In the 1990s, I had a Citibank Visa card that accumulated unpaid debt, leading to recent communication from Lake City Credit in Dallas, TX, demanding repayment or legal action on 12/9/[redacted]. After consulting my attorney about debt collection statutes of limitations, I insisted on written verification of the debt via USPS, which Lake City Credit finally provided in a letter on 12/19/[redacted]. Engaging authorities, I lodged complaints with the Attorney General’s offices in PA, Texas, and South Dakota, as well as the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. The CFPB informed me that Lake City Credit is not affiliated with Citibank and redirected the issue to Citibank's Florence, KY office to s. Upchurch-Stevens. Despite my prior attempts to contact Citibank's customer service, they are unable to locate any information. I reached out to S. Upchurch-Steven on 12/19/[redacted], and while trying to locate their telephone number in Citibank's Florence, KY office, I have been unsuccessful so far.

I recently received a custom alert indicating a large balance on my account. We haven't made any purchases that would result in such a high balance. I tried to freeze the card, but I wasn't able to do so. My wife has the password and security question, but after a recent stroke, she's unable to follow the necessary steps. I recently made a payment for my Citi Cash credit card, which was applied to a closed account in my wife's name. This resulted in a late fee charge on my statement. After numerous phone calls, the issue was resolved, and I eventually received a check from the closed account and saw the payment transferred to the correct account in my November statement. Despite making two payments, Citibank is now charging me again for the same amount on the closed account, claiming I need to return the check they sent me. It seems there is still a discrepancy in the charges, and I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter.

I am reaching out to Citibank NA regarding a check I received bearing your company's name. Despite being directed to Liberty Mutual, the check displays Citibank's logo, address, and number. A representative deemed it fraudulent and advised contacting you for clarification on the $3,[redacted] payment. The provided contact number is [redacted]. The check also features the logo of Liberty Mutual Insurance, with office number [redacted], B.Code [redacted], and payment ID H3V-[redacted]76-[redacted], bearing check#: [redacted]3 dated 01/03/23. Upon tracing the phone number to Gilbert, Arizona, registered to Camille Ema Isabel Baldwin, the check was received on 01/09/[redacted]. Given my previous accounts with Home Depot and Best Buy, involvement with Citibank seems suspicious. On December 12, I opened a Citi Checking account ending in [redacted] through the mobile app and funded it with a debit card. Despite not having a credit card or loan with Citibank, a $[redacted] transaction was posted on December 13. After suspecting fraud, a representative cancelled my debit card, issued a new one, and $[redacted] was credited back on December 16. Unfortunately, the credit was manually debited later, leading to an overdraft due to the initial funding glitch. I mistakenly entered [redacted].00 instead of 70.00 for a transfer when I received upsetting news about my health. As a result, my account was frozen and then closed by Citibank, instructing me to wait 48 hours. I reached out on Saturday only to find the department closed, and today I was told to wait another 48 hours. If my account is being closed due to this error, I request the remaining funds be transferred to my linked Chase account promptly. The delay in resolving this matter is jeopardizing my business as I urgently need the funds for an appraisal. Kindly consider the circumstances and release the funds without further delay. The consequences of this situation are severe, and I hope Citibank can understand and act promptly to rectify this issue.

I recently fell victim to a scam by individuals pretending to be PayPal representatives via email. They gained access to my computer under false pretenses, instructing me to purchase Xbox gift cards from Amazon, which were later refunded. They also had me send $[redacted] via Zelle from Bank of America and $[redacted] from Citi to unknown individuals. When I realized it was a scam, I immediately contacted the banks to stop the transfers. While Bank of America followed through, Citi has been uncooperative despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue over the phone. I am now looking for further assistance, possibly reaching out to the Florida State Attorney General's office, although I lack an email address to do so. I am disappointed by the lack of attention Citibank, a financial institution I have been with for over five decades, has given to my situation.

