My name is Linda M. I received a free government phone from Insurance Wireless/T-Mobile. It worked for a few days and then got disconnected. It now shows "emergency calls only." Since receiving my Assurance Wireless phone, I have been unable to use it. Today, I installed the SIM card, but the phone keeps indicating there is no SIM card. When attempting to call the toll-free number provided, it prompts me for my Assurance phone number, which I have not received. This has left me frustrated as I am unable to get assistance without the phone number. Despite inserting the SIM card, the phone does not recognize it. I'm in need of help to start using my Assurance Wireless phone. Thank you.

As a former Assurance Wireless customer, my phone suffered water damage, and I was informed I could receive a replacement. Despite being told the replacement was shipped, it never arrived. I was then asked to pay $30 for a replacement because it was not covered by the warranty. Due to this, I decided to cancel my service. After being advised to reapply after 72 hours as a new customer, I did so but have since been unable to track the status of my application. I did not receive an enrollment number or any confirmation details.

I have been a loyal customer for a long time, and recently I had to get a replacement phone from Assurance Wireless. Even though I requested a Moto G Pure, I received another Orbic phone, which has not been working well for me. I was promised a better phone, but I received a phone that is worse. I believe that after being a customer for so long, I deserve a phone that works properly, like the Moto G Pure. I am experiencing difficulties with the current phone I have, and I am hoping to receive assistance in getting a better phone that suits my needs. Thank you for any help you can offer.

I have been a customer for 2 to 3 years now, and since I got my phone, I've had to switch it out multiple times due to recurring issues with the device and service. I signed up for the unlimited talk, text, and data plan, but have been experiencing problems with it. I have faced challenges with the company, service, and phone for years. I received a tablet at the Health Department in Ocala from one of your on-site tents. I paid $20 for an Assurance Wireless representative to set it up for me. Unfortunately, I had to factory reset the tablet and now I can't access the email needed to set up my account again. I'm unsure how to proceed to get the tablet set up once more. Additionally, I can't remember the 4-digit pin I initially set up on the tablet.

I currently have Lifeline Service with an active account. Unfortunately, my Motorola Moto G Pure phone recently broke due to a cracked screen. It is paired with California Lifeline through Assurance Wireless. I have the SIM card from the damaged phone, which is still active in my name. I am experiencing frequent service interruptions on my phone, which makes it unusable most of the time. I am in need of my Assurance Wireless account number and PIN to access my account. Additionally, the hotspot feature on my phone is not functioning despite service availability. I received a phone from Assurance Wireless, and I have had issues from the beginning. When I charge the phone, it overheats and shuts off. Even if I am just using the phone, it gets hot and turns off. One day, the phone completely shut off, and I saw Chinese writing on the screen, which was alarming. I have trouble accessing apps; sometimes I have to press the icon 6-8 times without success. I urgently need a replacement phone as I rely on it for my job. I recently received the phones I ordered from your company in the mail. However, upon opening the box, I received a text message indicating that I am no longer eligible for the lifeline program until my service is disconnected. Despite receiving a letter from your company stating that my information is valid until September. I have been attempting to contact Assurance Wireless since last Thursday. I have a plan with unlimited data, talk, and text. After my year ended, I tried another company, SafeLink, but did not hear back from them, so I returned to Assurance. I can only make calls or send texts on my phone. When I spoke to a representative, they advised me to call ACP. ACP informed me to contact my carrier. Assurance mentioned I would need to pay for data, which is incorrect as I did not pay for it previously. ACP confirmed my approval for SafeLink, although I never received any communication from them. I cannot get assistance from Assurance, and after multiple calls, I was provided an account code by ACP showing my SafeLink application. Despite processing my application, Assurance only activated calls and texts, not data. ACP mentioned that my application remained active with Assurance while it appeared off with SafeLink. They suggested trying another carrier like AT&T, who requested a credit report for a phone with calls and text. I found this requirement surprising for a government-funded phone. I am an Assurance Wireless customer without data, and I urgently require assistance to resolve this issue and restore my data access.

My friend keeps getting my messages even though they are on an AT&T plan. Everything in the messages is correct except for my phone number. I have never had their number, never been an AT&T customer, and never shared their number. Despite this, they keep receiving messages intended for me, specifically mentioning Sandra Greene. I am concerned about how this mix-up is happening. This issue has only occurred with your company, so I am curious if you are leaking our information or tracking our numbers without permission.

On May 28, [redacted], I purchased an additional [redacted] minutes for my phone. However, my phone cut off claiming I had no minutes left, despite having $4.90 in reserve and buying the [redacted]-minute package for $5. I only used less than 30 minutes between Sunday and Monday morning. I opted for a $15 unlimited plan to avoid such issues until my next renewal, but my phone still cut off. Upon contacting customer service, they converted my money to $0.10 per minute, depleting $24.90 in total. I am upset by this situation and the poor assistance received. I have Assurance Wireless service provided by the government and reside in Roanoke, Virginia, zip code [redacted]. I have had this service for some time now, offering unlimited talk, text, and data. Suddenly, my phone has stopped functioning; I cannot make or receive calls, send or receive texts, or access the internet. When I visited the Assurance Wireless website and inputted my 10-digit phone number and pin, it indicated that I am no longer enrolled in the government program. Despite my attempts to re-enroll, it has been unsuccessful. There have been no changes in my eligibility for government programs.

I recently had my plan downgraded from unlimited talk, text, and data, to a smaller plan without my consent. I spoke with a representative regarding this issue and was assured the plan would be changed back, but it hasn't happened yet. I rely on my phone for work to clock in and out, and to receive notifications of available shifts. I added about $70 to my account last month just to make calls. I am facing financial difficulties as I am living on a fixed income. My job is part-time, and I cannot afford this sudden change. I am unsure why this modification occurred. When I visited the young lady on 79th and Jeffrey, she processed my application and informed me that I was approved for a free phone. She presented the phone to me, but I declined as I did not want it. Despite my reiterated refusal, she registered the phone under my name without my consent. Upon receiving my Assurance Wireless phone today, I followed the instructions to charge it but encountered issues. Despite changing outlets, using different cords and chargers, the battery still won't charge. I received a phone from Assurance Wireless last month, and since the first day, it keeps turning off and on about [redacted] times a day. I contacted Assurance, and they mentioned I could get a new phone, but they are asking for a $20 shipping fee. I don't understand why I have to pay $20 for a replacement when the phone has been malfunctioning since I received it. I hesitated to report the issue earlier because I wanted to try other solutions. I am considering switching companies because the service is unreliable. Half the time, it works, and the other half, it doesn't.
