Top Tip from another customer
If you're having issues with a password, try resetting it using your email address (be sure to use the correct spelling). Click "Forgot Password" under the login, then follow the prompt. You should have the option to reset with your phone number.
The issue in GetHuman-lynthom's own words
my Microsoft Outlook suddenly stopped accepting the emails from my yahoo website email address, and kept asking for the password again. I logged into Yahoo with the site login and there were messages about updating my Yahoo Mail. I ticked all the boxes as much as I could but then could not login to my email account Lyn.T*****@***.com I can login to the site with *****@***.com I changed the password on this latter login and assumed it would allow me to login to the main email account but it will not. I have attempted many times to login to Lyn.T*****@***.com with every password I have used in the past with no success. Help desk will not access my backup contacts from that email address but will from the *****@***.com address? I need the business email address reset so that I can receive business emails. all my correspondence, business cards etc have this email address.
GetHuman-lynthom did not yet indicate what Yahoo should do to make this right.
