Dear Sirs, I received a message from eBay regarding a refund. It appears that they have issued me a full refund of $[redacted].88 on Jan 16, [redacted], for the purchase of the Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone. eBay's Customer Support has made a final decision in my favor due to the lack of valid tracking information from the seller. The refund includes the purchase price and original shipping cost, and it has been credited to my PayPal account. If I don't see it in my PayPal balance, I should check the History page. The refund was for the item purchased for $80.00 from seller owen.lonn under case number [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance, Robert Ratonyi

Dear eBay, I am reaching out for assistance regarding an item I purchased at auction on December 29th. The item ID is [redacted]37, sold by the seller with ID percytackle_two, and the return ID is [redacted]. Upon receiving the item, I was asked by customs to pay DKK [redacted] for taxes, which was an unexpected expense. Due to this additional cost, I decided to return the item. I promptly informed the seller, who agreed to the return. I coordinated with customs in Denmark to reject the package and arranged for its return to the seller via USPS. The package can be tracked using the number CJ[redacted]16US. Despite my attempts to contact the seller, I have not received a response. Unfortunately, when I try to mark the item as shipped, the tracking number provided is not being accepted by the system. I kindly request your assistance in facilitating the refund process for this return. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Hysen M.

Hello, I am reaching out from Israel, and the seller is willing to ship internationally. I made an offer for a shirt that I am interested in, and the offer was accepted. Despite trying to pay with my rechargeable post office credit card directly during checkout, I have encountered issues with the payment process. PayPal does not accept my card, even though it has been used successfully in the past. I have attempted to pay through the eBay app and website on both computer and smartphone platforms. However, each time I try to complete the payment, I receive an error message indicating that the payment cannot be processed. My credit card is a Visa, with sufficient funds and a valid expiration date, and my account is verified. The seller has even relisted the item to address any issues with the initial invoice, but the problem persists. I am hoping for a solution to finalize the purchase and ensure a smooth transaction with the seller. Thank you.

I contacted the seller (foryesthill) after they falsely claimed to be in the United States while actually located in China. It's disappointing when sellers misrepresent their location, as it affects trust in known platforms like eBay. The seller listed their items as being in Fremont, California, but the tracking number reveals it's not true. The item hasn't moved in 11 days and is stuck in China. I've requested a cancellation and refund due to this misleading information. I sent a message to the seller expressing my concerns and disappointment. Moving forward, I will purchase directly from the manufacturer to ensure authenticity and proper service. I've asked for confirmation of the cancellation and refund process. Thank you, Jennifer eBay Username: jkle4996.

I recently received emails about my car purchase on eBay.co.uk and believed they were from eBay. I proceeded to make a payment of £[redacted] through a bank transfer for a BMW X1. Subsequently, I realized it may be a scam as eBay only accepts PayPal and cannot view my purchase history. The email I received detailing the transaction is provided below. I am now concerned as the scammers are requesting a further £[redacted] for shipping. I have already informed my bank, but since I paid with my debit card, I have not had any success in resolving this issue. I seek advice on what steps I can take. If you reply to this message, I can provide you with the complete email communication I received from the scammer.

I recently purchased a jacket on eBay, with the seller offering a "Money Back Guarantee" return policy within 30 days. After not hearing back from the seller for a week, I returned the item myself as it was too small. However, when the seller finally responded, they claimed I couldn't return it despite the guarantee. It's been a few weeks since I sent the item back, and I noticed it's still sitting in Issaquah, Washington, marked as "Ready for Pickup" since Jan 14th. I am seeking a refund for this item. The seller initially delayed sending the jacket as it was lost in transit, and it only arrived at my place on Dec 10th. I'd appreciate any insights or advice on how to proceed. Thank you. Subject: Concern Regarding Undelivered Laptop Order Dear eBay Customer Support, I am writing to express my frustration regarding a laptop order that was marked as 'delivered in Nailsea.' Despite diligent efforts, I have been unable to locate the package at either my current or previous address, and inquiries with neighbors and residents have yielded no leads. Royal Mail has also been unable to provide further details. I am deeply concerned about the lack of assistance from eBay in situations like this, where sellers are left without the item or the funds. The forced refund has put my PayPal account in arrears, leading to debt collectors pursuing me for £50, which adds to the distress caused by this incident. I suspect fraudulent activity, where the laptop was retained by the buyer who falsely claimed non-receipt. This experience has been both frustrating and inconvenient, particularly given my history as a reliable seller on eBay. I urge for a swift resolution, including reversing the PayPal refund, failing which I may escalate this matter to the Ombudsman and Watchdog for further intervention. Sincerely, Victoria W.

