Hello, I'm Caressa B. I recently bought an iPhone 6 from Boost Mobile in Covington, VA, as my first time dealing with Boost. Initially, my experience was positive, but I encountered two main issues. Firstly, when I called the local Boost store to inquire about setting up monthly payments and adding lines, the associate inadvertently did not mute me and made unkind comments about me and my queries to another customer. This left me feeling very upset. Secondly, my phone's volume has been acting erratically since the third day of owning it, fluctuating randomly. Although I intended to visit the store about the volume problem, my recent poor customer service experience over the phone has deterred me. I am seeking an appropriate resolution, such as compensation for the poor service received, possibly a month of free service or assistance with the phone volume issue. I hope this feedback helps address my concerns as a dissatisfied customer considering other options if not resolved.

I purchased a new Motorola phone from Boost online. When I tried to activate it, there were issues, and even in-store assistance didn't fix the problem. Despite trying to update it, I kept encountering an error code (UNABLE TO INSTALL DEFAULT 1 CODE [redacted]) causing the phone to shut off constantly. Customer service advised me to re-download the update, but the phone still malfunctions. I was told I have a defective phone and was left frustrated after speaking to Jose and then being disconnected by Mario. Boost needs to replace my faulty phone promptly. This situation has caused me a lot of inconvenience as I had to borrow money for the phone and now cannot use it after only two weeks.

I am currently on an old family plan promotion with five lines. Yesterday, I decided to activate the 5th line that was previously unactivated but on autopay. After overcoming some issues with my old carrier, Tracfone, and switching over to Boost Mobile, I was able to activate the line. I requested to switch the phone number to [redacted] and do a swap. The customer care personnel at the store went above and beyond my expectations, providing caring and calm support throughout the process. However, I have noticed that the line with the swapped number [redacted] has had connection issues since last night. It seems to be showing messages about no connection and prepaid account status. I suspect the issue might be related to the Tracfone pin number.

I attempted to return the phone I received via FedEx recently. After changing my mind, I spoke with an agent twice over the past 3 days to address the issue of FedEx not accepting the return with the number I placed on the box. Despite assurances, I have not received an email with return instructions as promised. Frustratingly, I called today and was once again told to expect an email with instructions, which I have yet to receive. I need to return the phone promptly as it remains unactivated without a phone number. The situation has left me extremely upset. I urge the company to assist me promptly, or I will escalate this matter further. Thank you. - MJC

I have been without service since Saturday afternoon, 9/28/19. I cannot make or receive calls. I'm receiving messages but cannot answer them. Boost error 97 came up and then tonight boost error 34. Although your site says you cannot have a live chat with customer service, Sunday 9/29/19, I did chat with someone. I was told that a tower in my area was being updated and it could take 24 to 72 hours for service to be restored, but when it was, I would be pleased. I'm a 74-year-old woman, I live alone. I need phone service. My phone number is [redacted]. My address is [redacted] Anderson St. Apt. [redacted], Greencastle, IN [redacted]. I want this resolved, and I will not pay for the days I had no service. I am tempted to change networks. - Sherrie Sandy

I recently purchased a Coolpad phone from your blue store in Hopkins, Minnesota, along with an SD card. The salesperson who was assisting me seemed very busy and was getting frustrated, so I decided to take the phone home and transfer my data to the SD card myself. Unfortunately, I accidentally inserted the SD card without the tray, and now it's stuck. The technician at the Hopkins store, Rico, mentioned they would replace my phone, but I haven't received any further assistance. I am currently without a working phone, despite being advised to make an insurance claim that didn't seem to help. I would appreciate it if you could help me resolve this issue promptly.

Hello, I need to delay my daughter's Boost Mobile payment due tomorrow. This week, with her finals and changing school schedule, I couldn't make the payment due to being pregnant and facing health issues that led me to the hospital, resulting in a week off work without pay. I'm struggling due to the circumstances and kindly request an extension for her payment deadline by at least 3 days. Thank you for understanding.

I just realized I've been charged for a Boost Mobile phone for over six months without using it because I switched to MetroPCS. I'd like to get the phone network unlocked since I was unknowingly being charged during this time. I need the unlock code from Boost Mobile so I can use my new carrier's SIM card. I'm aware I have to pay $23.09 to UnlockRiver for the service, but I need Boost Mobile to provide me with the unlock code first.

