When I called this number, I was asked for the reason I was calling and asked to speak to a representative.
The system told me that it would put me through, but it needed more information before it would put me through so it could get me to the right person. I then said that I was calling for information about making an order, and the system said that it needed the phone number associated with my account.
I provided my phone number, which was not in the system, and was told that this number did not match anything that was in the system. I entered it again to see if I could bypass the checkpoint, and the system again would not let me past. At this point, it told me that we could try another way, which would be me entering the 10-digit alternate ID associated with my account.
As this is a phone number, this isn't any different from the first option that didn't work. Just to check, I entered my phone number one more time and was again told that I wasn't in the system. I tried telling the system I did not have an ID number, but it didn't respond to that. With no other options, I ended the call.
Overall, I was surprised by how difficult it was to get through the chokepoints. I suppose this cuts down on wasted time, but it makes it very difficult for any shopper to call customer service if they haven't signed up for an account. Unless you have one, I wouldn't use this number for help.
