I need to file a complaint regarding my delivery driver "Catharina" allegedly taking my food during delivery; Order #4E8AB. Upon receiving a message indicating the driver had arrived when the app showed them on a different street, I searched the area but found no one. The driver marked the delivery as complete without attempting to contact me. After trying to reach them through the app and leaving voicemails without a response, I suspect foul play. This conduct is unacceptable, and I request repercussions to prevent recurring incidents. My partner and I are regular customers and wish to avoid future encounters with this driver if they service our area.

I reside at [redacted] Mount Pleasant Drive in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Last night, my neighbor across the street received a delivery from Uber Eats at approximately 9:15 pm. The delivery was meant for [redacted] Mount Pleasant Drive. Around an hour later, my son returned from hockey and discovered that his parked car on the street in front of our house had been severely damaged, likely from a vehicle backing out of our neighbor's driveway. The car sustained significant damage to its front corner. I am keen on identifying the color of the Uber driver's car to see if we can reach out to them to inquire about potential damage to their vehicle. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I recently made a purchase on Saturday evening, which was a bit delayed but acceptable. Today, when I opened the app, I was directed to a survey page. After completing the survey, I inadvertently submitted it and was charged a £4.16 tip. The service was delayed, and the driver left the food at my doorstep without any interaction, so I do not wish to provide a tip. I would appreciate it if you could refund the £4.16 tip amount. Hello, I am a Dorset Police officer investigating the fraudulent use of a vulnerable person's bank card. I am looking to determine the address where the food purchased with the card was delivered. I've experienced extremely poor customer service with Uber Eats. This is not an isolated incident. They are now suggesting that I'm dishonest because I reported that one of my food items arrived opened, rendering the entire order inedible. Despite exchanging over 20 messages, they have yet to provide me with a manager's contact information. I am seeking the head office contact number and email addresses of the UK directors. It's imperative that they are made aware of the unacceptable treatment customers are receiving.

I placed an order today, but it was cancelled last minute. German Kebab mentioned that you cancelled the order, but they still took the payment. Upon contacting them, they claimed it was your doing. I have been charged for an order that I never received. While I've used your service before, I have encountered issues. Kindly refund my money. Once my funds are returned, please close my account. I feel deceived by your company's inability to deliver as promised.

I ordered alcohol from your app on Saturday, April 30th at 00:34 from Royal Alcohol Delivery for £44.05. After checking my bank account, I noticed that I have not received the funds back from this order. I did receive refunds for the other two orders placed at the same time. I have waited the requested amount of days, and I find it troubling that I cannot address this issue through your app. I would like to request a full refund of £44.05 owed due to the cancellation of the service. I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

I used the 50% May discount code TREATMAY50 tonight for my order. I picked eligible stores and made sure my order met the minimum value of £15. However, at checkout, the 50% discount was applied, but I was charged the full price of just over £11. This was my first time ordering from spicebix, which was an eligible store. I'm frustrated that I didn't receive the discount despite following all the requirements. The food quality was also disappointing, which I will address in my feedback. I placed an order for McDonald’s on Uber Eats. Unfortunately, at 11:05 pm, my order was delayed three times. I noticed on the app that the restaurant had closed, so I called them. RJ from the restaurant informed me that they hadn't received any order requests recently and were closed on Uber Eats. They suggested I contact Uber Eats through the app. However, I couldn't find a way to cancel the order on the app or get any contact information.

Hello, I was referred to reach out to UberEats by the McDonald's customer service team. I ordered McDelivery from the Nottingham Trentbridge branch through the McDonald's app. The received order was not as expected. I ordered several items, but I only received a Big Mac meal with medium fries and a coke. Despite being hungry, I was disappointed as my complete order was not fulfilled. This was my first time using McDelivery, and I am now wary due to this experience. I faced difficulties contacting customer service, hence the delay in reaching out. I have been waiting for a refund since 25/4/[redacted] from Fryer Inn. I reported the issue but have not received any response. When I questioned the delay in my food delivery, the shop assistant was rude and used foul language. Despite my request to not accept the food as it was late, the driver was disrespectful when dropping it off. When I called the shop again to address the issue, I was met with more abuse. The food arrived cold, and I had to throw it away. I have been a loyal Uber user and am extremely disappointed with the lack of resolution or communication regarding this matter. I will not be ordering from that place again.

I recently received a call from my Uber delivery driver, but there was a voice prompt stating that the driver was trying to reach me without success. Even though I tried calling back, there was no answer. During our chat, I provided detailed directions to Bellringer House, my delivery address. Surprisingly, midway through our conversation, I received a notification stating that my order had been delivered, even though I hadn't received it yet. This experience has left me feeling incredibly disappointed with the delivery driver's service. Ordering food is essential for me, not just for leisure, and I paid for the delivery service. I expected better service and communication from the driver under these circumstances.

