I made a reservation through VRBO for a rental in Oahu for five nights July **th - July **th. The owner of the timeshare was Dave Koo. The reservation ID is HA-HHHD*N. We paid for the reservation in full. We are currently in Maui through July **rd from another booking we made through VRBO. This morning we woke up to a text from Dave Koo informing us that he had received a call from the Hilton ownership department notifying him that his ownership with Hilton was suspended. So he cancelled our reservation. This was a very disappointing start to a vacation that we planned for a long time with our children. I contacted VRBO's reservation department and told them about the issue. They couldn't help me with the cancellation but I ended up booking another reservation with VRBO at the same location. I had little options at this point. Our new booking is HA-TL**HM. The owner of that unit is Dr. VIC. After booking that through your agent for July **th - **th I received a call from Dr. Vic that we had to do it in two reservations and may have to use two different units at the same location. So we are booked July **rd through July **th which is an extra night we can't use because we are still in Maui. This reservation is going to cost us nearly $*,*** more then the first reservation. I believe that VRBO should stand by the reservation that was promised and paid in full. We have trusted VRBO and used them exclusively for our vacation rentals. I am seeking reimbursement for the difference between the original reservation that was cancelled by the owner and the new reservation we made today.
