Yesterday, I encountered an issue with Agoda's technical platform while attempting to book a stay at the Prince Palace Hotel. When trying to complete the payment, an error message appeared, and I did not receive any confirmation email for my booking. Moreover, upon trying a second time, I received a message stating the booking was already full. Subsequently, I booked another hotel, but later noticed that my credit card was charged for both the first and second attempts. I am seeking assistance from Agoda to rectify this technical error and refund the excess charges on my credit card. Thank you.

During our two-week stay, we have only had housekeeping visit our room once, despite requesting it multiple times. The cleaning process took over 7 hours using a dirty mop, and the bed was not properly made. Our requests for cleaning every 3 days, as per the policy, were never fulfilled. The housekeeping staff seemed unaware of what to do and would disappear when asked. On one occasion, after waiting for 7 hours for cleaning, we found the staff member outside socializing instead of finishing the job promptly. When we asked for cleaning again, the staff laughed and walked away, leaving us disappointed with the service. Eventually, we resorted to washing the bedding and cleaning the room ourselves due to the lack of satisfactory housekeeping.

I am a Malaysian local, and my wife is from Vietnam. On Saturday, 22nd April [redacted], we made a reservation at Ritz Garden Hotel in Ipoh. My wife used her phone with the Agoda app to book the room, but I paid for it with my credit card. When we tried to check-in, we experienced a lengthy delay because the hotel's computer system couldn't find our reference number. Despite my wife not receiving any confirmation email from Agoda after payment, we were asked to wait for nearly two hours at the check-in counter. Frustrated, we went for dinner and returned only to be told my wife needed to pay an additional RM10 as she is a foreigner. Eventually, we paid RM200.23 with the credit card and RM10 in cash. We now request the invoice for these charges.

I am writing to you regarding my recent experience at the apartment I booked in Annecy through Agoda, with a Booking ID [redacted]39. Upon my arrival, I was surprised to be asked to vacate the apartment by Mrs. Fatima, the booking manager, due to a cancellation that allegedly happened the day before. She insisted I move to a much smaller apartment with just a sofa bed, demanding an additional payment of [redacted] Euros. Mrs. Fatima claimed that I had not paid in advance and that others had booked and paid for the same apartment.
As a 61-year-old woman and a professor, I was taken aback by this treatment in a foreign country. I am deeply troubled by the situation and the lack of communication regarding the reservation. Mrs. Fatima mentioned that the issue stemmed from Agoda. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I am considering leaving a negative review of this establishment and discontinuing the use of Agoda if this matter is not rectified promptly.

Subject: Urgent: Issue with Reserved Apartment in Annecy
I urgently need assistance. I arrived at my reserved apartment in Annecy (Booking ID: [redacted]39) two hours ago, which was booked for me through Agoda. However, I was surprised when the lady who gave me the apartment informed me an hour and a half later that the reservation had been canceled the day before. She requested me to vacate the apartment immediately, offering a much smaller one with no proper bedding.
Mrs. Fatima, responsible for bookings at the property, insisted I move to the smaller apartment or find another hotel. She even asked for an additional [redacted] Euros for the alternative accommodation. Despite booking with the pay-at-hotel option, they enforced my eviction, citing that I hadn't paid in advance and other guests had paid.
As a 61-year-old female professor visiting a foreign country, this treatment is unacceptable. Mrs. Fatima blamed Agoda for the issue. I urgently need a resolution to this ordeal to avoid leaving a negative review and ceasing future dealings with Agoda. Your prompt response is appreciated.

My stay was truly horrible. There were gunshot bullet holes in my door, mold in the refrigerator, and incomplete floors. I reached out to a representative who assured me that my complaints would be addressed. I mentioned I preferred accommodation instead of a refund. He promised that someone would contact me in 30 minutes with the necessary details, but unfortunately, I am still waiting for that call. Could someone please get in touch with me regarding my stay? I made a booking for a homestay at Perda with booking ID [redacted]53 on 3 March [redacted]. I asked a friend to help me with the reservation because I was having internet issues. I transferred the money to my friend to assist with the booking. The reservation was made, and the payment was deducted from my friend's account, but the homestay was already full. Upon arrival at the hotel at 12 a.m. on the 29th of April (Saturday), the receptionist behaved inappropriately. On Thursday, May 4th, I attempted to reserve a room through Agoda for Sunday, May 28th, and paid £80.75. Today, The Coach House in Melbourne contacted me, assuming our arrival for tonight. Upon verification, I discovered Agoda inaccurately booked us for tonight, the incorrect date. I distinctly remember selecting the correct date, in addition to requesting a twin-bedded room instead of a double, thus Agoda made two errors. Regrettably, the hotel no longer has availability for our intended date. I urgently need to cancel the reservation for the hotel to rebook the room. I am seeking a full refund due to Agoda's mistakes and the inconvenience caused. The hotel is willing to waive the cancellation fee.
