Opening Your Bittrex Account

To open your own Bittrex account and start buying, selling or trading cryptocurrency, follow the steps outlined below.

1. Open Bittrex on your computer.
2. Click on "Account," then choose "Register."

5. Create a password that is a minimum of 12 characters long and contains letters, numbers and symbols.
6. Click "Create Account."
7. Open your inbox and find your welcome email from Bittrex.
8. Click on the link in the email to verify your email address.
9. Carefully review the terms of service and accept terms of service.
10. You will be directed to your basic profile page to enter your profile information.
11. Complete the form that appears on the screen using all English characters (these are the only type characters that can be verified by the platform).
12. Click "Continue" to move on to the ID verification section.
13. You must submit a copy of a government issued identification for verification to use Bittrex. Select "Start Verification."
14. You must submit a photo of your government identification along with a selfie of your full face for identity verification. Note: some forms of identification require both the front and back of the ID be submitted. Follow the instructions very carefully to avoid issues.
15. You may have to wait up to 10 minutes for the identification verification to be complete. Once your ID has been verified, you will automatically be moved to the next step.

17. You will have to enter a social security or tax identification number. If you do not have a social security number you will have to enter an alien identification number or passport number.
