Below is a copy of the details I put into the customer care form......It would not upload the documents and then woud not continue to send the form. Very frustrated! *Email address******@***.com******@***.com**Passengers Mrs Susan Petrie, ticket number ***-*********** Mrs Sandrsa Makin, ticket number ***-************Flight number UA*****Tuesday *rd July we, the above named, were due to fly to Newark Liberty International airport. The duration of our stay was * nights. The reason for travel was a birthday celebration for Susan Petrie (**th). It was planned that the *th July celebrations would be a huge birthday treat!*At check-in at Edinburgh we were advised firstly that the plane was still on the ground in Newark. A few minutes later we were advised that the flight was cancelled. Later we were advised that a flight had been organised for Wednesday *th July at **.**pm.*Wednesday *th July, we checked in at Edinburgh airport, left our bags and proceeded to departure lounge. Just after **.**am we were called to the departure gate. We waited at the departure gate and we observed the crew go through. We were advised that the flight was cancelled AGAIN! We had to collect our baggage and then gathered with others to hear what was happening. *There were no flights available in Edinburgh and staff were advising that it may be possible to go via Heathrow if we found our own way there. This was already the second day of a four day break and so for us this was not feasible.*Mrs Sandra Makin had booked this holiday as a surprise for Susan Petrie (her daughter). Sandra, who is in her **’s was distraught and shaken by these events.*Not wanting the surprise to be a total disaster. We rebooked with American Airlines for *th July and rebooked our hotel so that we could still have * nights in NYC.*We had pre-booked American Passes for original dates as well and these had to be re-booked.*We would like –***full refund of flights and accommodation***compensation for cancellation of first flight on *rd July***compensation for cancellation of second flight on *th July***compensation towards costs of rebooking of flights and accommodation***refund of American Passes*I have attached receipts for flights and passes. system will not allow me to upload more although happy to provide.***Regards**susan petrie
