  3. A new page will appear prompting you to enter the last six digits of your account number. If you do not know your account number, look for one of your paper bank statements and retrieve it from there.
  4. Enter your social security number (SSN) and click on the "continue" option. If you do not have a social security number, click on the "don't have an SSN or TIN" option.
  5. You will be prompted to enter your savings account number. Enter it and click on the "continue" option.
  6. Enter your debit card pin and its last six digits in the blanks that will appear and click "continue". You will be required to enter and verify a new password. Enter a unique and strong password.
  7. You will then get a confirmation message saying that your username and password have been reset.
  8. Log into your Bank of America online banking account using the new credentials. If you do not get the password reset confirmation message, contact Bank of America.
