabled without explanation. I want to reconnect with old friends from the military and family members. I hope to regain access soon or know why my account was disabled. I can be reached at [redacted] Thank you for your help.

Hello, we are a group of individuals who manage the Facebook page "Thorygirls" dedicated to Women's Rights and Feminism in Arab Countries. Unfortunately, our page was hacked and taken over by someone who is now using it to post from another page named "Amazing Videos." We suspect the hacker is using our page for advertising purposes to make a profit. The hacker removed all of us from the Administration of the page. We have reached out to Facebook's help center, but they have not been able to assist so far as they require proof of ownership, which is challenging for us as we are in conservative Arab countries where seeking help from authorities can be risky due to societal norms opposing our feminist views. Our posts advocating for women's rights have been controversial in our community, but we believe in promoting positive change peacefully. We have documentation to prove ownership and are seeking assistance in reclaiming our page. Thank you for your support. Kind regards.

I oversee the official Facebook account of HIPATURA UNO HRAO, created between December 12-15, [redacted], solely for sharing information on Human Rights-related activities like seminars, trainings, inspections, and other mandates. On January 10, [redacted], the account was maliciously used, causing controversy, and was subsequently deactivated or deleted. I respectfully request the reactivation and recovery of the HIPATURA UNO HRAO account to aid in the investigation of the cybercrime incident and to identify those responsible.

Hello,
I am Derrick W., a National Executive Search Consultant. I recently created a professional account on Facebook to maintain a clear separation from my personal account for privacy reasons, especially for my family. I started updating the page this week and received 3 friend requests, two of which I recognized and accepted, and one from an unfamiliar woman. Despite not knowing her, I accepted the request since this account is for professional networking. However, she messaged me claiming we had a past interaction, which is untrue. I removed her as a friend immediately. The next day, when I tried to share an article, I was locked out of my account and asked to provide a photo of myself, which I did, but I remain locked out. I believe I have not violated any rules. I request assistance in regaining access to my new professional page. My account is linked to my cell at [redacted]. Please contact me for any necessary information or identity verification.

My Facebook account was disabled by a hacker. Hackers today are becoming more sophisticated, challenging the development of secure systems. As a result, the government is working on implementing stricter laws to deter potential hackers, although bringing hackers to justice remains difficult due to their ability to cover their tracks effectively. To combat this issue, imposing tougher laws is essential. With the technological revolution over the past twenty years, computers play a crucial role in society, making it necessary to address the rise in computer crimes through legislative measures. Despite the rapid evolution of technology, legal measures have been slow to keep up. It is crucial to act swiftly to prevent further cybercrimes.

This morning, when attempting to access my Facebook account, I encountered an issue where it was locked and required me to provide an ID photo to verify my age. However, when I created the account, I inaccurately stated my birth year due to my young age, with the day and month being correct. I am unsure if submitting verification will allow me access as the birth year on the account does not match my actual birth year. I am seeking advice on alternative methods to regain access to my account as I cherish the memories and 9-year history associated with it. Additionally, while trying to seek assistance on Facebook's help center, I accidentally removed my phone number from the locked account.

I was locked out of my account last year under my name, 'Andrea Nealy'. The profile picture on that account is a black and white image of me. The email associated with it ([redacted]) is no longer accessible. I had to create a new account, which I didn't like as I had the old one for a long time. I have important messages from loved ones who have passed away, including pictures and videos of my late father, that I would like to retrieve. I have tried various passwords to access my old account, to no avail. I suspect it may have been hacked or that I forgot a difficult password. I am desperate to recover these precious memories for my peace of mind. I am willing to provide a state ID as proof of identity if necessary. My new Facebook account, also under Andrea Nealy, is linked to [redacted] and my phone number is [redacted]. I hope to regain access to my old account and secure it with updated information. I have reached out to Facebook support multiple times without any response, and I am feeling frustrated.

During a recent visit to my family in Yorkshire after 15 years apart, things took a distressing turn when I caught my sister-in-law going through our belongings, leading to a major disagreement. This resulted in us being asked to leave my brother's house in a remote village in the early hours of the morning. Upon returning home, we discovered suspicious activity on our accounts, unauthorized purchases, and strange deliveries. I suspect my sister-in-law, Sue R., and her daughter, Stacey R., are involved in these incidents. It has been a frustrating ordeal, prompting numerous password changes. I aim to identify and hold the culprits accountable for their actions. I want to ensure that our accounts are secure and that such breaches do not occur again. Thank you.

