Help with my Verizon Wireless issue

I mailed my check for the bill that was due on October ** on October *, but it appears to be lost in the mail. I paid my October bill electronicly again on October ** to avoid being late. If*when you get the check, will my acct be automatically credited for the amount of the check?

I wrote the note above, and didn’t do anything else. When I checked my Verizon app later that evening, I saw that they had just added the notation that they (finally) received the payment (check) that I had mailed (two weeks earlier) prior to making the last minute electronic payment. They noted that the money would be credited to my account toward next months bill. They did what I was hoping that they would do.
