Dear Zillow managers:**I contacted you earlier this year or last year. My concern is with my home at ***** Occidental Ave So. Seattle, WA *****. I was concerned that all other homes in the area around our neighborhood were going up in value and yet our home was not. You mentioned that if I were to let you know about some of the homes (at least **) of which I am referring to, then you would look into it. I have been developing a list of homes around the neighborhood and have come up with a list of homes that have been going up for sale for the past year. Twenty four of them are attached. I have listed their addresses, their square feet and the cost per square feet. I chose homes that were mainly in the ***** area and as close to our home as possible. There are a couple that are not in our zip code, but are within one mile of our home. As you can see, our home is listed almost as a fixer upper at $*** a square foot. There is one other home that is at the same price, but I think they wanted to sell it as fast as possible. The highest per square footage for these homes was at $****sq ft and the lowest was $****sq ft as our house. I am not saying that I want our home to come in at $****sq ft, but at least it should be somewhere in the middle. Our home is very sturdy* over **** square feet* new roof on half of it and very good roof on the other half. We have tried to keep this home up to date, putting in a new floor in the kitchen and the carpeting is fairly new in the * bedrooms and the living room. This home has * kitchens and * living rooms. It has a large laundry room. It would be great for a mother-in-law situation. We have taken very good care of the yard, so since we have kept our home up to date, we are not sure how you can undervalue our home so much. I believe our home should come in at least at $****sq ft because the average price of homes being sold are going at $***.***sq. ft. if you take out the home selling at $****sq ft, which seems like an aberration to me. Please let me know what you think about my calculations. Zillow is a very well-known and respected website and most people will look at your site and based on the price on our home, they are going to think that our home is a fixer upper.
