How Do I Buy Coins on Bittrex?

Getting Your Account Verified

To buy crypto on Bittrex, you need a verified account. Otherwise, you are restricted to trading one kind of crypto for another. To get your account verified, follow these instructions:

  1. Get out your driver's license, passport or state ID.
  2. Make sure there's a good camera hooked up to your computer.
  3. Go to the Bittrex website.
  4. Log into your account.
  5. Go to your Profile page.
  6. Click on Start Verification.
  7. Take a photo of your government ID when prompted to. Make sure it is a good, clear photo without anything obscured and without glare.
  8. Take a picture of your face when prompted to.
  9. Wait for verification. This should take no more than 10 minutes or so. If the verification failed, you will be prompted to go back and repeat the previous steps.

How To Buy Crypto on the Bittrex Website

To buy crypto with a desktop or laptop, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to the Bittrex website.
  2. Log in.
  3. Click on Instant Buy and Sell in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
  4. Click on the kind of coin you would like to buy.
  5. Enter the amount of crypto you want to purchase.
  6. Choose a payment method.
  7. Click on Confirm.

How To Buy Crypto With the Bittrex App

To buy with the app, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the app and log in.
  2. Tap on Instant in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page.
  3. Tap the coin you want to buy.
  4. Enter the amount.
  5. Pick a payment method.
  6. Tap on Confirm.
