If you do not have a verified account, then you can only deposit cryptocurrency. That means you can't deposit any fiat currency such as the US dollar. Specifically, you have to deposit one of the types of crypto that Bittrex uses as a base currency: Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), or Ethereum (ETH).