Case ID : [redacted] Seller ID : us2015.vaima Request reason : Request for return On January 5, [redacted], I placed an order for 10 Launch Golo Carcare connectors from the Canadian eBay user us2015.vaima totaling $1,[redacted].96 USD. The user shipped the items, but there was a delay due to missing papers, and the items were held at a UPS center in Canada. I requested the seller to cancel the order while the items were still in Canada, and after some back and forth, he agreed to accept the return. The items were then mistakenly sent to my country, creating delays and confusion. Eventually, the customs in Germany and my country were involved, and the items were returned to the seller as per our agreement. Despite this, the seller raised a dispute on January 17, [redacted], about not receiving the items while they were already on their way back to him. I've incurred additional costs due to this return, approximately [redacted] EUR in shipping fees, and I urgently need assistance in getting my refund processed. The seller initially agreed to the return but has now caused complications in acknowledging the receipt of the returned items, putting my significant investment at risk. I can provide all relevant documents to support my case. Please review the details and help facilitate the refund process. Regards, Borut Hren (eBay name: mobiking-si)

Ebay's handling of my situation with a buyer is incredibly frustrating. I currently have a negative balance on my account because I believe the buyer intends to send me a fake item and keep my genuine one. This has resulted in PayPal deducting $[redacted] from my account. Additionally, another item I sold for $[redacted] is being held, and when the funds are released, it will only cover part of the negative balance. I am dissatisfied with this experience and am considering closing my eBay store after this issue is resolved. It is unreasonable for my account to be negatively impacted based solely on the buyer's claims. eBay has advised me to wait until I receive the item back to file a claim, but this delay is affecting my ability to continue selling. I feel like I am being treated as guilty until proven innocent, which is affecting my overall sales. I am contemplating taking legal action because not only am I allegedly being scammed out of a valuable item, but the flawed system is also impacting my other transactions. I am demanding the return of my item or the owed money.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding an issue with a purchase from a Chinese vendor, which relates to RETURN ID [redacted] and ITEM #: [redacted]65. The items received are not as described; they are essentially useless objects resembling files but lacking the specified size variations. The vendor initially offered a $3 refund, then increased it to $6 or a full refund upon return. However, the return conditions would cost more than the item itself, as they require registered mail. I am hesitant about accepting the $6 offer and am questioning if Buyer Protection will cover me in this scenario. I feel eBay is resembling platforms like ALIBABA and DHGATE more each day, although I acknowledge not all Chinese products are of poor quality. Your prompt guidance on this matter would be appreciated.

From: L. Nasti Subject: Re: Fees, credits, and invoices Date: 2 February [redacted] To: [redacted] Thank you for addressing my previous email promptly. I appreciate your help. I apologize for providing the incorrect reference number in my previous message. The item in question, listed during the promotion period of 11-12 March [redacted], incurred £1 FV fees. It was sold on 4 April within the 28-day period, as shown in the attached screenshot of the relevant invoice. I hope this clarification assists in processing the refund to my PayPal account. Kind regards, L. Nasti

I am a first-time eBay user and recently purchased an item (seller account # [redacted]05) - a Miami Inflatable Portable 4 Person Lay-Z-Spa with Soothing Jets. I have already paid for the item, and it was withdrawn from my PayPal within 24 hours. eBay sent me an email informing me that they have removed the seller due to concerns with the account, reassuring me that my item will arrive soon and advising me to contact the resolution center if it doesn't. Unfortunately, someone has attempted to access my PayPal account from a different location. This experience has left me displeased, and I urge eBay to track down the scammer and take legal action. My order delivery date was February 5, [redacted], but I have not received any tracking information or updates. I would like eBay to honor the purchase and expedite the shipping. This negative experience has soured my view of eBay as a platform, and I will refrain from using it until this issue is resolved. Thank you for your help in resolving this matter. Dave

I recently received the Ashton-Drake Galleries original doll from the All I Wish For You Collection, specifically the "I Wish You Luck" doll in green. Unfortunately, it came in a larger box with minimal bubble wrap, resulting in the doll's left leg being broken into pieces. I am unable to repair it with glue. I am unsure if I need to return it, as I lack transportation to the post office. Moreover, I am concerned about future orders because of inadequate packaging. Despite noting "Care Enough" on the box, it arrived damaged. This has made me anxious about my other doll orders, especially after previous issues with improperly packed fairies that I had to repair. If possible, please contact me at [redacted] to address this situation. Thank you, Carol Godwin.