I recently tried to order from Smoking’ Burgers and Shakes, but my order never arrived. When I contacted them, they claimed the delivery was made 40 minutes ago and said they would send the driver back to resolve the issue. However, the driver couldn't confirm the delivery to our house as he had multiple deliveries on the same road. There was no delivery proof provided, and the app still shows the order as "out for delivery" two hours later. While the driver was trying to help, he mentioned it might have been another driver working that night. Despite our calm approach, the staff on the phone were rude and did not believe us. We have been loyal customers, yet we encountered unprofessionalism and a lack of cooperation this time. We are seeking a refund for the undelivered food.

I used the Uber Eats app to order a KFC meal to my work address. I left a note for the driver but received no response in the chat. Despite the app saying my food was delivered, I never received it. I attempted to call the driver through the app, but their phone was off. On May 1st, my friend and I tried to order a bottle of white wine from Nightrider Alcohol Drinks 24/7 at 4:20 am after a night out. The app initially showed a 25-minute delivery time, but after paying, the delivery time increased to 5:50 am. Since there was no direct store contact information, I cancelled the order via Uber chat. Even after canceling, the store informed me, 25 minutes later, that they couldn't deliver the order. Despite waiting two weeks for a refund and reaching out to chase it, I was informed that refunds are not possible after 7 days. I clarified that I wasn't asking for a refund but only chasing it. I discovered that although the order was cancelled and undeliverable, the app inaccurately showed it as delivered at 7:22 am. With no delivery seen on my Ring camera, I've escalated the issue with my bank and seek both a refund and compensation.

Hello, I am Ema Cherreau, a long-time Uber Eats customer. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received last night. I will provide details of the situation below: - I placed an order from Five Guys at 00:39 for a total of 32 euros. - The initial delivery time was supposed to be 30 minutes according to the app. - The delivery driver only picked up the food from Five Guys 35 minutes after the order. - The driver did not respond to my messages for an hour. - The food arrived at 02:05, almost 2 hours later. - The food was completely cold, the fries were inedible, and the burger was soggy from the aluminum packaging. - I did not receive the ketchup or mayo I paid for. On the receipt from Five Guys, it shows that the food was ready at 12:49, just 10 minutes after we ordered. The food arrived at 01:51, indicating the long delay in delivery. The issue seems to be with the app and the time management of the new driver. I hope for a prompt response to understand and address this issue. I expect a full refund on either my credit card or Uber Eats account. I am currently very dissatisfied with your service, and I trust this matter will be resolved promptly to prevent any further financial loss on my end.

I hesitated for 30 minutes before ordering food from Uber Eats for the first time at [redacted] Albert Street, Waterloo at midnight on Sunday, May 15. I provided my apartment number and door code, but the driver left the food in an open spot downstairs without notifying me. Despite checking at 1:20 am and finding the food marked as delivered at 12:54 am, it was missing. Only drinks were left, and the restaurant confirmed sending the correct order. I suspect the food might have been taken or misplaced. When trying to address the issue through the app, I was charged $16 for a refund instead of receiving the assistance I needed. I received several notifications from Uber about a 12 euro promo. Although I don't usually use delivery services, the promotions were so insistent that I decided to use it. After selecting my items and placing my order, I was informed at checkout that the promo wasn't applicable to my purchase. I tried again, assuming it was a mistake, but was charged the full amount of 19 euros plus a 4 euro fee, without the promo being applied. I feel misled and would like a refund of the promised 12 euros.

Hello, today, my friend in the USA sent me a birthday gift here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Unfortunately, my driver's license is currently in renewal, so I only have a temporary one without a photo ID. Even though the government accepts this temporary license as valid, Uber Eats is not accepting it. I'm puzzled as I've received deliveries before from Uber Eats drivers with the same type of license. Why do they suddenly need my passport which I find unnecessary and invasive? I feel disappointed and believe this goes against the norms of using personal documents in Canada. I'm uncomfortable providing my passport when I've shown my valid driver's license. I'm left without my gift to celebrate, and the driver was unhelpful and didn't understand my situation. Why does Uber Eats in Calgary require my passport when I don't even know the driver's name? I'm concerned about my personal information and how it will be used. How can Uber Eats not have proper identification procedures for deliveries in Canada considering the prevalence of fake profiles and scammers?

I received a $30 voucher from CIBC Simplii Financial from my employer a year ago, which expired on May 16th. Despite numerous attempts, I was not able to successfully place an order as it always got declined at the final step. Recently, I also received an additional $50 gift card from the same employer, but I am facing the same issue with using it on Uber Eats. This problem arose approximately a year ago when I informed them that I would no longer be driving part-time and wanted to put the account on hold. I even created an alternate account under the email [redacted] I am requesting a refund of the $30 credit to be transferred to my other account, along with the $50 gift card. I have sent multiple emails and experienced unprofessional transfers, prompting me to share my experience for a Cable Pulse 24 investigation.