I am writing to seek assistance with my Facebook accounts. I am Carl Hallberg and currently have two Facebook accounts.
The first account was originally established with an organization named Classmates, which later got merged or taken over by Facebook. Unfortunately, this account was deactivated a few years ago due to inactivity.
In November, I started a business named Gopher Outlets and hired a company to help with social media marketing. Unaware of my original account, they created a new one under the business name. Facebook contacted me to provide current information to reactivate my original account, which I did. Both accounts were linked, but now I have been locked out of both for eight days.
I am having trouble sending a requested picture and may need help from the company I hired. I would appreciate it if you could assist me in resolving this matter. Thank you.

Last night, I had trouble accessing my account because I got locked out after multiple failed password attempts on a new device. To regain access, I needed to verify my identity but faced issues with the available methods. Since my current mobile number was not linked to my account due to traveling with a different SIM card, I couldn't receive a verification code that way. The next option required contacting friends for a code, which was challenging as I couldn't easily reach out to them without access to Facebook. Though I managed to involve a friend I was with to contact one person, only two out of the required three friends were able to provide codes. Despite following the instructions precisely, the system didn't work as expected. Reluctant to share my photo ID, I found the requirements excessive and invasive, preferring a simpler email-based password reset. Refusing to upload sensitive documents, I request immediate unlocking of my account without such measures.

Recently, an administrator named Shay Thomas-Wright from the Queen's Code [redacted] Gossip & Tea group sent me a troubling voice message, suggesting self-harm, despite knowing about my depression. Additionally, Shay made insensitive remarks to another member grieving a friend's passing. I possess evidence of these incidents, including the voice message and screenshots. Following these encounters, I decided to leave the chat, block Shay, and disengage. Subsequently, Shay continued to send threatening voice messages targeting me and another former member. This ordeal has shaken my trust in social media, as I was unaware of such cruelty. I am urging Facebook to close down the Queen's Code [redacted] Gossip & Tea group and Shay's account due to ongoing concerns for my safety and her behavior.

I am a parent of a 9-year-old daughter who uses the Internet solely to search for animal-related information. Recently, she received emails suggesting she has a Facebook account, which is alarming as she did not create one and is not familiar with the process. The messages she received contained inappropriate and disturbing content. The Facebook profile in her name with a profile picture of a woman in her twenties seems to be falsely set up using her email address. Given that my husband and I have experienced online harassment in the past from individuals who created fake accounts, we are concerned and seeking assistance. We have involved the police previously but were advised to contact Facebook regarding this matter. Your help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated as it has caused me significant worry.

I am experiencing ongoing issues with a page named Puppy Mill Free Long Island. They have been sharing my posts without consent, spreading false information, engaging in cyberbullying, and making unauthorized sales. They are using photos of my customers without permission, including minors, and are bullying them in these posts. Despite having permission to use these photos, this page is misusing them. Additionally, they are requesting donations on behalf of my store, which is untrue as we do not seek donations and operate as a self-sustaining business. They even link their own sales pages to my shared posts. This behavior is not only directed at my business but is a pattern with other similar businesses in my industry. Despite numerous reports to Facebook, the issue persists as we are unable to prevent them from viewing our pages. Although the page has faced suspension in the past, it is crucial to have it permanently shut down or at least be given the option to block their activity.

I opened a Facebook account years ago. Initially, I used it for connecting with friends and playing FarmVille. Now, attempting to access the account, I have submitted multiple photo IDs, including a BJ's membership and mail, but I keep receiving emails stating that the ID verification is incomplete. Even after resetting the password, I am still unable to verify my account.
My plan is to delete some contacts from my Facebook Friends list and ultimately delete the account since it has been inactive for years. Before doing so, I want to ensure that certain individuals are not linked to the account. Unfortunately, I don't have any connections in the Recovery Friends list, and I changed the account name to InactiveAccount for clarity.
I wish for Facebook to assist me in accessing the account, removing unnecessary contacts, and then permitting me to delete it. This process has already consumed over an hour, and I am becoming frustrated.
