Dear FB Helpdesk, I believe my FB account was compromised or disabled around 7:00am (IST) on 19/08/[redacted]. I last used it around 2:30am the same day. Despite trying to follow the recovery guidelines, I have been unable to regain access to my account. The email address associated with the account was changed to [redacted], and the contact number [redacted] was also altered. As a respected individual in the Kollywood Cinema Industry, maintaining my professional reputation is crucial, and I am concerned about any potential negative impact this incident may have on me. I urgently request your assistance in recovering my account to avoid any harm to my career. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, VIYAN AARMAN

I suspect the transaction I made was a scam. The buyer provided a UPS tracking number showing delivery while I was mowing the lawn and did not see any UPS delivery. After checking with UPS, they confirmed the package was delivered, but not to me. Someone with a different name and address in the same state received it. The package, supposed to contain Legos, weighed less than 2 pounds, lighter than expected. I tried reaching out to the seller on Facebook, but it seems they closed their account as my messages won't go through, and the item listing is gone. To summarize: 1) Item delivered to a different name 2) Delivered to another address in my state 3) Package was too light for Legos 4) Planning to contact UPS. Thank you for your attention, Kim.

Hello, I am seeking assistance in regaining access to my Facebook account. In March, I enabled two-factor authentication and attempted to disable it in July, but I forgot my password and had to reset it. After receiving an email to verify my identity, I mistakenly clicked on "it wasn't me," resulting in my account being locked. Now, I am unable to turn off two-factor authentication or confirm my identity because the process redirects me back to the login page. I have been trying to resolve this issue for a month, reaching out to Facebook for help without any response. Thank you for any support in helping me access my account.

I have been unable to access my Facebook account for nearly three months due to not receiving any two-factor authentication codes. I initially set up two-factor authentication three years ago after a prior hacking incident. Recently, when I re-downloaded the Facebook app on my phone after experiencing crashes, I'm now being prompted for a 6-digit authentication code that I'm not receiving. I suspect this is because I deleted the authenticator app. I can't remember if I disabled two-factor authentication in my account, and I'm unable to check as I can't access my profile to manage my account. I've attempted various solutions, such as resetting my password, verifying my identity (which was inexplicably denied despite meeting all criteria), and contacting Facebook customer service through multiple unsuccessful phone calls. Any advice on how to regain access would be greatly appreciated.

I have been having sleepless nights over this issue. I changed my password on Facebook a few days ago and completely messed it up. I forgot it the next day because I believed someone had accessed my account and turned off my two-factor authentication. However, I am unable to change my password or contact anyone from Facebook for help. The number registered for my two-step verification is mine, but the number registered on Facebook for SMS verification is one I no longer use and cannot retrieve. Vodacom confirmed the number is out of use and cannot be retrieved, even with a SIM swap. I am at a loss as the tools on Facebook's Help page are not sufficient to assist me, and the options provided do not work without access to that number. I really need help with this issue.

I am struggling to regain access to my Facebook account. When I tried to log in with my usual password, it was rejected by Facebook as my "old" password. I never changed it previously. Upon selecting the "Forgot Password" option, I observed that the registered email is unfamiliar to me, indicating that my account might have been compromised. After requesting a recovery code via SMS and successfully entering it to set a new password, I encountered a prompt to input an email alongside the password received via SMS. Since I typically use my phone number instead of an email for login, I entered my phone number, which doesn't match the registered email. Despite waiting for the password through SMS, I have not received further instructions. Any assistance in recovering my Facebook account would be greatly appreciated.

I was banned by Facebook for 30 days, then received a message claiming I posted an offensive post despite already being on a ban. They referenced a post from January [redacted], which doesn't make sense. They keep asking me to log in multiple times and record a video of myself. My friends have received suspicious messages from my account since this happened. It all started with Facebook insisting I reopen my account login. Now, I'm afraid to use my phone due to these unauthorized posts in my name. Despite providing a UK contact number, they never answer calls. I feel unjustly accused by Facebook, which led to my account being compromised without any action taken. They require an appeal within 30 days, but I can only use my home computer to address this issue. If I don't get a satisfactory response, I plan to escalate this to Ofcom, my MP Sir Rodger Gale, and the national media for resolution. Hopefully, this will lead to a proper resolution.

I experienced a problem with my Facebook account this weekend. When I attempted to log back in, I received an error about incorrect credentials. Despite entering my phone number, it wasn't recognized; however, it worked when I used my email address. Unfortunately, when I tried to receive a verification code, it was sent to a different email address that I couldn't change. I've also received concerning emails about a password change from a device in Italy, which wasn't me. There was also a message about someone else logging into my account and requiring me to answer security questions, but I couldn't access my account to do so. I'm having trouble contacting Facebook to address these issues. I am attempting to resolve this before resorting to the phone number provided. Thank you. -Kelly S.

On 8/8/[redacted], I last used my Facebook account. The following day, I received a message saying I was locked out when I logged in. I tried to follow the instructions provided in the message to unlock my account, but there was no button to proceed. I have been without access to my account for a while now. I managed to change my password the next day, so I believe no one else has used my account. I did not provide any personal information on Facebook, and I am unsure why this happened. The instructions asked for personal details such as my driver's license, visa, passport number, which I did not provide during the account setup and I am not comfortable sharing now. I am considering deleting my account as Facebook is too complicated and appears to lack security. I do not recommend it to others.

