I made a reservation with Agoda for Palms Star Suites in Subic, Philippines on Jan 1, only to discover upon arrival that it is being used as a COVID-19 quarantine facility, which Agoda did not inform me about. They refused to accept bookings made through Agoda, leaving me without a place to stay and unable to cancel online. I tried to update my email address from [redacted] to [redacted] on the app, but it was unsuccessful. Agoda needs to refund and cancel the booking since we were not informed about the quarantine situation. Thank you, Madona C.

I made a reservation for a double queen room at Days Inn Miramichi from December 31st to January 2nd through your website. The hotel is supposed to be pet-friendly, and I confirmed this while booking as I have a small dog. However, upon arrival, I was informed that pets are only allowed on the first floor, while my room was on a higher level. Despite my willingness to accept a different room on the ground floor, the staff couldn't make the change and suggested I contact you. This left me stranded with my pet and nowhere to stay. Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to request a refund of TRY 1,[redacted].67 for my booking at the "Ditto Flats" in Istanbul through Agoda. I would also like to report dangerous and unsanitary conditions at the property. My Booking Number is [redacted]75. On the day of arrival, December 16, [redacted], the flat was filthy with mold, mushrooms, bugs, and even a used diaper in the wardrobe. The pictures on Agoda did not accurately reflect the actual state of the flat, which was completely unacceptable. Upon confronting the host about these issues, she was uncooperative and denied any problems, insisting that all apartments in the area were the same. As mold poses serious health risks, especially during a pandemic, we chose not to stay there and found alternative accommodations for the night. Attached to this email are pictures documenting the conditions we encountered. Due to the situation, we booked a different hotel for December 31, [redacted], and January 1, [redacted]. Les frontières ont été fermées par le gouvernement pour les visiteurs jusqu’au 20 janvier, comme confirmé par l'ambassade de Singapour. Je devais quitter Montréal le 28, mais à cause de la fermeture des frontières, je n'ai pas pu me rendre à l'hôtel comme prévu. Je vous avais déjà envoyé un e-mail à ce sujet, mais je n'ai pas reçu de réponse. J'ai également informé ma banque concernant le remboursement effectué pour mon test COVID à mon arrivée. I made a reservation through Agoda for a King Suite at Super 8 in Midvale, Utah, for January 7 - 11. The deal seemed too good to miss at about $50 per night with an advertised 80% discount. After booking, I discovered the stay was non-refundable. Sadly, I made a mistake as the reviews revealed a terrible experience: dirty sheets and towels, lingering odors, and unprofessional staff. Regrettably, I didn't research the hotel before booking. I attempted to contact customer service to resolve the issue and even tried canceling to no avail. The lack of response has left me frustrated with the situation and feeling misled by the false advertising.

Dear Agoda Service Team, During my recent stay at Hotel Reseda in Paris booked through Agoda (booking number [redacted]03), my family and I encountered a series of unfortunate events. Upon arrival after an 8-hour drive, we faced issues with parking and were assigned a room different from what was advertised on Agoda's website. The receptionist, Mr. Rezzak, was unhelpful and insensitive to our concerns. The hotel claimed the parking was full despite multiple empty spaces, forcing us to park at a nearby shopping center. Additionally, we were placed in a room with a single bed and a bunk bed, contrary to the family room we had booked. The room was subpar with poor conditions and an unpleasant odor. Unable to resolve the situation with Mr. Rezzak, we decided to leave the hotel and find alternative accommodation elsewhere for the duration of our stay. I am requesting compensation for the inconvenience caused by this disappointing experience. If no satisfactory resolution is provided, I will have to seek legal advice. I recently checked out of a hotel where I had a terrible experience. The front desk advised me to reach out to adoga for a refund for the last day of my stay. I have been trying to contact the company but have been unable to speak to anyone in person, which is frustrating. The hotel was very dirty with ants and black mold, causing my family to get sick. I am seeking a refund for the last night of my stay and would appreciate a prompt response from a representative to address this issue and compensate me accordingly.

During our family trip, we reserved two rooms - a standard room and a cottage. Despite booking the cottage due to the unavailability of standard rooms, upon arrival, we discovered it was located across the road, isolated, and emitted a strong fish odor from the nearby fish harbor. When we requested a room change, none was accommodated, forcing us to shift to a standard room where pigeons freely roamed the corridors. The property, despite claiming to be family-friendly, had guests drinking on the stairs, and the intoxicated manager, Subhajit J., was unable to assist. An incident with overpriced and delayed food service further soured our stay. The rude staff, lack of amenities, and various room issues like blocked drains and frogs made our experience unpleasant. I would advise against staying at this establishment to others.

