Hello, I encountered an issue with my order not being delivered to my home. The delivery driver claimed the postcode was incorrect and refused delivery despite my ensuring the correct information was provided. After initial contact, the driver did not attempt redelivery and the restaurant did not receive the undelivered food. Despite trying to reach the driver again, I have had no luck. I was still charged for the undelivered order, which is unfair. The driver was close by but seemingly unwilling to rectify the situation. There was a clear phone call between us, yet he claimed he couldn't reach me. Hello, I ordered from Uber Eats last night. When my order arrived, it was missing the chips and BBQ bites. I contacted the driver, but he advised me to reach out to Uber Eats for assistance. I visited the help page and explained the issue. However, all I receive are automated emails stating that due to a previous credit I received last October for an incorrectly prepared meal, they are unable to assist me further. I am displeased with this response. I paid for items that were missing from my order, and at the very least, I expect a refund for these items. I didn't even consume the food because of the frustration from the lack of resolution. I am a frequent Uber Eats user, but this experience has left me hesitant to continue using the service. It is unfair to pay for items that were not delivered. I provided a picture of my incomplete order as well. I would appreciate it if you could investigate and address this matter promptly.

I placed an order through your service, but there seems to be an issue. The status originally showed as "preparing your order," but when I checked on it an hour later, it hadn't been processed. I had to place the order a second time, and now it's stuck again with the same message. I hope I don't have to do it for the third time. When I called customer service about this problem, I was told to email. However, the person ordering has a disability that makes them unable to use a computer or read, so emailing is not an option. The call ended abruptly without a solution. This is more than just bad customer service; it feels like discrimination against disabilities. Please address this promptly. Thank you.

Hello. Yesterday evening at 7:35, I placed an order on Uber Eats for McDonald's. The order arrived on time, but I was disappointed to find that the burgers and fries were cold. The quality of the food was not good, and I suspect my order was left waiting on the counter to get cold while other orders were prepared. This is the second time I have ordered from Uber Eats, and unfortunately, I had a similar experience the first time. I wanted to give them another chance, but I was let down again. As a single mother, I don't treat my son to takeout often, so it was disheartening to disappoint him last night. I ordered a family platter from Pepes on Duke Street in St Helens at 10:15 PM on May 26, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the order did not arrive, and the delivery status remained unchanged, indicating delivery by 11:05 PM. After calling the fast food outlet and leaving a message with no response, my husband decided to pick up the order at 11:20 PM. When he arrived, he spoke to the person in charge about the undelivered order and requested a refund for the delivery fee. Disappointingly, the manager refused to refund the charge. Despite a tense exchange, a staff member named Daniel attempted to hand over the food, but the manager intervened. Subsequently, my husband returned home without the food. Even after further attempts to reach out to the store and seeking a refund, the situation did not improve. Following a second visit to the outlet at 11:50 PM, my husband encountered unhelpful responses from the staff. Eventually, Daniel went above and beyond by refunding the amount from his own pocket. As working professionals, this entire ordeal caused us significant distress. The supervisor’s behavior was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. We expected better service and food quality from Uber Eats. I request a full refund and a personal apology from the supervisor of Pepes in St. Helens to rectify this situation. The delivery time kept getting later rather than sooner. Despite contacting customer service, the issue remains unresolved. I was advised to wait for a refund, but my concern is that the driver is not making their way to my place as expected for a priority delivery. We are located in Illawong, Sydney. We ordered Chinese food from a local shop which is just 3 minutes away from our place. Our order was placed at 5 pm, and the delivery time given was 5:35 pm. However, the driver went in the opposite direction, and after multiple calls, he seemed lost and needed instructions to find our house. Unfortunately, the food finally arrived at 6:35 pm, cold and with leaked sauce, making it inedible. This has been the worst service experience ever. My mobile number to follow up is [redacted]."

Hello, my name is Taz Rehman. Yesterday, on 1/6/22, I placed an order for £25.01 from the KFC restaurant on Uber Eats. Unfortunately, my food never arrived. The driver claimed to have called me, but I received no call and there was no attempt to deliver the food to my address. I called back the number that had called me, but there was no answer. I then contacted the restaurant, and they advised me to reach out to Uber Eats. I have been trying to get a response through the Uber Eats app since yesterday, but have had no luck. I received an email saying the driver followed policy, but what policy allows charging for undelivered food? I had to place the order again, costing me an additional £25.01, bringing the total to £50.02 for one order on the same day. This feels like a case of daylight robbery. I suspect the driver either kept the food or consumed it. I am dissatisfied with the poor customer service from Uber Eats. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it further. I apologize for struggling with mental health issues. Last night, I ordered rich tea biscuits, cheesy chips, and hot dogs with mustard. However, my order was incomplete as the cheese and mustard were missing, as well as the biscuits. I had previously lodged a complaint about a similar issue. Using voice-to-text for this message is easier for me despite the effort it requires. I feel compelled to address this issue even though it consumes my time. With only £12 left in my account, I am extremely frustrated. Unfortunately, I cannot place another order at the moment. I received a delivery that was completely inedible due to the delivery driver's mistake of placing it under his motorcycle seat instead of using his Uber Eats bag. The food arrived squashed, hard, and cold, with only my drink being warm. After reporting the issue on the Uber app, I was only compensated £1.79 for an order that cost me £16.27. This compensation is not acceptable considering the food was inedible and solely the driver's fault. Subway suggested I contact Uber directly for a full refund, as they couldn't process it from their end. As a breastfeeding mother, this situation has left me without a meal and I hope for a better resolution to this matter, as I have faced issues with Uber before.