I need assistance with case number [redacted]. The customer claims the item wasn't delivered, but the parcel is at customs. Communication with the customer through WhatsApp and email hasn't been successful as they are not cooperating with customs to present the import permit required for clearance. Despite my attempts to contact customs, language barriers are a challenge. I have shipped to India before, and the standard procedure mandates the customer to liaise with customs for clearance. All necessary paperwork is included, yet the customer is avoiding the process, which is concerning. I suspect a possible scam based on past experiences with fraudulent claims. eBay has already refunded the customer, but I fear they will still retrieve the item at no cost. The EMS tracking number [redacted] confirms the parcel's status at customs. I urge for intervention to prevent this potential scam.

I inquired with a seller about purchasing a used cologne (item #[redacted]51) and requested standard economy shipping due to our proximity. Initially, the seller agreed to the arrangement. However, when I sought confirmation on the shipping method to ensure a refund on the price difference, they hesitated, citing a preference for priority shipping. After clarifying that standard shipping also provided tracking, they eventually agreed to the cheaper option, and I proceeded with the purchase. Subsequently, the item remained unshipped on my purchase page for five days, but I received a USPS notice of a package with $6.00 postage due. The seller admitted to sending it and promised a refund. Upon receiving the package and paying the additional postage, it was apparent that the seller did not honor the agreed-upon shipping method. Despite my attempts to address the issue, they have ignored me for two days. I am seeking a $9.69 refund and the 5 promised niche cologne samples. Thank you.

I inquired with a seller about purchasing a used cologne (item #[redacted]51) and requested standard economy shipping due to our proximity. The seller initially agreed but later hesitated, stating he preferred priority shipping for tracking purposes. After showing proof of tracking for standard shipping, he agreed again. I made the purchase, but the item wasn't marked as shipped after five days. USPS then requested $6 postage upon delivery, which the seller agreed to refund. Despite this, the seller didn't honor the agreed shipping method and hasn't responded to my requests for a $9.69 refund and the five promised niche cologne samples. I'm seeking eBay's intervention to ensure the refund and delivery of the samples.

I had a challenging experience with an eBay customer service representative who failed to address my buyer complaint properly. Despite buying an item that was falsely advertised resulting in additional costs, following eBay's return process, and relying on the [redacted]% money-back guarantee, I was not refunded. The unsuccessful attempt at resolving this issue is documented in the telephone conversation with reference # 1-[redacted]91. I suggest another eBay representative listens to this conversation to grasp the flaws in eBay's international return procedures and communication with buyers. eBay needs to improve its protocols to better serve customers and compete with other similar platforms. It is crucial for eBay to establish a fair system to retain its current customers and attract new ones in the face of increasing competition in the online marketplace industry. - Carmelo

I have been in touch with eBay regarding 18 items and returns. The merchants advised me to keep the items since they didn't want to arrange for the returns. They refunded the money in January, but it seems to have been lost. I have spent countless hours contacting eBay, PayPal, Direct Express, Commerce Bank, and MasterCard, but nothing has been resolved. Recently, I spent 17 hours on the phone, leading to discomfort in my arm and my phone dropping. I am frustrated with how eBay and PayPal have handled my situation. I am left without funds for utilities and my Samsung S8 screen is cracked. Instead of using the refund for a new phone, I believe eBay should take responsibility for the situation. A lawyer friend suggested I reach out to someone in the front office for a resolution before seeking legal advice. I would appreciate speaking to the Director or Head of Operations. Thank you.

I purchased shoes on eBay with tracking number [redacted][redacted]47. The tracking information shows that the shipment was refused at my address, even though no one refused it, and it was sent somewhere else, which happens to be the seller's old address. The seller claims it's the post office's fault, but I believe it's unfair that I have to pick up the package from the shipping carrier. I requested a refund from eBay, but they told me to collect the package instead. I feel stuck in the middle since the seller says it's not their fault and eBay insists I should sort it out with the carrier.
