Good Morning, I purchased the Bouchard Cocktail Ottoman as a birthday present for my Sister as she adored it and had wanted an ottoman for so long. Unfortunately when it arrived it was not an ottoman it was merely a very large footstool with no ability to store anything and not at all as it was described and marketed on your website. My Sister was very disappointed to say the least and wanted me to return this item and I was so let down but I thought it is a beautiful item even though it is not as described so have spoken to a lovely gentleman at Wayfair today and after discussions we have come to an arrangement to save with the collection and return to keep this item for myself with a reduction in price. I was at first offered **% which to be honest I thought he said **% as this would have been quite agreeable, I mentioned that since purchasing this item a week ago a further reduction in the sale had occured and was immediately offered a reduction of **% and I agreed. **On reflection I should have probably returned this item as to be honest it does not do what it says and I would never buy a set of drawers that would not open, but I liked the item and to save myself the issue of returning I agreed to these terms. The gentleman I spoke to said immediately agreed that yes it is marketed as an ottoman and is not and I find this so very odd and disappointing that a company as well regarded as Wayfair would make such a mistake. I only discovered Wayfair ** months ago and have bought several items since then and have been pretty much impressed by the items and the service I have received. Wayfair are my first port of call and I will hopefully not feel let down on my next purchase. I would however suggest you change the marketing of this product and I will not leave a review as it would not be favourable in this instance.**I just feel as helpful as the agent I spoke to was, had I not been at work, and I do work long hours so returning would be a nightmare for me, I would have probably spent more time discussing how this item wrongly marketed was purchased under false advertising and a much more agreeable outcome should have been offered.**Thank you for your time and hopeful response.**Kind Regards***Michelle Creighton.

I said it was fixed but I feel now on reflection it should have been dealt with much better. I called them and have now emailed waiting for a response
