Whenever I am trying to purchase gold with live points on my xbox it won't let me buy the subscription. (I've been using live points*monthly gold cards since I created my xbox live account probably ten years ago.) It just keeps saying offer isn't available in my region. I tried to put a prepaid visa on my xbox awhile back because I was told it was told you could use it purchase items on the Microsoft store. Which I couldn't it ended up not working for me so I never thought much of it. Then when my gold ran out not to long ago I got a message from Microsoft saying my attempt of a recurring billing option had failed and I needed to update the card. It saying the bill owed is in American dollars? **.** usd$ I live in Canada and my location on my xbox is set to Canada. I am thinking either xbox won't let m purchase gold with live points because I need to update a credit card for them? or I have Canadian xbox live points and my Microsoft store is somehow thinking I am in use? any help on this would be greatly appreciated thank you