I am John Brodrecht and I want to share my experience with Citibank regarding my CD account number [redacted]0. I encountered issues with my [redacted] form not reflecting the early withdrawal penalty as required by the IRS. Despite speaking to multiple Citibank representatives, the problem persisted. Claire initially dismissed the necessity of including the penalty on the [redacted], but her supervisor Jocelyn validated that it should indeed be included. After comparing figures, it was evident that the penalty of $[redacted].74 was missing from the [redacted]. Jocelyn assured me that a corrected [redacted] would be sent, providing the password Citi2022 for access. Unfortunately, I never received the promised email. Subsequent calls to Chris, Mackquiber, and Jen failed to resolve the issue, with Jen acknowledging the error but informing me that Citibank had denied the correction. Despite the clarity of the mistake, Citibank's reluctance to amend the [redacted] has left me contemplating reporting them to the IRS. Citibank recently closed my credit cards after three returned payments. I am seeking to have the account reopened based on extenuating circumstances. While I understand the policy states that if two or more returned payments occur in the past six months, the account can be closed, I want to highlight that the rejected checks were a result of fraudulent activity on my bank accounts. When I uncovered the fraud, I promptly informed Citi that the payments would not be successful and took immediate steps to address the situation by arranging payments from a different checking account. Despite receiving an automated notification of the account closure, I believe that by speaking directly with a representative, my accounts can be reviewed and potentially reinstated.

I applied for a Citi Simplicity card in Sept [redacted] but got denied due to a delinquent credit obligation on my Experian report. I've been trying to contact Citi by phone but keep getting directed to the same prompts with only 2 unhelpful options that end in disconnection. Even when I called Experian, they couldn't find any delinquencies on my report. I've reached out to multiple phone numbers, but they all lead to the same frustrating prompts. If I get to speak to a person, it's often difficult to understand them as they guide me to input an account or social security number, which I don't have or isn't in their system. This issue is preventing me from resolving the matter with Citi.

I contacted Citibank approximately two hours ago regarding fraudulent charges on my Citibank debit card. I was transferred to the fraud department. There were three charges on my account that I did not make - two Instacart charges and a Knott's Berry Farm charge for $[redacted].99. The agent cancelled my debit card and mentioned that a new one would be sent out in 1-2 days. I was advised to contact the Corona Police Department and file a police report. However, I encountered difficulties when trying to log in to my Citibank App to retrieve the exact amounts of the charges. Despite multiple attempts and calls back to Citibank, the system did not recognize me. I also attempted to contact the Fraud Department directly, but only managed to connect by identifying as a merchant. Unfortunately, the call got disconnected after a minute. As tomorrow is a holiday, I urgently need to provide the correct charge amounts to file a police report.

Dear Sir or Madam, I had my $[redacted],[redacted] Sport Fish Yacht towed to Key West by Boat US. I employed a professional marine mechanic at a rate of $[redacted]+ per hour in Key West. Unfortunately, the marine mechanic ended up crashing the boat into the dock and billed me for the extensive damages, which I paid with my Citi Card. The repairs are still incomplete, and the situation has been quite embarrassing, as my girlfriend covered the $[redacted] monthly Marina fee for October. The incident also caused damage to the dock at Conch Harbor Marina. I kindly request the removal of the three charges from my credit card (Key Marine Service Card #5[redacted] 4[redacted]). Hello, I have not yet received my Citibank credit card, and I do not have the card number to contact customer service. I have noticed that there is an annual fee being charged on the card, and I receive a statement every month. However, I do not know how to pay the bill without any information about the credit card. I have tried calling customer care but they are unable to assist me without the card number. I have been using your platform for 3 days to earn money. When I tried to withdraw my assets to my Binance wallet, your customer service requested a deposit of $[redacted] as my funds were frozen, without explanation. Reluctantly, I made the deposit. Despite the agreed upon withdrawal approval, it was denied, and I was instructed to deposit $[redacted] to unfreeze my account, which I did to avoid further issues. While crafting, my US credit card was damaged with super glue, making it unreadable. I contacted customer service on February 2, [redacted], requesting a replacement to be sent to an address in Georgia via Express Mail. Despite subsequent calls on February 12, 19, 21, and March 6, I have not received the new card or tracking details as requested during the initial call.
