What Do I Do If My Amazon Prime Delivery Is Missing?

Amazon Prime members who have issues with missing deliveries can take steps to find out what happened. Customer service, chat, and notes visible regarding the status of an impending delivery can help customers track a missing order. You can use the website to gather more information about your missing delivery or call customer service to get any information that's not available.

Call Customer Service

If you suspect that your order is later or missing, or know that the ETA for delivery has already passed, call customer service. Customer service will go through the steps needed to track an order and determine what happened. A customer service representative can use your Amazon Prime Membership information to access your orders and track them. If something happened to your delivery, a customer service representative can help resolve the issue or request that your order be re-delivered if necessary. Customer service can determine if the order was ever shipped, where it is, and when it shipped.

Log Into Your Prime Account

Members can also log in to their Prime account and click on the orders screen. The status of the order in question should be visible. There may have been an issue with a payment option or a delivery may have been delayed for one reason or another. If the delivery was delayed a new delivery date may be listed. If not, you may need to call customer service for more information regarding the whereabouts of your delivery and other possible things that may have delayed your delivery. There are many reasons why delivery may be missing, late, or may never arrive. The status and information about your order may be noted in the status update. However, if you need more detail or wish to request redelivery or a refund, you can always call customer service.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Amazon Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
