How Do I Cancel My Trip with Intercontinental Hotels?

Log into your account on the Intercontinental Hotels website to cancel your reservation. Click My Account, My Reservations and select the reservation you want to cancel. Travelers understand the importance of having a great hotel when they travel. People make reservations for hotels in advance, but sometimes the situation arises that the guests have to cancel their trip for one reason or another. Here are the steps to cancel your trip with Intercontinental Hotels.

1. Log Into Your Account

To cancel your trip with Intercontinental Hotels, log in to your account on the Intercontinental Hotels website. You can log in by entering your email address and password or by clicking Forgot Password and then entering your email address.

If you have more than one reservation associated with that email address, you will be asked to select which reservation you would like to cancel.

2. Click My Account

Selecting My Account will take you to a page where you can manage your reservations. Look for the reservation you want to cancel and click on it.

Next, scroll down and click Cancel. You'll be given the option to cancel only the intended reservation or future reservations under your account.

3. Select Reason for Cancellation

You will then be required to select your reason for canceling the trip. If you choose Change in My Travel Plans, you will be prompted to specify your new plans. You will have the option of selecting Other as a reason.

4. Click Cancel My Trip

You'll be taken to a page with your account information in My Account section. In My Bookings section, click the link that says Cancel Reservation. This will bring up a new page where you can cancel your reservation.

You will be asked if you are sure you want to cancel your reservation. Click Yes. My Bookings page will say that your reservation has been canceled successfully.

5. Confirmation Email

Intercontinental Hotels Resorts will email a confirmation message once its team has verified your cancellation request. Once you receive your cancellation confirmation email, it is important to review it carefully because it contains instructions on how to inquire if there is a mistake made during the cancellation process.
