I am having trouble accessing my old Facebook account that I haven't used in 5 years. I would like to recover it instead of creating a new one. Unfortunately, since it's been so long: - I no longer have the devices I previously used to log in. - I do not have access to the old phone number linked to the account, but I still use the same email address. - During the recovery process, I don't recognize 4 out of the 5 friends shown to me for support. The recovery process feels like an endless loop as I can't proceed. If there was a way to contact Facebook directly, I believe I could answer any security questions. My Facebook account was hacked on Friday. The hacker changed the email, password, and set up 2FA. They also removed my registered devices and posted a photo that violates community standards. Additionally, they made a £40 payment for a Facebook ad using my linked bank account. Currently, my account is disabled due to this breach of security and fraudulent activity. I have made progress in starting the recovery process. I added my email, removed the hacked email, and changed the password. However, I am unable to bypass the 2FA step, as it seems like I am logging in for the first time. I have been stuck in a loop with Facebook support. I submitted my driving license and passport for verification but have not received further guidance on how to regain access to my account. Sincerely, Becky

Hello, my Facebook has been hacked. The hacker turned on two-factor authentication using their phone number [redacted] from a Google Duo app on an iPhone 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. I reset my password and logged them out, but now I'm stuck because it's asking for a code sent to their number when I log in. The hacker also asked me for money to return my account. I need help erasing the hacker's phone number from my account or getting the code generator to remove their information from my account. I also saw the email they changed on my account.

My Facebook account was hacked on Saturday morning. I've provided my ID for verification, which was approved. However, the hacker's email address and phone number are still on my account, even though I added another email. I couldn't replace the hacker's phone number with mine and the code I entered was rejected multiple times. I can't log in to change anything. I wonder if my account was deleted, deactivated, or disabled. I'd be okay if it was deleted, but I have precious photos and information there. The hacker easily took over my account, but I can't reclaim it. Important info to verify me is with you, but it hasn't been done.

My Facebook account has been compromised. The hacker changed my password, email, and phone number, making it impossible to recover the account. Despite trying various methods, including using my username and sending multiple emails to Facebook support, I have not received any assistance. I missed the email from Facebook about activating two-factor authentication, which resulted in restricted access to my account. Despite having my login details, I'm unable to sign in without the two-factor authentication. I've attempted to verify my identity by submitting my passport and ID card, but the names on those documents differ from my business Facebook account. There is also no mobile number linked to my account for receiving messages. I require assistance in reactivating my Facebook account since I depend on it for business advertisements. Hello from France! I am Irish, currently living in France. I've noticed an increase in scam sites using Facebook to promote fraudulent goods, resulting in people being deceived. I've reported several of these companies to Facebook, and although they investigate and remove them, new ones keep popping up. One recent example was a site selling ice cream machines for $[redacted], marked far below their actual value of around €[redacted]. Additionally, there are sites displaying the Ukrainian flag, run by Chinese entities, soliciting donations, and the distressing fake fundraisers for children with cancer. I even faced repercussions from Facebook for seemingly innocuous posts, indicating a lack of consistency in their enforcement. Many users are frustrated with these discrepancies. Hello, I noticed that there has been a recent change to my email address on my Facebook account from [redacted] to [redacted], which has led to someone taking over my account. I followed the steps you provided to recover my account, changed the password, but the next morning the password no longer worked, and the links to regain access are not functioning. To resolve this, I need to reset the email address back to [redacted] or use my backup email [redacted] I have received notifications from multiple people about the hacking incident, and despite the system showing no issues, I still need assistance. Last Friday, I fell victim to a scammer who has taken over my original account by linking their email address to it. As a result, I am unable to reset my password, which the scammer changed. I had to create a new account, but I suspect my original account is still active. I am seeking assistance from Facebook to remove the scammer's email from my account, erase all their activity on my page, and send a password reset code exclusively to my email.

Hello, I had an issue with my Instagram account yesterday. I am Oscar Ernesto Villalobos Jovel, and my account was hacked by "susan_fxtrader_" on Instagram. Around 10 am (El Salvador time) yesterday, someone accessed my account, which originally had the username "oscarvillalobos_", from LA, California. This was not me as I am from El Salvador. Upon noticing, I selected the "No, it is not me" option. However, I may have seen the message too late as the hacker changed my original email ([redacted]) to "[redacted]" and altered my username from "oscarvillalobos_" to "_._.oscarvillalobos_". The hacker started posting stories about earning money through bitcoin mining. I have submitted several reports through the Instagram help center, but my original account has not been closed or deleted, and I have not received any assistance in recovering my account. Please assist me.

My Facebook account is currently locked. On March 29, [redacted], I tried to log in from a different device than usual and realized that the birth year on Facebook is [redacted] instead of my actual birth year, which is [redacted]. I made this account when I was young and didn't realize the importance of accurate information. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't resolve the issue, and now my account is locked due to suspicious activity. It's frustrating that there's no customer service representative available for help.
