Calling Globe Life Insurance was fairly straightforward and productive, as long as you're willing to provide some information about yourself. When I called, I was taken to the main menu and asked to state the purpose of my call. Some of the options included things such as paying my bill, checking the status of my account or getting a quote.
I opted to get a quote and was quickly connected to a representative, who asked if I had an offer code of some kind. I told her I did not, and she asked me how she could assist me. I said that I was interested in finding out how much life insurance would cost and wanted a quote. She then asked if the quote was just for me or for anyone else, and I said that it was just for me.
She then asked where I was calling from, and I told her that I was in Florida. She asked me to provide an address, which I did, as well as my birthdate. Once I had all of this information given to her, she entered it into the system and told me that insurance would cost me $23.54 per month based on my information.
I asked if there was anything else I needed to know, and she said there was not, unless I had any specific questions. I said there were not and thanked her for the information before ending the call.
Based on this, I'm not sure why I needed to provide my address, as Globe Life has a chart for age and gender for your rates, and her number matched it exactly. It seemed to be superfluous, which has me a little hesitant about using this number in the future. The service was fine, but collecting unnecessary information isn't a good thing.
