I encountered an issue while trying to access my free credit report on annualcreditreport.com. After successfully obtaining two reports, I received an error message from Experian stating they were unable to display my report online due to a condition and advised me to request it by mail. I later tried to access it directly from the website, went through account creation, and answered 12 verification questions. Despite this, I encountered another error message. After calling the provided number and waiting 24 hours as instructed, I tried again only to face the same issue. The automated phone system did not offer a solution. I am eager to access my credit report quickly to address unauthorized hard inquiries on the other reports.

I recently applied for a Kohl's credit card at the store and unfortunately had an issue with the income information input. Despite my high credit score of [redacted] and our excellent track record of paying credit cards in full via auto payment, my application was declined due to the incorrect income entry. I was informed that the error was due to missing zeroes in the input. I kindly request the removal of the declined application from my credit report before considering reapplying. Thank you for your assistance. - Linda Debra G. B.

This mix-up is causing issues as loan providers require accurate information for approval, stalling my college plans. Please contact me at [redacted], and I will provide screenshots of the inaccuracies for correction. It is crucial to rectify this situation promptly as it is affecting my educational and financial opportunities.

Contacting Experian has been an absolute nightmare. I recently had to freeze my account due to possible identity theft, and now a store needs to access my credit for a purchase but is struggling to get the necessary information. They are requesting a pin number that I don't recall receiving from Experian. Despite spending all night trying to reach a live person at Experian, I had no luck. I am seeking a working phone number where I can speak to a live representative at Experian to address these issues. Additionally, there is a debt on my credit report that I believe to be a mistake related to a health company I am unfamiliar with. I would appreciate a contact number to resolve these matters and speak with someone directly. Thank you for your help.

Today, I received multiple calls from an individual claiming to have obtained my details from Experian. He insisted on reducing my interest rates for all my credit cards and asked for specific card details. Though he claimed to represent MasterCard/Visa, he spoke quickly and grew upset when I questioned his legitimacy. He warned that the offer would expire if I hung up, a tell-tale sign of a scam. After I mentioned contacting Experian, he persistently called back. I am concerned if this is a common issue reported to your company, and whether this individual is affiliated with a legitimate business due to his unprofessional demeanor.

I am trying to temporarily lift the fraud alert to access my tax record online. However, now I have to wait 5-10 days for an access code to complete registration. My cell phone is with Sprint. I am puzzled as to why others can access it, as the landline I provide on my taxes could be used. Can you assist in speeding up this process?

I have been attempting to contact Experian for two days without success. During the one instance I reached a representative, he forwarded a password reset link that never arrived in my email. Despite multiple attempts as instructed, no email was received and my account remains locked. The inability to speak to a representative is frustrating, and I have spent over an hour each day trying to resolve this issue. I am being billed monthly for credit score monitoring but am unable to access my account due to a forgotten password. I seek assistance to address this challenge promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - L.L.

I need a PIN to verify my fraud alert request as advised by my local credit union representative. I received an email confirmation from Experian after submitting the alert on xxxxx6309. However, the email did not include a PIN as mentioned by the advisor. The email also did not specify the duration of the alert. When I submitted the request, I briefly saw a screen with a similar message, but it mentioned the date 12.03.[redacted] in the second sentence. Could you please confirm if this is accurate? I have been informed that my request will be shared with Equifax and TransUnion. Will each company issue a separate PIN? How long will it take for them to contact me? Thank you.

On August 27, [redacted], I attempted to temporarily unfreeze my credit report online but encountered issues with the system. Following the website's instructions, I submitted the required documents on the website on August 28, [redacted]. On September 4, [redacted], I received an email from Experian instructing me on how to re-freeze my account, leading me to believe it was unfrozen. However, the company I unfroze it for couldn't access my account as it was still frozen. I called Experian at [redacted], but the automated system didn't provide the option to check the status of my request or speak to a representative. I am requesting Experian to contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] to confirm if they have all the necessary information to unfreeze my account and when that will occur. Thank you, Michael W. Hobbs.

I recently unlocked my account on 09/06/[redacted] to facilitate an inquiry by my bank for a credit card offer. Despite following the professional guidelines of US Bank and actively participating in the process to extend my credit line, I faced ongoing frustration over the past two days. Unfortunately, I will not be able to contact [redacted] until Monday, 09/10/[redacted], to seek resolution. I am eager to address this matter promptly and alleviate the unnecessary stress it has caused. Thank you for your time and support in this matter.

Hello, I purchased a car from Vandergrif Acura in May. I've been experiencing issues with the front end shaking, brakes accelerating when stopping, and the inside of the back door coming off while driving. Despite several visits, the problems remain unresolved. I couldn't meet with the Sales General Manager on my last visit, as he was supposed to call me back but didn't. I am considering returning the car but concerned about the impact on my credit. It's urgent for me to speak with someone about this soon.

