Our family in home microwave caught fire and I am not satisfied with the help and excuses I am getting from the lady in your safety group. I would like to speak to a customer service or technical support manager. I have already spoken to a private concern who knows and repairs microwaves and I am told that the reason I am given for our fire by Whirlpool safety is not true. I have Whirlpool appliances for all my usages in the kitchen and I am now very concerned about another fire. Please give me a direct number for customer service or call me at *** *** ****. Get help from the executive customer service group and point out that under the page in your owners Manuel there is no warning of a fire resulting from not removing the metal shelf when cooking at a single level. I am still pursuing this with consumer affairs and trying to get a story on our local TV station. So far they are sending out a brand new ***.** unit like ours with installers for $**.** A compromise but it gets us going untill we see what happens with TV and consumer affairs support