I located my lost phone and no longer need assistance. However, I am having trouble setting up an emergency lock on my phone as there is no Settings icon as shown in online tutorials. I will visit the store for help soon. Thank you. I have been loyal, always making payments on time for the three phones I bought in two years, using automatic check withdrawals. As an 86-year-old disabled Veteran living off SocialSecurity and food stamps, my phone is crucial. Your help is appreciated. Signed, Capt. Herman G. from the USAF (Ret.). Phone no. In the past, we all dealt with heavy plastic telephones and unwanted solicitors calling from time to time. Hanging up on them used to feel empowering, especially when the loud slam signaled the end of the call. However, modern phones lack that same satisfying effect. I recently had multiple scam calls from supposed Social Security agents, prompting me to block their numbers. But just blocking them doesn't feel sufficient anymore. With today's technology, I wish there was a way to hang up on scammers that really gets the message across, maybe with a loud sound or even an explosion on their end. While tracing the true culprits isn't realistic, having a more impactful way to fend them off would be welcome. This is just a harmless idea to combat these frustrating calls. Warm regards, Jerold.

I would like to speak with a manager immediately. I am very dissatisfied and tired of spending hours trying to pay my bill or add data without success. Tonight, I tried adding 1GB of data for over an hour, but the app took my money from my Boost card without adding the data. I cannot access the web now as a result of this issue and am frustrated that I cannot resolve it or speak to anyone for help. I am determined to get a refund for the money taken and I no longer want to use Boost services due to this ongoing problem.

Hello, I'm Tracy F. I would like to request an extension on my phone bill. I have recently started a new job and unfortunately fell short on funds due to a family tragedy. My grandkids' house burned down, and I've been assisting them. If possible, could you please consider extending the deadline by a week? This would be greatly appreciated and a one-time request. Thank you.

I've been experiencing issues with the internet wifi on all four of my phones since I purchased them on the 3rd of October. I've never encountered this problem with Boost before, even though I'm in the same coverage area. Support has tested the towers and confirmed they are working fine. I can't afford to leave my office unsecured for another day, as I'm late getting my kids to school due to this situation. I only received my text messages when they all came in a bunch at once, and I wasn't even aware that I wasn't reachable. I'm hoping that you can email me and that I'll receive it. This is truly unfortunate.

Since March, my phone has been constantly disconnecting and showing zero signal. It happens around 10 times per hour, and now it won't even load. Despite having an unlimited plan, I'm experiencing severe limitations. I reached out to customer service, but the representative couldn't address my concerns and transferred me to another person. This new representative mentioned that my speed might be reduced by the provider for someone else's benefit. It feels like I'm not getting what I paid for, and it's frustrating. I have spent $[redacted] on phone bills since March and feel like Boost is not fulfilling its promises. Even after running a diagnostic that shows my phone is fine, the issues persist. It's upsetting to think I've received three supposedly new SIM cards that haven't fixed the problem. This situation feels like fraud on Boost's part.

Dear Sir, My name is Malinda Horner. I have been a Boost customer for years. In March [redacted], I bought a brand new phone but have been experiencing issues with the Boost service disconnecting and having no internet connection. Despite multiple SIM card replacements and phone changes, the problem persists. I have spent $[redacted] on a phone that seems to be functioning fine, according to LG diagnostic. Over the past months, the service continues to disconnect, and I have discovered that I may not truly have unlimited data as advertised. It appears that Boost may be reallocating my data to other users. I feel like my money is being taken unfairly. I spoke with a supervisor named Alexa who seemed hesitant and did not provide clear answers. I have attached evidence of my struggles and hope that something can be done to resolve this situation. I feel that Boost is mishandling my account and want to regain the services I am paying for. Thank you, Malinda

I am looking to unlock my Samsung S10e (Model Number: SM-G970U1) for various reasons: 1. Experiencing more dropped calls lately. 2. Continuously receiving duplicate texts. 3. Signal strength at home has significantly decreased. 4. Misinformed about having WIFI calling capability. 5. Misled about having HD voice functionality. 6. Unable to extend ring time to 30 seconds as before. 7. Not informed upfront about the 12-month lock to the carrier despite purchasing the phone in full from Best Buy. This has not been the case with my previous Samsung devices like the S3, S5, and S7.

I want to have my phone unlocked to switch to another carrier that is more transparent. I am experiencing more dropped calls than usual, constantly receiving repeated texts, and have little to no signal at home. The current carrier misled me about having WIFI calling and HD voice services. Additionally, they are refusing to extend the ring time to 30 seconds, claiming it cannot be done on the phone. They also did not disclose that my factory unlocked phone would be locked to their service for 12 months, even though I purchased it in full from Best Buy. This lack of transparency is frustrating.

1. I have experienced a significant increase in dropped calls recently compared to before. 2. The issue of receiving repeated text messages persists. 3. I am facing a lack of signal reception at home most of the time now. 4. I was misled about the availability of WIFI calling; I was promised this service. 5. I was also deceived about receiving HD voice; this service was assured to me. 6. Customer service refuses to extend the ring time to 30 seconds, claiming it's a phone feature. However, they have adjusted this on all my previous Samsung phones, including the S3, S5, and S7. 7. The service provider did not disclose that my factory unlocked phone would be locked to their service for 12 months, even though I paid in full for the phone at Best Buy.
