Introduction

After opening an account with Chase, go to the official website or download the app to enroll your account. Just fill out the required fields, including the Social Security number. Chase will also ask you to create a username and password before you can start using your account. Tap Next and follow the on-screen instructions to enroll your account. Now, if your account is already enrolled and you can't access it, there are ways to recover your Chase account. Read this guide to regain access to your account.

Tap Forgot Password

To get started, go to Chase's sign-in page and click Forgot Password.

Confirm your identity by entering your Social Security number and account or application number. Tap Next and follow the on-screen instructions to successfully regain access to your Chase account.

If you want to recover a business account, click Are you an authorized user or a business or commercial and follow the instructions.

Once you've recovered your account, keep your account fully secure to avoid problems in the future.

Sign Up for 2-Step Verification

You can do this by signing in to your Chase account. Visit your profile and go to Security. From there, you'll be able to set up the 2-step verification process. After signing in, Chase will verify your identity by asking you to enter a one-time code to access your account.

Don't forget to also set up account alerts to get notifications when there's a withdrawal or other activity on your account. You can do all this by logging in to your Chase account. Make sure to also update your contact information with Chase, so they can contact you immediately in case there are suspicious activities on your account.

Visit the Chase Account Security Page

You can monitor your account by visiting the account security page, where you can reset your password or report fraud. Just follow the on-screen instructions or contact Chase directly if you have questions or concerns about your account.

Chase customers can proactively protect their accounts. At the same time, Chase also utilizes several security tools to safeguard all your accounts with them. They have a dedicated team that monitors for fraud 24/7 and can call, text, or email you for any suspicious activities on your account. If you have the Chase app, take advantage of Face ID or Touch ID to ensure no one else will have access to your account.

If Chase suspects a problem with your account, they can also temporarily place a hold on it to prevent unauthorized access. Don't worry, you will be notified of the hold. If there's an unusual login to your account, Chase will also do further validation checks to make sure it's you. And of course, they use data encryption to better protect your accounts.

Conclusion

How else can you protect your account with Chase? Consider setting up paper statements to ensure fraudsters don't steal your information. Make sure to use the latest applications and browsers to protect your account against any vulnerabilities. Don't forget to also set up alerts when there are changes to your credit report. You'll also be able to keep track of where your cards are stored and track device logins. Just sign in to your account to get access to these security features. Are you still having issues with your account? Don't hesitate to get in touch with Customer Support.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Chase Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
