The item never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it would be delayed by Xmas mail and it was not long enough to contact Royal Mail to say it was lost . It still did not come and the tracking number did not give delivered status. I contacted the seller again after Christmas who checked with Royal Mail and said it had been lost and I must make a claim for a refund with them. He sent me a proof of posting document that was illegible so I had to request it again. I went on Royal Mail lost items claims and was unable to vmcomplete the form because I was required to give personal information about the seller which I was not privy to as it is not part of Ebay sales. Somewhat fed up of batting back and forth and trying to fill in this Royal Mail form several times now and knowing that when I worked for Royal Mail the sender had to claim for lost items not the recipient, I mailed the seller. Telling him of my difficulty and asking he make the claim with Royal Mail and refund me. That was about a week ago and he has not responded. Previously his replies were prompt. I found a bit in my purchase page where I could do this request and make it official. Which I have done. But my request by Ebay Mail has already had no response for some days. I feel the seller has been happy to put all the work on getting a refund on me when he was the person who posted and I feel he should do this also he appears to be unwilling to respond to my request. I have never had a problem with a seller like this before. Please could you advise where I stand