On August 8th, [redacted], my account was hacked. The hacker changed my phone number’s country code to that of a South American country instead of the correct code, 1, and also switched the primary email address. While I have managed to re-add my email, the hacker set up 2-Factor Authentication linked to an app I cannot access, preventing me from logging in. Even after completing identity verification and changing the password, I am stuck as it requests the inaccessible 2-factor authentication code. It is concerning that the hacker tampered with my account without having access to my phone or original email. I am eager to regain access to my account promptly. - CP

Subject: Urgent Account Recovery Assistance Needed Hello Team, I am writing to seek urgent assistance in recovering my hacked Facebook account. I recently received an email notifying me that the primary email address associated with my account was changed without my knowledge. This has prevented me from accessing my account, which I have been using for both personal and business purposes for the past 11 years. I have attempted to recover the account without success, as I do not recognize the new email address the hacker used. I am reaching out to request your help in restoring access to my account, as I have not made any recent changes to it. I provided all necessary documentation to verify my identity. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. I eagerly await your response to regain access to my account. Warm Regards, Gabriel K. A.

Last night, while discussing Facebook with a friend, I tried to log in after some time away. To my surprise, it said my password had been changed the previous Saturday. After regaining access by changing the password linked to a different email, I encountered a new hurdle. The system now requests Two-Factor Authentication, but despite attempting to receive the code on my phone for over 12 hours, I haven't received it. Concerned that the hacker may have altered where the code goes, I'm unable to access my account to verify this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

About two weeks ago, I encountered several issues with my Facebook accounts that are causing me trouble. Firstly, I am unable to access my Facebook Business page, but I can still log into my personal page on my Android phone under the number [redacted]. Secondly, upon investigating with my Tech Support, it seems that my Business page associated with my email [redacted] is missing from the Pages settings, indicating it may have been deleted. Thirdly, I am unable to log in to either my personal or Business page on my PC as it requires a 6-digit, 2 Factor authorization code which I have trouble receiving and using correctly. My Tech Support also noticed discrepancies with the telephone numbers associated with my mobile Facebook pages, [redacted] and [redacted], speculating that this might be contributing to the issues along with recent changes requiring a Country Code. I appreciate any help as my work in Real Estate Sales & Marketing relies heavily on Facebook and Instagram for various marketing projects. Your prompt assistance would be greatly valued. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Harvey Heit, MBA & Licensed Real Estate Broker in New York & Florida.

My Facebook account has been hacked, and someone has changed the password. Originally, I created the account with my name Andrew Twardon, but the page is under Anna Andrew Twardon (Anna is my wife). To verify my identity, I submitted two non-governmental documents - my photo ID from New School where I am a professor and a payment stub from Frontier - both issued to Andrew Twardon. I also submitted one governmental document - my passport - which lists my name as Andrzej Andrew Twardon (Andrzej is Andrew in my native language). My email linked to the account, [redacted], is inaccessible. Facebook suggested sending a recovery code to a hotmail address that is not mine. This email, [redacted], is my professional contact. My work email is [redacted] Please advise me on the next steps to take. Thank you, Andrew Twardon

My Facebook account has been disabled because they claim I do not align with their policy ideas, which I find confusing. Facebook is essential for me to stay connected with my family and friends, especially to see my grandkids' photos, wish loved ones Happy Birthday, and simply say Hello. I am not someone who stirs controversy. I rely on Facebook for work, assisting those with Facebook accounts, and I hope to continue doing so. Kindly reconsider reinstating my account as I am not a threat to anyone. I assure you won't be disappointed. My contact number is [redacted], and my email addresses are [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] Your assistance is highly appreciated. Thank you, Kathleen Sitarz.

My official Facebook account was linked to my Instagram account. Unfortunately, my Facebook account was disabled without any explanation. I have submitted a request to Facebook's team, followed all community rules, and did not engage in any illegal or inappropriate activities. My real name, as well as my date of birth, matches the information on my account. I kindly urge for assistance in recovering my official Facebook account. Thank you.

My Facebook account seems to have been compromised. After entering my account details, I'm prompted for a 6-digit code, which I never set up. The code sent to my phone isn't working, leading to a frustrating loop. Despite reviewing the help sections, clarity is lacking. I've reported the hack, but the lack of acknowledgment is disconcerting. At this juncture, I'm unsure about the next steps and eager to access my account for photo retrieval. The potential compromise of my identity is a major concern.

Hello, my name is Brody. On August 20th, [redacted], my account was hacked and subsequently locked. I have the necessary proof of identity available. Due to the hacker setting up a two-step verification, I am unable to regain access to my account. I am looking to reach out to Facebook directly to provide evidence of ownership and request them to restore and unlock my account so that I can secure it with my own two-step verification to prevent any future unauthorized access. Additionally, I have screenshots of the hacker's email address that was linked to my account.
