How Do I Unlock My eToro Account?

You try to log into eToro to find your account is blocked/locked, or your login credentials don't seem to be working. What steps do you need to take? How do you unlock your account? Resetting Password

If the issue is a forgotten password, you can simply reset it to regain access to your account. To reset your password, follow these steps:

1. Open eToro in your browser.
2. Click "Login" in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Enter your Username and Password (if you cannot remember the password, enter what you think it may be).
4. You will see an option to reset your password once you enter the invalid entry.
5. Select "Forgot Password."
6. Key in the email address your registered with eToro.
7. Click "Submit."
8. Go to your inbox and locate the reset email from eToro. Click the link in the email and reset your password.
9. You can now log into your account.

Unlocking Account

To unlock an account that has been blocked, you must contact eToro customer support by doing the following:

1. Open eToro in your browser.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Customer Service" under "Support."
3. Select "Existing User" if you can log into your account or "Visitor" if you are unable to log into your account.
4. Select "Open a New Ticket."
5. Enter your name.
6. Key in your eToro registered email address.
7. Under "Type of Query" select "General Question."
8. In the subject field, type "Account Locked/Blocked."
9. Describe the issue in the body of the ticket.
10. Upload any files to support your ticket.
11. Click "Send email" to submit your helpdesk request.

Troubleshooting Other Issues

If you can still access your account, but certain features (such as buying or selling) seem to be blocked, make sure you have completed the verification process. Was the account closed? If you have closed the account, you cannot reopen it and you will have to create a new one. Was the account compromised?
