Experian Boost is not allowing me to connect my bank account, even though my bank is on the list of institutions eligible for integration. An Experian employee advised me to disconnect and reconnect the account due to utility issues, but since then, I have been unable to reconnect for a month. Experian has not been helpful and I've received inconsistent responses from their customer service representatives every time I contact them. It's concerning that the people handling our credit reports seem unable to effectively address basic issues. I am left wondering about the competence of their technicians and what actions they are taking to resolve these problems.

I have received two emails prompting me to complete an account online, which I never initiated. It seems someone is attempting to breach my account security. I request that my account be frozen immediately. I will be sending an email regarding this matter. The recent security breaches have been alarming. My identity has been compromised, and my credit reports are inaccurate. I have cleared three scores, and my Chapter 13 should have been resolved by [redacted] at the latest. However, there are lingering issues that have not been addressed. I am the genuine Laurie Goldman from Framingham, MA. Once again, I urge for my account to be frozen to prevent any further unauthorized access. If there are any calls claiming to be me, please be aware that it is not me.

I am currently in the process of applying for a house rental through Zillow. Zillow conducts credit checks using Experian for their applicants. Unfortunately, my application was not accepted as they mentioned that my credit was frozen. I have made two attempts to unfreeze my credit report. First, I called Experian last week and spoke with a representative who corrected the social security numbers that were scrambled by Equifax. Even though I received a confirmation letter dated December 20, [redacted] confirming this correction, my credit reports remain frozen. Today, I tried to unfreeze the report online with Experian, but I encountered an error message stating that the last correct address of city and state was not provided, despite it being on the confirmation letter. If we have to wait until Monday to call and resolve this issue, we risk losing the house rental we urgently need. How should we proceed?

I contacted the IRS Identity Theft Department regarding my son Swava MCrea's Social Security Number, which is [redacted]-77-[redacted]. They advised me to call for further assistance due to identity theft that occurred in [redacted]. While trying to speak to a representative, I accidentally initiated a freeze on the account instead. Unfortunately, the security questions online were unfamiliar to me, causing difficulty in resolving the issue. My son has been incarcerated since [redacted], and I need to remove the freeze and set up an alert instead. I recently spoke with the Federal Trade Commission Office. You can reach me at [redacted]. Dawn MCrea, Swava's mother, mentioned his state ID is expired, and they do not allow copies of their prison ID to be made.

I have noticed that there are 24 hard inquiries on our credit report due to our recent mortgage application. We decreased our monthly payment from $[redacted] to $[redacted] in December. Despite having a FICO score of [redacted], CitiCorp declined our application for a Costco VISA card citing "too many inquiries." CitiCorp mentioned they are unable to override the information on the Experian report. Generally, Experian consolidates mortgage inquiries into one if they are all completed within a month, but due to circumstances like COVID-19 and communication with various mortgage brokers, this process extended over three months. Unfortunately, when I attempted to contact Experian for assistance, most of the phone numbers connected me to Sales departments instead of customer service.

I recently received a notification from Zander Identity Theft regarding my phone number being exposed online. Following their advice, I placed a fraud alert on my credit report. I am now in the process of obtaining a quote from The Hartford insurance company. The Hartford is requesting a code or something similar to perform a legitimate credit check. I want to maintain the fraud alert but also enable The Hartford to conduct the necessary credit check. How can I proceed without removing the fraud alert?

I reached out to Experian on Saturday, February 6, because I noticed two months of missing deductions from my bank account. When I inquired about this issue, I was informed that a new plan was being implemented which would include the deductions. When I tried to access my account, the system repeatedly asked for the credit card linked to my account. Despite providing my valid Visa card information, it was rejected three times. Upon calling for assistance, the representative overlooked my concern about the rejected card and assured me that deductions would resume. I also discovered that my Capital One Visa card and Caesar's Reward Visa cards were not included in my credit report, and the representative could not explain why. Despite reaching out multiple times, I was informed that the individuals were not based in the United States. Unfortunately, due to physical ailments, I couldn't call during business hours, but I intend to seek further clarification.

Hello, I am writing to express my frustration regarding the decline of my credit application for the Costco Anywhere Visa Card. I was disheartened to learn that applying for credit can actually lower one's credit score, which feels like adding insult to injury. I strongly disagree with this practice of reducing credit scores upon credit applications. It seems unreasonable and counterproductive. Additionally, I found it challenging and time-consuming to find a general contact email for Experian in the past. I had tried to provide documentation from a cable company that resolved a dispute in my favor, but struggled to reach them. Despite the hassle, it didn't make a difference in my Costco Visa application. I have been a responsible tenant since [redacted], always paying my rent on time without fail. It's disappointing that a credit report doesn't consider this significant monthly expense or other payments, like the two thousand-dollar beds I purchased through QVC. I request that my concerns about these corrupt systems be addressed by someone who values customer feedback. Dealing with credit entities in my state has consistently been challenging and frustrating in my 63 years of life. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Sincerely, "Cash Only" Vickie 😂💕❤️

I have been charged twice on my Experian account. On February 4th and February 23rd, each for $19.99. Despite trying to cancel the account since the end of the free trial, I have been unsuccessful. Recently, while using my iPhone, I had to link my PayPal account for my child, and Experian charged my card for the first $19.99 immediately. I have been attempting to contact someone to resolve this issue as I cannot afford these charges. I lost my job due to Covid-19 and am a single mother. The second charge of $19.99 on Feb 23 only added to my financial burden. I urgently need help to cancel my account and receive a refund as this money is essential for other expenses at this time.

