I am currently at my local Kroger store, specifically Store #[redacted] located at [redacted] Steve Reynolds Blvd. When I used the self-checkout, I had $11.46 in my account. I intended to get $10 cash back to settle the remaining balance at my hotel. However, the register mistakenly charged me $1.77. I bought two bags of chips priced at $1 each with a tax of $0.02. Strangely, I only received $0.75 in cash back instead of the $10 I requested. While my bank account shows the correct $10 cash back transaction, the store receipt indicates I only received $0.75.

I have been experiencing difficulty with Kroger's digital coupons not being redeemed and being charged more than the shelf price for products, which has been happening more frequently. I believe it is unfair to the store staff to consistently handle these issues. Last night, the office was closed, and an employee informed me that I would need to wait ten minutes to speak with them. This response struck a nerve with me as I understand, as a former customer service representative, that customers should not be treated that way. During my recent visit, five digital coupons did not apply, and hot dogs priced at 2 for $6 were rung up at the regular price. I have been advised not to shop at Kroger on Wednesdays due to delayed digital coupon uploads. I think digital coupons disadvantage shoppers without access or understanding of technology. Initially, cashiers could manually apply coupons from a list, but this seems to have changed. The decline in customer service quality at Kroger concerns me. I have been a loyal customer for 56 years, but improvements need to be made to ensure accurate pricing and product availability. I find the self-checkout process frustrating as discrepancies may go unnoticed. I am disappointed that employees have to constantly address issues like mine. If an item is advertised at a certain price, I expect to pay that amount without complications. Last night, all the drinking water was part of a digital coupon, and my husband had to seek assistance to locate unstocked items. It is frustrating when products are missing from shelves, and clear signage should be displayed if items are out of stock.

I am feeling incredibly upset and frustrated. This isn't the first time I've encountered issues with my orders. I have been a loyal customer for years, but recent experiences have been disappointing. The first incident involved a delivery person bringing the wrong items, driving around aimlessly, and then returning my order to the store without notifying me. The second time, my order was not fulfilled because the shopper claimed the store was closed when it wasn't. Lastly, my most recent order was rescheduled multiple times without proper communication, causing great inconvenience. I believe I deserve some form of compensation or resolution for these recurring problems. I order weekly and value the service, but the delivery issues are becoming unbearable, especially since I rely on them for my family, including my grandchildren. I hope this can be addressed promptly. Thank you.

I am a member of the Boston Terrier Rescue of East TN participating in the Kroger community support program for non-profits. Recently, a check from Kroger dated 9/28/[redacted] was returned as not cashable due to an account/routing ribbon defect. I have been attempting to resolve this issue for approximately 3 hours. Kroger attempted to reach out but provided only a brief window, resulting in a missed call. I am frustrated by the lack of resolution on this matter.

I, J. Lumpkin, ordered $90 worth of groceries for my family, which includes 5 children and 2 adults. Unfortunately, the driver, Larry, at the Woodforrest Boulevard store in Channelview, TX [redacted], did not follow instructions. He was supposed to honk twice upon delivery but failed to do so. Instead, he left the groceries on my neighbor's porch without confirming the correct address. This lack of responsibility and effort is concerning. I believe that this driver's actions warrant termination. If this matter is not resolved, I will have to contact the Better Business Bureau about this issue.

According to employees at the Nashboro Village Kroger in Nashville, TN, corporate Kroger will be phasing out cashier checkout lines and relying entirely on self-checkout. I do not work for you guys. You do not discount my items for checking myself out. I rely on my cashier to properly scan my items, look up unmarked items, and the bagger to safely prepare my groceries for transportation to my home. If this is indeed what Kroger has planned for its customers, you may count me out!
I can only imagine the chaos at holiday times with the number of items purchased by individuals stacking up in those tiny areas you have allotted for groceries. Yes, there are ways to work around that, but I bet a dollar to a donut that no one in corporate has ever seen a crowded store at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Get a clue and hire more cashiers!

I recently placed an order for groceries due to my physical disability preventing me from carrying them. Unfortunately, the delivery person was unable to enter the building and left the groceries outside without waiting for my assistance. I promptly responded, but she had already left. While I managed to get help to bring the groceries in, I am upset by the lack of consideration for my situation. This has happened before, but previous drivers were more communicative about the access problem. It's vital for those with mobility challenges to rely on this delivery service, and the driver's actions were disappointing. I don't require a refund, as the groceries are fine, but I wanted to bring this issue to your attention for future improvement.

I contacted customer service to add fuel points to my account, but the representative was unfamiliar with the request. After a brief hold, the call abruptly ended with a peculiar inquiry about wanting the same representative if I were to call back. Following this, my shopper's card failed at the fuel pump, prompting me to visit the store where I was given an application to reapply. However, when trying to link the new card number, an error message indicated a mismatch with my account. I urgently require assistance in connecting the new card while maintaining the old number for my husband’s use, along with ensuring my recent fuel transaction gets credited to my account correctly.

I visited the Spring Valley Kroget last Friday and unfortunately slipped on a piece of fruit causing immediate pain. I reported it to the manager of the fruit section and later to Philip, the store manager, as the pain worsened while shopping. Even though Philip mentioned checking the security footage, I had to leave due to my injury after waiting for about 20 minutes. I provided my phone number for contact, but it's now Monday, October 30th, and I haven't received a follow-up call despite trying to reach out to the store several times with no answer. I managed the pain over the weekend, but the lack of response from Kroger is disappointing. The customer service experience was poor in this situation.

Today at 1:23 p.m., I purchased $41.92 worth of groceries. When I unpacked the bags at home, I noticed that 2 one-pound packages of ground sirloin were missing. Despite making 2 calls to the store supervisor, the issue remains unresolved. I have had a previous negative experience with the store management earlier this year, which was also not addressed satisfactorily. As a disabled individual on a fixed income relying on food stamps, any loss incurs valuable time and money. I believe it is reasonable to ask for the missing items to be delivered or to receive compensation for my time and expenses. Kindly reach out to me with your proposed solution at [redacted] or [redacted].

I visited your Lake City Kroger store yesterday. I was exhausted from work and needed to grab a few things without having to stop by my bank. I withdrew forty dollars at the self-checkout, only to realize much later that I had left it behind. After calling and speaking with the manager on the phone, I inquired about the missing money. The manager indicated that a customer had taken it and mentioned they could review the security cameras. The cashier who found the money deserves my thanks for being honest, but the behavior of the manager on duty was unsatisfactory in the way she communicated over the phone. Despite being a regular customer, I have decided to start shopping at Walmart instead.
