If you are not satisfied with an item that you purchased from Wayfair, you should easily be able to return it for a refund, in most cases. Read on to find out how.

Wayfair Refund Policy

Wayfair's refund policy is a fairly lenient one. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can get a refund if you return it within 30 days of the date of delivery. All returned items must be in their original condition and returned in their original packaging. Your shipping costs on the returned items will not be refunded. You can receive your refund as a store credit applied to your Wayfair account or as money refunded by the payment method you used for purchase. Store credit refunds will be processed within 1 business day of receipt of the returned item. Other refunds will take 3 to 5 days for processing. Clearance items, items that were purchased with gift cards, personalized items, items that were purchased as part of a discount bundle, and any item marked 'Non-Returnable' are not eligible for refunds.

How to Return an Item for Refund

  1. Go to Wayfair's home page.
  2. Click on the Login link in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
  3. Log in to your account.
  4. Go to My Orders.
  5. Locate the order you want returned.
  6. Click on the "return" link underneath that item.
  7. Select your preferred method of refund: store credit or original payment method.
  8. Select a shipping method for the return. If you select FedEx or UPS, Wayfair will send you a return shipping label to use and help you find a nearby shipping center.
  9. Print out the shipping label, if applicable.
  10. Take the item to the shipping center of your choice and mail it.

Alternatively, if you can't get to a shipping center, in place of selecting a shipping method in step 8, you can arrange for a courier pickup. Wayfair will arrange for your item or items to be picked up by a courier from FedEx, UPS, or the Post Office, arranged through the Parcel Money courier tool. This is also a convenient option to choose when you are returning furniture or other heavy packages. Weight limit is 70 pounds per package.