I encountered difficulties attempting to lift my security freeze online. The process required details like my last address, city, and state, but the system did not provide fields to input this information. After trying to lift it over the phone, I was instructed to mail identification and address documents to a post office box in Allen, TX, with a pledge to remove the freeze once they receive the necessary paperwork, a process taking up to 3 days. Unfortunately, Experian's website and phone assistance did not offer a swift solution to remove the security freeze. I urgently need to lift the freeze since I am in the process of applying for a mortgage and the lenders need to review my credit. Can anyone offer guidance on expediting this process?

I tried to temporarily lift my credit freeze to get a credit report, but had to call because ordering it online was unsuccessful. An automated message advised me that my credit report would arrive in 15 days without any confirmation provided. I urgently need to address this issue. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, K.S.

In [redacted], I purchased a lawnmower from Walmart, but it was faulty and would not start. The staff tried to fix it but couldn't, so they refunded the purchase back to my card. I then bought another lawnmower from there, but this one had a battery issue that couldn't be resolved. The manager assisted, and they refunded that purchase as well. Eventually, I bought a working lawnmower from Menards, which I've been using since. I am 72 years old and needed an electric mower. I communicated this history to a caller previously, who was supposed to send a form to rectify the credit report. However, nothing was received, leading me to believe the issue was settled. Unfortunately, I recently discovered that this problem is still affecting my credit score, hindering a loan application at my bank. I urgently need this error corrected before March 19 to proceed with the loan. I appreciate any help in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you for your understanding during these challenging times of the covid crisis.

I recently received an email stating that my account has been updated. However, I did not make any changes to my account. Additionally, I am unable to log in using my username and password. I have reached out to support via email multiple times but have not received any response, not even an automated one. When calling, I am unable to reach a live person or even find an automated prompt to address this issue. It is frustrating that a company holding important information cannot provide basic support services.

Hello, I noticed a charge of $21.95 on my Discover Card on 2/12/[redacted]. Despite cancelling a membership I don't recall signing up for on 2/19/[redacted] and receiving a confirmation email, the charge was not refunded. Another charge appeared on 3/12/[redacted], even though when attempting to log into Experian, it shows I have no active membership. I have tried contacting via five different phone numbers but have been unable to reach a person for assistance. I demand the reversal of these charges and request no further charges be made. I have initiated a dispute with Discover Card due to the lack of response from your company. I will be sharing my negative experience with your Customer Service with everyone I know.

I received a fraudulent call claiming my social security number was compromised from phone number [redacted]. The caller identified himself as Officer Nate Shaw with employee ID# [redacted]45. He requested my name, and after providing it, he mentioned my case number as DMC701089. Unfortunately, I gave the last four digits of my SS#. The caller stated that the US Marshalls were searching for me at addresses in Texas, which I found suspicious as I have never been to Texas. He mentioned there was an arrest warrant #[redacted]8 for money laundering and drug trafficking. Feeling uneasy, I mentioned contacting legal counsel and my local police department. I contacted the Southern US Marshalls office and confirmed it was a scam. I followed Deputy Colin's advice to freeze my credit accounts. I have been trying to reach your agency for further clarification without success. Kindly return my call for additional queries. Thank you.

I have spoken to three clerks between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. I requested to speak to a supervisor to file a complaint about these rude and unprofessional clerks. Two out of three calls were abruptly disconnected after being put on hold. During another transfer, a regular clerk answered instead of a supervisor, claiming they couldn't transfer me. When I requested their employee number and last name or the call center they were from, no information was provided. My credit report in California has been decreasing weekly since November [redacted], despite paying my bills on time. My Visa balance is $2,[redacted] or less, and all other accounts are at a zero balance, excluding my student loans, paid promptly since June [redacted]. I am requesting the reapplication of a credit freeze on my report and the correction of any inaccuracies.

My name is Angell Larson. Please correct it to be spelled A-n-g-e-l-l L-a-r-s-o-n, not AngellGet or ANGELLGET. I do not have a middle name, and it is not required by law. I am hesitant to provide my Social Security number online due to security concerns. It is frustrating that it seems difficult to communicate accurate information to your system. I am considering taking legal action if necessary. My name is Angell Larson, not ANGELLGET.

I need some clarification on my credit report regarding credit usage. I recently obtained additional credit cards as recommended, which has led to my credit usage exceeding 6%. Despite always paying my bills punctually and prior to their due date, my credit score has dropped from the 800s to the low 700s. I even received approval for a Discover Card. I am uncertain as to why my score has decreased significantly. As a retired individual planning to purchase a Motorhome, this decline is concerning. How can I address this issue?

I am currently in the process of applying for a home mortgage, and the mortgage officer informed me that my account has a security freeze preventing access to my report. Despite my attempts to lift the freeze online, I encountered an error message indicating it cannot be done at the moment and provided a phone number to call. Regrettably, the phone number only leads me in circles without any option to speak to a representative or release the security freeze. Additionally, I am unable to access my account online due to it being linked to an outdated email address. The urgency stems from the freeze hindering my mortgage application and subsequent ability to make an offer on a home. I kindly request immediate assistance with lifting the freeze. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Best, S. McDonald

I noticed that my car insurance with "Grinnel," cable bill from "Xfinity," and gym membership at "Planet Fitness" were not included in my credit summary, even though a previous representative assured me they would be added. Currently, only my Capital One bill is showing up, and the credit summary amount is incorrect, resulting in no credit boost. Please rectify this by adding the missing bills, reinstating the frequency count beside paid bills, and ensuring only my checking account ending in [redacted] is utilized for payments. Kindly remove the alerts related to other bank accounts and do not calculate balance alerts for high transactions. Thank you.
