Truist offers an auto payment plan, where customers can pay bills without worrying about remembering when payments are due. However, there may come a time when you need to cancel this service for one reason or another. Here are the steps to cancel an auto payment with Truist.
You'll first need to log in to your Truist account to cancel an auto payment. Click the Login button and enter your username and password. It will take you to your dashboard. You can navigate through the different sections of your account.
Scroll down until you find My Payments under the Accounts section and click on it. It will take you directly to My Payments page, where Truist lists your payments.
If you want to cancel an auto payment but don't remember which one it is or if you have made more than one auto payment for a particular biller, click the drop-down menu next to each entry.
Look for the payment you want to cancel. This will be easy if you know which bill it is. Type its name into the search bar and click Search. Otherwise, scroll through the list until you find it.
Go to your dashboard and click My Account. Select Billing. Scroll to Auto Pay and select it. Choose the Cancel Auto Payment option and click on the link.
Choose to confirm cancellation will take you to a page where you have to enter your username, password and email address. This will redirect you to a confirmation page.
You need to check the boxes after entering your information and press Continue. After doing so, you'll receive an email confirming it has canceled your auto pay.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
