To recover your account, use your email address to reset your password but be sure you have the spelling correct. The best thing you can do is try to reset the password by clicking "Forgot Password" under the login then follow the prompt. You should have the option to reset with your phone number.
The issue in GetHuman-idamax's own words
Moved from Oregon to Lubbock, Tx., several months ago - Our cable company in Oregon was "Charter Communication". Unfortunately, Charter does not provide cable service in Lubbock Texas. We were forced to close account Charter Communications and signed up with Suddenlink Communications in Lubbock, Texas. To ensure Charter had deleted our old email (*****@***.com) we called them week after we left Oregon to ensure our old email (above) was indeed deleted. The said "yes" our old Charter email above was deleted as we requested. A week after we left Oregon we signed up with Suddenlink Communication in Lubbock, Tx.. It's not true that the old email was deleted (even though Charter Communication said so because it keeps causing us problems when trying to purchase items on-line with companies like Amazon, Walmart, and Craigslist. Their on-line websites will not accept our new email address with Sudden Link Communication (*****@***.com) - Their systems automatically pop up the old email address (*****@***.com) and reject the Suddenlink email. We also tried to get Microsoft to help us - spoke with at least * technical support people. They would delete the *****@***.com email from their data base and insert our new email address. But, the next day when we try to purchase item on-line from Walmart, their system will again "rejects" the new email with Suddenlink (idamax*suddenlink.net), and it will automatically "pop-up" our old email address (*****@***.com) ------ We would greatly appreciate any help in this matter.
