My youtube account is being subscribed automatically to random channels. This was happening for I guess months, I assume around ** new subscriptions every day, and when I found out about it I was subscribed to *** random channels total. The channels usually have only a few subscribers and are typically in languages I don’t even speak. I researched and found that many other people were having the same problem. I followed all of their advice, (basically changing my password, managing the apps*services that have access to my google account, turning on two-step verification, logging out of all other devices that aren’t mine, removing all of my unknown extensions on chrome, and so on). I then went through and manually unsubscribed to every channel and the few remaining (about ** channels) won’t unsubscribe. I hit unsubscribe and then when I refresh it says that I am subscribed again. Then I decided to give it a few days to see if maybe it just wasn’t registering in their system because I had just unsubscribed to so many channels, but when I checked again they were still there and I had actually been subscribed to ** more channels as well! I tried to call youtube, but was put on hold for ** minutes and then told by the machine that all of their employees have stepped away for the time being and then the call hung up. I don’t know what to do. Can you please help me?
