Hello, this afternoon I was on the website and my information was already filled in automatically. I was looking at hotels for a weekend trip to Barcelona. I saw the hotel advertisement and tried to gather more information about it. After a few minutes, I received an email saying my reservation was confirmed without me accepting any unknown policies or checking any validation boxes or receiving any validation emails to confirm with my bank. Feeling scared, I hurried to find a way to cancel the reservation I didn't make. I managed to cancel it, but unfortunately, I was not refunded because the non-existent reservation did not have a refund policy. I have sent several emails to customer support explaining this situation, but I have not received any responses. I am currently unemployed. Please refund me. I took action immediately. Thank you.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding a booking made on December 28, [redacted], with booking ID [redacted]65 for Lords Inn hotel in Udaipur totaling Rs. 19,[redacted].91. Unfortunately, due to a technical error on Agoda's part, the booking was confirmed for 2 adults and 2 rooms instead of the correct 4 adults and 2 rooms. Consequently, we canceled the booking within an hour on the same day. However, the refund has not been credited back to our account after 17 working days. We have been unable to find a contact number for Agoda India to address this issue. This will be my final email requesting the refund, and if no action is taken, we will pursue legal action against Agoda and the hotel. I kindly ask for a prompt response to resolve this matter.

I reserved and paid for a room with twin beds at Waterloo Hotel and Backpackers in Wellington from Tuesday the 17th to Thursday the 19th. When I arrived, the receptionist informed me they didn't receive my request from Agoda. Despite our efforts to reach Agoda and booking.com for over an hour, my booking couldn't be found, leading us to cancel and find alternative accommodations. Hello, I made a reservation for my wife and mother-in-law in Dubai through your website. Upon arrival, the owner of the place unexpectedly entered and left her phone behind, indicating that another couple would be sharing the flat. Despite it not being specified as a shared flat on Agoda, the owner claimed she intended to rent out the other rooms. This misleading behavior is dishonest and deceptive. The listing should have indicated it was a shared flat to allow guests to make an informed decision. I urge you to address this issue promptly. I am hesitant to share my negative experience publicly until I clarify whether Agoda or the owner is accountable for this situation.

On the 19th of January at 7:34 pm, I made a payment of RM33.56 for a hotel booking at OYO [redacted] Grove Hotel in Kajang through my Agoda account. Upon arrival at 9:25 pm, the reception informed me that the rooms I had paid for were not available as the hotel was fully booked. They advised me to contact Agoda for a refund and provided me with Agoda's helpline number: [redacted]. After the first call to Agoda, I was promised to be relocated to another hotel within 30 minutes by a different department. However, no one contacted me within that time, leaving me stranded in the car with my wife and 8-month-old baby. A second call revealed that my booking was canceled due to a failed interbank transfer, with a promise of an automatic refund within 24 hours. As of today, I have not received the refund despite an email stating I won't receive it due to a No-show status. I am confused about the situation and feel disappointed. I made a reservation at the Gordon House Hotel in Mumbai for a 4-night stay from December 14th to 18th, [redacted]. I later wanted to modify my booking to 3 nights but encountered issues on the Agoda website. Despite canceling the initial booking, it incorrectly shows as completed, and my credit card was charged the full amount of USD350.65. The hotel informed me they received an amendment to the booking with a different guest name. I then booked at the Grand Hotel for 3 nights, but this reservation does not appear in my Agoda account. I have confirmation emails and a request for a review from Agoda for the Grand Hotel stay. Based on these discrepancies, I believe there was a technical problem with Agoda, resulting in the incorrect charges. I am requesting a refund of the charged amount to my American Express account.

I have already contacted Agoda regarding my concerns about a booking. It turns out my worries were justified as the host did not accommodate us properly. I am now seeking a full refund as we did not receive the expected welcome as per our agreement. I am requesting Agoda's assistance in resolving this matter since it is their responsibility to work with hotels that can uphold their standards. Here are the reasons for my request: 1. The host did not honor the contract by not having a room available at 6 pm for our check-in. 2. The host displayed unprofessional and unfriendly behavior, making us share a room against our wishes due to the late hour and isolated location. 3. Promised upgrade was not provided the following day. 4. Missing promised amenities in the room. 5. Lack of daily room service as included in the rate. 6. Room lacks hot water. 7. Concerns about hygiene due to the presence of ants and insects, inadequate housekeeping practices.

