I’m recently widowed and the mother of a newborn and * other children. All we have are survivors benefits. My phone died and Verizon wouldn’t take it for a trade in. It an iPhone *. I could have switched to Sprint and gotten a free iPhone **. I needed a phone right away and Verizon switched my plan for * months so I could save $** which was nice but not really enough for me to feel like I’m not being taken advantage of. I have some loyalty to Verizon because my late husband used to work for them and I didn’t want to switch. Now I think they should have done better by me. There are some situations it’s wrong to take advantage of. I feel like this is one of them and there should be more incentive for me to stay as a customer. I have fantastic credit and have been a loyal customer for years but I have to pay full price for an iPhone ** if I want to stay with Vetizon? Lame.