I made a booking at Passi Villa in Pasikuda, Sri Lanka through Agoda. I decided to call the hotel and learned that it is currently a level 1 quarantine hotel. Thankfully, I could cancel my booking without any charges. If I hadn't found out beforehand, I would have been directed to Marina Beach, which wasn't my preference. Agoda should provide clearer information about hotels designated for quarantine to avoid inconveniencing travelers. This situation could have been avoided if there had been proper communication about the hotel's restrictions.

I have tried everything to get a refund, but it's been frustrating. This booking has been my worst experience ever. No progress has been made since my initial email and talking to Agoda customer service hasn't helped either. I made a booking online, only to find out upon arrival that the property didn't even exist! It should have been removed from Agoda's website if it's not operational. I refuse to pay for a booking that was non-existent. I demand my money back immediately! I can't even reach you by phone, which is ridiculous. Your 10 years in operation do not reflect good customer service. I suspect the issue lies between you and Agoda. Please resolve this and refund the 2,[redacted].81 pesos to my account. I would like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered with my reservation at Queen Julie Lodge Best Sea View in Atlantic Seaboard. I had booked a 35m² 5-bedroom villa with 4 private bathrooms under reservation number [redacted]03. To my dismay, upon arrival, I discovered that the hotel was fully booked. Despite trying to reach out by phone, I received no response from the owner. Through another guest's help, I came to know that the current owner does not utilize Agoda and was surprised by Agoda guests showing up unannounced. The guest shared the contact information of the rightful owner with me, who explained that the previous owner continued to rent out the hotel through Agoda despite no longer managing it. The inability to contact the previous owner led me to search for alternative accommodations. Regrettably, I have been unable to resolve this matter with Agoda directly as they do not have a specific contact form for such issues. I am seeking a refund for the expenses incurred due to this situation.

I am contacting you in regards to my recent booking at the Taj Lands End Mumbai from December 31st, [redacted], to January 2nd, [redacted]. During check-in at the hotel, I requested the Front Desk to include my Company and GST Details on the Final Invoice for Input Tax Credit. They advised me to contact Agoda as they are the booking service provider. According to the Taj Lands End team, Agoda needs to request their finance team to make the necessary additions to the Invoice. I also confirmed during Check-out if the Taj finance team could still accommodate the changes post-booking completion, and they assured me that they could. Thank you for your email. I am extremely disappointed with the presence of cockroaches in our 4-star hotel in multiple rooms. We were offered to move to another suite, but this didn't solve the issue since the problem was spread across various rooms and even in the hallway, which we have on video. Regarding room service, we only had breakfast once a week due to missing items and poor quality in three out of the four rooms. On two occasions, we faced challenges with transportation that were uncomfortable and inconvenient. I am puzzled by your response as it does not align with the reality of our experience. The hotel manager attempted to have us sign a document that inaccurately reflected our complaints. We believe we are entitled to a full refund due to the unacceptable conditions we encountered during our stay. Our disappointing experience at Time Oak Dubai from December 14th to December 27th in rooms [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] must be addressed appropriately. We have filed complaints with Agoda and our insurance company seeking fair compensation for the inconvenience and unsatisfactory service we received.

I made a hotel reservation in Boracay, Philippines from January 12 to 14 with reference code [redacted]16. Unfortunately, I accidentally entered the wrong email address. My correct email should be “[redacted]”. After reviewing the screenshot of the confirmation, I noticed that I mistakenly entered “[redacted]”, which is why I haven't received the confirmation email from Agoda. Hello, we recently made a booking through Agoda while we were in Airlie Beach. However, after receiving the confirmation email, we realized the room location was in Gladstone instead. We promptly canceled the booking within 3 minutes but were still charged. The hotel mentioned they could not refund us directly and suggested contacting Agoda for assistance. We initially emailed Agoda about the issue but have not received a response.

I am requesting two refunds for bookings I made recently. Firstly, I attempted to cancel my reservation at Great Eastern Valley Residency through Agoda well in advance, but they refused my cancellation and instructed me to contact the hotel directly. The hotel agreed to cancel, but I have not received my refund. Secondly, on the 27th, I arrived at Floret Yumthang to find out Agoda hadn't paid the hotel since February, resulting in me having to pay for the room again in cash to avoid any inconvenience for my family. It seems bookings through Agoda are not honored by hotels and Agoda does not transfer payments. I am requesting a full refund totalling Rs 8,[redacted] for both bookings. Failure to do so may result in a formal complaint being filed against Agoda.