Good Afternoon, I was attempting to reserve a room at Hilton DoubleTree in Fiji, but unfortunately, I did not find a suitable room available and I also reached out to the resort to confirm this. I provided my Mastercard Debit Card details in advance to streamline the process upon arrival. Although I was disappointed, I was able to secure accommodations at another resort. I have a strong confidence in the Hilton brand, which led me to join the Hilton Honors site. Regrettably, I encountered difficulties booking the hotel through the Hilton Honors site, which compelled me to make a reservation elsewhere. I had already entered my Mastercard Debit Card information on your hotel website before realizing I couldn't book with you in the end. While I believe this was not intentional, it has caused me significant distress, especially since this trip to Fiji was important to me after a period of saving up for it. I acknowledge the reputable nature of your company, but I am now facing a substantial overdraft in my bank account with no means to rectify it. I have faced numerous challenging situations in recent years, including traumatic incidents at work and severe health issues, including a life-threatening condition. I have contacted my bank regarding the unauthorized charge, and they have advised me to request reimbursement from you directly. Hello, I have booked 2 rooms for 3 people at the Baumanburi Hotel in Patong from 01/30/23 to 02/03/23 through the Agoda app. When I confirmed my reservation, a red banner appeared with a message saying there was a connection problem and to try again. When the connection came back, I confirmed again, but the rate had changed. After finishing, I realized that 2 reservations were validated and debited from my account at the same time. I ended up with 4 rooms at the same hotel on the same dates. I contacted the hotel to explain my issue, and they said they couldn't help and advised me to contact Agoda's customer service. Hello, I made a confirmation booking at OYO [redacted] Ban Sabaidee in Ayutthaya, Thailand, but upon arrival, I was informed I couldn't stay due to issues with the booking agent Agoda. I was offered another room for two nights for [redacted] Baht and was told my original reservation would be canceled. I agreed due to the late hour and distance from the city. The next day, I noticed additional charges on my account and requested a refund with the receipt as proof. Despite assurances from staff, no refund has been processed yet. Thank you.

Good morning, I made a reservation on January 26 using reservation number [redacted]71 and paid via PayPal. I booked two rooms for three people with reservation number [redacted]23. Shortly after, I received an email stating the reservations were canceled due to payment issues. I then resubmitted the reservations and paid for reservation number [redacted]11. Upon checking PayPal, I noticed both reservations were charged, resulting in double payment for the same room and period. I'd like to request the cancellation of one reservation and a refund for the duplicate payment. Additionally, the cancellation emails do not match the reservation numbers I booked, causing confusion. I made a booking with you for the property Royal Nest on January 28th-29th. After a call from Mr. Rajeev at [redacted], he redirected us to another guest house lacking the promised amenities. Upon arrival, we were asked for payment right away. Unhappy with the situation, we asked for a refund, which was denied. It seems like they intentionally misled us, and we believe they should be blacklisted from Agoda for this poor service and deception. It's unacceptable to be treated this way, especially with a young child involved on a late night.

Upon arriving at the hotel to check in, the employee noticed I was from Colombia and said, "Ah, Pablo Escobar." I asked him not to do that because it does not represent my country. He refused to check me in and later informed me that the hotel was canceling my reservation. It is late at night, and I must now go out into the streets of an unfamiliar city without any money since I had already canceled what I had. I asked to speak to the manager, but she rudely replied and said to wait. I waited and later asked the employee about her, and he told me she had gone home and that I could not stay at the hotel any longer. Treating guests this way is unacceptable. Furthermore, one of them threatened to call the police if I did not leave. I did not speak rudely, I was not aggressive, and I did not create any issues. I only asked for respect for my country, which has many good things that represent us instead of something that unfortunately is already part of our history. Thank you for your help.

I spent over USD250 on this booking charged to my Amex. I tried to use the 7% offer coupon voucher on my app while making the booking, but it was unsuccessful. The price kept fluctuating, and I had difficulty applying various coupon vouchers, affecting my ability to secure good hotel prices. Despite the price jumping from $[redacted]+ yesterday to $[redacted] today, I proceeded with the full payment. I am concerned that I was charged the full price without the 7% deduction and have not received confirmation from the hotel or flight yet. My Booking app also does not show any details. I would like to change my bed preference to a twin instead of a queen at the hotel. Additionally, I am unsure if the hotel pick-up airport transfer is included in the package. Regarding my hotel booking on September 6, [redacted], under ID [redacted]17, I received confirmation of full payment of ¥30,[redacted]. However, I have noticed that I am being charged in 10 installments, resulting in extra transaction fees. This arrangement was not authorized by me, and I only discovered it recently while reviewing my bank statement. It seems there might have been a miscommunication between Agoda, possibly Agoda Japan, and the Mastercard bank, leading to this error. I am frustrated by this situation as I am now facing ¥[redacted] processing fees for each of the 10 transactions, along with interest on the outstanding amount.
