Yesterday, I lost my wallet with $[redacted] on my Venmo card. I urgently tried to add a backup payment method and transfer the funds, but Venmo informed me it would take ten business days to receive a new card. My financial situation cannot wait that long. I requested an expedited card delivery, willing to pay extra, but the Venmo agent was unhelpful. I find it hard to believe a company this size cannot speed up such an essential process. I feel frustrated and ignored by their lack of responsiveness. Can anyone offer assistance with getting my Venmo card sooner than the 10 days they quoted me?

I have been puzzled by the ongoing issue with my Venmo account. I use both [redacted] and [redacted] The second email was created by mistake when setting up a different account. I am Christine Nicole C. I have completed all the verification steps using the email [redacted], including providing a copy of my ID and a recent bank statement. I have attached the same documents for this email. I am surprised that no Venmo representative has informed me about this duplicate account situation. I hope we can resolve this soon.

I'm frustrated. I'm attempting to link my bank through your Plaid third-party service, and I don't know the answer to "what was your dream job as a child"! This question seems pointless and there is no alternative way to access my account. Additionally, it's asking if I want to use another bank which is confusing. This situation may result in an overdraft fee, and I am relying on the $70 that was supposedly sent to me. I require assistance urgently.

I am currently locked out of my Venmo account because I forgot to include a required item when trying to log in. I attempted to enter my password multiple times, assuming it was correct, only to discover that I had been locked out. I am experiencing issues with Venmo. Whenever I attempt to send a payment, I keep encountering error messages stating "Payment declined. There was an issue with your payment. Please try again later." This happens on the app. On the computer, I receive a message saying "There is no public feed. Please try again in a few minutes." Despite following the suggestion and trying again later, I am still unable to complete my transactions. I have verified that I have sufficient funds in my account to cover the payment. After reaching out to Venmo via email, I received a response that seems to be automated. The representative, Jenny from Venmo Support, mentioned that my payment is being declined due to a security flag being raised during the transaction. While they cannot provide specific details about the decline for security reasons, they suggested trying the payment again later or using an alternative payment processor like PayPal if the transaction is time-sensitive. I appreciate any further assistance on this matter.

I have over a thousand dollars being held by Venmo. I have contacted their customer service and was informed that my account is frozen with no clear reasons provided. I have a Venmo account with a balance from a recent payment, but I am unable to make any transactions as the "send" button is not active on the app and website. A friend tried to refund me, but the final button would not activate for either of us. Despite having used PayPal for many years, I am considering transferring these funds either to my existing PayPal account or to my husband's account. We prefer using PayPal and have encountered issues with other payment platforms. If the issue persists, we will no longer use Venmo and solely rely on PayPal for our transactions.

I have two Venmo accounts on separate phones. I can't access the second account, @shivermetimbers, as the screen went black. It has around $[redacted] to $[redacted]. The first account is Jordan-Hieronymus-3 with $50 but can't link to any bank cards. I can't verify my phone number, which is the same for both accounts. The broken screen won't let me access the second account, and I need to link them together. There is $[redacted] to $[redacted] in total, and I'm unable to link it to any cards or banks. I started to create a Venmo account but didn't finish. Now I needed to receive money from someone who uses Venmo exclusively. I am encountering a problem because there are both partial and full accounts connected to my phone number [redacted]. The money sent to me appears blank, and I can't access the partial account as it defaults to opening the full account. I had a frustrating 45-minute call with customer service where the agent hung up on me as soon as he picked up the call, forcing me to wait on hold once again. Two weeks ago, I received $[redacted] on Venmo, but I didn't have an account at the time. When I tried to create an account and add my bank information, I encountered an issue where the submit button would not save the details, regardless of whether I entered the information manually or used the instant verification system on both my phone and laptop, with different browsers. Despite contacting our respective banks, the problem persists. Venmo is holding the funds, but without a linked bank account, I cannot refund the money or have it returned to the sender. Despite multiple emails to Venmo, I am only directed to call their support number, which in turn leads me back to the email support. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach a live person for assistance, and this ongoing situation has been extremely frustrating.

I am new to selling items on social media and was not familiar with using Venmo for transactions. I received instructions via email from Venmo on how to ship items to buyers and release funds. Unfortunately, I was not aware that Venmo does not complete the purchase until after the items are shipped. I ended up needing to deposit $[redacted], even though the initial amount was $[redacted], just to have my funds released. I am not a business and do not need a business account. It is frustrating that the instructions did not mention anything about needing a business account with a minimum balance of $[redacted]. The email stated that funds would be released into my account after providing a shipping receipt, but this has not happened.

I lost $[redacted] on my first transaction selling a motorcycle on Craigslist. I listed it for $13,[redacted], and Steven T. from Dayton, Ohio contacted me. He suggested using Venmo for payment, claiming I needed to pay $[redacted] for the truck driver with a Vanilla card. He promised to add $[redacted] to an escrow in Venmo to cover this cost. After sending the $[redacted] via a picture of the card and receipt, Venmo did not receive it, and my account was empty. He then asked for another $1,[redacted] for unpaid taxes and insurance, leading me to realize it was a scam. I have the empty card as a reminder of the scam. This individual must be apprehended and face the consequences of his actions. I hope my insurance can cover this loss, providing a sense of security in the future.

Good morning. I was in touch with someone regarding my issue, but we lost contact. A few weeks ago, I was scammed and took action by stopping payment through my credit union. Unfortunately, Venmo ended up paying the scammer $[redacted], leading to my account being frozen. I believed that filing a police report would help unfreeze it.