I usually don't do this, but I understand that cooks are human and can have a bad day, but this time it almost seems like it was done on purpose. Originally, it was a buy 1 get 1 free deal, and I ordered 4 items but only received 3. In the past, when I placed the exact same order, I received all 4 items. After you reimbursed me for the missing item, I found out that the potatoes were way overcooked when I opened the plate. The potatoes were dark brown, almost burnt. Despite feeling hungry, I ate part of the potatoes, and now I have a bad aftertaste and feel like throwing up. The rest of the order is going straight to the trash can because I care too much about my dog to feed him that. I have placed over 30 orders with you guys, and while I've had good and bad orders before, not once did I feel it was intentional until now. At this point, I request either a reimbursement for the order or to close my account. Regards

I was charged £12.04 for my order last night, but it never arrived. I tried to contact the driver over 15 times and waited for 90 minutes. It was frustrating not to be able to feed my baby due to the unprofessional behavior of the Uber Eats driver. I am disappointed in how they hire delivery drivers without proper background checks. I will not be ordering from Uber Eats again and will share my experience with friends and family. I am requesting a refund for the undelivered order. Uber's support team is stating they cannot refund the amount without investigating the situation of the driver running away with the food. I need an explanation from Uber Eats. If not resolved, I will escalate this with my cousin, who is a legal council. Dealing with a fraudulent driver was terrible, along with poor customer service.

Hello, I have been trying to contact customer support since yesterday with no success. Last night, I placed an order (Order: 769b6) which turned out to be the worst experience I have had with your service. I immediately contacted the MacDonald's branch regarding the missing cookie, cold and messy food, and inadequate items in my order. I have taken several photos showcasing the issues - missing sauce in the cheeseburger, a messy Big Mac, and cold, dry fries. I am eager to share these photos with you. The manager at MacDonald's mentioned only Uber Eats could assist with reimbursement. I am very disappointed by the lack of support in this situation and hope for a prompt response from you or your manager. I am writing to discuss the recent issues with my orders. Multiple times over the past few weeks, items have been missing from my orders. Despite receiving refunds for some missing items, there are still items for which I have not been refunded. I am disappointed and find it unacceptable that items are missing without refunds being issued. This has happened in several of my past orders as well. As a frequent user of UberEats, I expect a resolution to this matter. Today, another item was missing from my Asda order, and once again, I am facing the same issue. I insist on receiving refunds for all missing items from my recent orders. I have attempted to contact customer service several times without success, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided.

I placed an order through the Uber Eats app, and unfortunately, the driver demanded an extra £5 for delivery after delivering my grocery order from Sainsbury's to the wrong address. I kindly asked him to come to the correct address as per the app, and though he initially agreed, he later called my private number and was rude, insisting I pay him extra. Despite being just one street away, he threw away my groceries, took a picture, and left when I refused to pay extra, as I had already paid for delivery. Feeling threatened and intimidated, I reported the incident to the Sainsbury's branch where the manager contacted Uber, who promised assistance. Yet, I keep receiving automated responses from Uber stating they won't refund me for the order.

The driver did not deliver my order. When I called him, he abruptly ended the call. He requested me to confirm the address via text in Spanish, to which I complied using Google Translate. Unfortunately, he did not respond and canceled the order shortly after. I believe he did not make a reasonable effort to deliver the food. I am currently at a hotel with no access to food, so I am requesting a refund or, ideally, the delivery of my food.

I placed an order for £27 worth of food from a takeaway named All in One around 12:20 am. Despite my order being accepted and in the preparation stage for about 5 minutes, I received an email from Uber Eats stating that my order had been cancelled. To my dismay, I had already been charged for the food even though I did not cancel the order and was eagerly awaiting my meal. Upon contacting the takeaway, I was informed that there were no chefs available to prepare the food, leaving me puzzled as to why they accepted the order initially. When I requested another order, they refused, advising me to seek a refund from Uber Eats instead. To my disappointment, they seemed to find the situation amusing, which led me to suspect foul play as it is difficult to obtain a refund from Uber Eats easily. Despite attempting to resolve the issue, the exchange took a turn for the worse when the staff resorted to racially offensive language. I am adamant about receiving a refund from the takeaway and an apology for their unprofessional conduct.

Hello, I recently placed an order with A&W for 2 buddy burgers and a mozza burger combo. However, when I tried to update my order by removing the fries that were not available, the entire mozza burger combo disappeared from my order. Now, I am left with only the 2 buddy burgers and an unexpected delivery fee that was supposed to be free for orders over $15. To make matters worse, there is no live chat support available to correct the error. It seems I will also incur a $5 charge if I cancel the order. This situation is quite frustrating.
