About * weeks ago I received a call from Verizon Wireless saying a Shawn Johnson had tried ordering an iPhone X through my account and wanted it send to Yonkers. I was very grateful that they were calling to confirm. They didn't ask for any account information and were very professional as Verizon Wireless always is. At the end of a few confirmations and system checks they told me that, due to my patience and for the inconvenience, they were able to credit one of my bills. They checked something else and then told me that they could pay my past due amount, too. They knew EXACTLY how much those bills were for, so I didn't doubt it was Verizon Wireless. I even received a text from VW saying my payment had posted and Thank You! **I just found out that my services have been suspended for my past due amount and would like to know what happened. I spoke to a woman that was very rude a few minutes ago - cutting me off, telling me that there was nothing she could do, then transferred me to her "supervisor" who was already closed. I've never experienced that kind of service from VW and I was very disappointed. **I don't have the money to pay my past-due amount right now because I'm not working, and the money I did have set aside for VW was spent on gifts for my kids since I was under every assumption that the call was legitimate and it had been my lucky day just when I needed it most!**Can someone please call me back or email me to discuss? In the meantime, my phone is suspended until I can pay the $*** past due amount, which I can't pay until after Christmas.**Thank you very much.*David Lauer*(***) ***-****
