How do I get through the phone menu to a live person?

Consider using our free service that calls and talks to customer service for you, then sends you a report. Or use our free service that waits on hold and tells you when a human rep is on the line. But if those options don't appeal to you, our team has also documented the phone menu for HTC below.

Let us call and talk to HTC for you

Our AI powered phone can dial, navigate the phone menu, wait on hold, and even talk to customer service for you, for free. You don't even need to learn about the path through the various phone options.

We can get a live person on the line for you

That same, free GetHuman Phone can call and navigate the menus and wait on hold for you, but you can opt to do all the talking. We notify you when a rep is on the line and ready to talk, so no need to worry about changing menu options and weaving your way through the maze.
Of course, we completely understand if you prefer to do all the dialing, waiting, and talking yourself. All of these free tools are optional.
GetHuman researchers routinely call this HTC phone number to document the phone system.
Here is our latest tip for weaving through the phone menu to get to a real person the fastest: Direct to a human

What are the hours and when should I call?

HTC operates the call center for this 800-824-6779 phone number Mon-Fri 8am-9pm, Sat 8am-5pm ET. The short answer is that you should call on a Friday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 188 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).

Automatically call when they open

When you use our free AI-powered phone to call and talk, wait on hold, or navigate for you, it will automatically wait until the HTC call center opens before trying to call. It will ask your permission before it places the call, so you can also further delay that scheduled call until you are ready. But that means you can "set it and forget it" ahead of time.
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this HTC phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like HTC staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.

The least busy time to call

The least busy day to call HTC is Saturday. The most busy day to call is Monday, which averages 254% more phone calls by comparison. Again, this is based on a sample of 188 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

The shortest wait on hold

We measured the shortest hold times to be on Thursday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Friday.
But if you use our free call and talk for me or wait on hold for me service, you don't really need to worry about average wait times.

The best time to call HTC

In summation, the best day to call HTC is Friday.

Calling this HTC Customer Number

Calling this number was unproductive because of the fact that HTC doesn't serve any location except South Carolina. Getting a hold of someone was fairly easy, as you simply have to go through a brief menu and ask for services, but once you get connected, you have to have a South Carolina address to get an account.

This was unknown to me, as I found out upon getting connected with the representative. I asked her what the cost would be to sign up for services with HTC, and she said that she could provide me with a quote after collecting some information from me. First, she wanted to know if I had ever had services with HTC before, and I told her that I had not. She then asked to provide my address, and I gave an address in southern Florida.

At that point, she told me that HTC did not serve Florida and was only available in South Carolina. I apologized for the confusion, as she told me that HTC would not be able to provide services for me. With nothing else left to figure out, I hung up the phone.

A check of the website reveals that HTC's internet service page is not the first thing that comes up, as an electronics corporation called HTC USA also comes up above the HTC website. If someone is searching for HTC, they might get confused because the HTC USA site offers services nationwide. The site and phone number do nothing to tell you that they're only available in South Carolina; if you don't already know, you could easily waste time on this call.

The conversation was quick and friendly, so I would recommend using this number if you can get HTC. However, do not use this number if you aren't a South Carolina customer.

As a last, sometimes only, resort- HTC customer service can be accessed through their website.