I attempted to contact Experian by phone without success. I am concerned about my FICO score dropping by 50 points even though I have not missed any payments. My Credit Karma scores have remained steady. I regularly check my credit information on Merrick Bank's website. I have tried various methods to speak with a representative at Experian but have been unsuccessful, even when selecting the "fraud" option on the automated system. I simply wish to have a conversation with a human without triggering alerts on my credit reports. It is frustrating that it is so challenging to reach a person. Could you please address the fraud report on my account and provide guidance on how to contact someone directly without issue?

I recently added a personal statement to a collection item on my credit report stating it was "Never late" and "Paid as agreed." However, after updating this, my credit score dropped by 19 points, which seems excessive considering my disagreement with the account in question. With a clean payment history of only eight late payments over nearly 28 years, this significant drop is unwarranted. The initial false reporting also caused a 22-point decrease. In total, my score has now fallen by 37 points, all due to adding a personal statement. I am disappointed in Experian's handling of this matter and will be discontinuing my membership with your service. I intend to inform others to seek credit advice elsewhere and will share my grievance with USAA, encouraging them to consider a different credit bureau for their financial services.

I am receiving repeated calls from a company claiming to be associated with Experian, offering to help lower my credit card interest rates. They state that Experian requested the call. Concerned this may be fraudulent and worried my credit card information has been compromised, I am seeking guidance on the next steps. I have attempted to contact Experian multiple times but have only reached an automated voicemail system with no option to speak to a live person. Urgent assistance is requested to address the situation promptly. Thank you. - Carol R. [redacted]

I need help speaking to a live person at Experian regarding an issue with my account setup. I received an email confirming a credit lock and PIN, but I am unable to log in. Despite entering the correct PIN, the system does not recognize my information when I try to find my ID. I have attempted to contact them, but the automated system asks for my SSN, which it does not recognize. I need assistance and would appreciate a live person to help resolve this matter. Thank you.

I currently have a freeze on my credit with Experian and have made numerous attempts through various methods to unfreeze it without success. My credit remains frozen, and this delay is causing significant financial losses every day, especially as I am trying to purchase a home. I live in Arizona, where it is now free by law to freeze or unfreeze credit. I do not wish to sign up for any membership. The accumulating extra interest due to this delay is becoming a significant burden, and I would prefer to pay the previous $5 charge if needed. Please, I urge Experian to unfreeze my credit promptly.

I am having difficulty lifting a security freeze on my account to apply for an apartment. I have been in Florida since April of [redacted]. Although I do not drive here, my license still shows my old address at 5 Donna Street Apt. [redacted] Palm Harbor, Florida [redacted]. I initially lived at this address until August [redacted], and then moved to [redacted] Enterprise Rd. E. Apt. [redacted] Clearwater, Florida [redacted] when my one-year lease ended on August 3, [redacted]. Currently, I am temporarily staying with a friend. I have updated my address with the post office, but Experian claims they do not have this new address on file, preventing me from unlocking the security freeze. The leasing office requires access to my credit report, so I must resolve this issue by October 1st. What steps should I take to rectify this situation?

I'm looking at credit card offers and wanted to know if a specific one is unsecured. When I tried to submit my question to Experian, the form said there was no answer and suggested calling instead. Unfortunately, my phone is low on battery, and the app on my tablet has a poor connection, making it impossible to enter my SSN and zip code. The phone recording keeps advising to write in. Do people still send mail nowadays? I usually handle everything online or by phone and can't remember the last time I used a stamp. Haha, it's true. Could you assist me? The card I'm interested in is Arvant. Maybe I should just apply and check if it gives me the details I need. Thank you for your assistance. Regards, S.N. [redacted]

I am researching credit card offers and needed clarification on whether a specific one was unsecured. When I tried to submit my question to Experian online, it said there was no answer available and advised calling instead. Unfortunately, my phone is almost out of battery, and the app's connection on my tablet is poor, making it impossible to input my SSN and zip code. The recording prompts me to send a written inquiry instead. In this digital age, I rarely use mail and rely on phone or online services. I can't even recall the last time I bought a stamp. Can anyone provide assistance? I need Experian to confirm if the Arvant card offer is unsecured, as instructed on the form. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Experian provides information to FedEx for setting up delivery notifications. A security question asked me to identify individuals who lived at my address, but none of the listed names have lived here. My house was built in [redacted], and only my mother, who passed away in [redacted] and had Alzheimer's, resided here from '00 to '05. I don't recognize any of the names provided. I am concerned about the accuracy of my personal information. I attempted to contact a representative but was unable to through the given phone number. I need assistance to remove the incorrect names associated with my address. Additionally, I accidentally froze my credit cards while trying to resolve this issue. Please rectify this promptly.
